Definitely make a reservation in advance if you can. Enjoyed brunch at the bar with lovely service from the bartender. Grey shrimp with cheese grits and my mom had the veggie Benedict - also delicious! Mimosas are only $4.50 but are pre-mixed so a little heavy on the OJ for my taste. Great restaurant in a cute neighborhood...def worth checking out!
Never let us down. Menu not extensive but always deliver quality and fine service
Wonderful service
Great food with an excellent server! Highly recommended!
We were at a table literally right at the door and we were constantly being bumped by the hostess. There should not have been a table there. Tables were also very small. The food and service was good but just not what I expected. We may try again when the weather is nicer and we can sit outside.
Nothing wrong here, just not on that superior level for the little extras. For example: green beans cooked well but no sauce or any pluses. Same with the crab cake, very good quality, cooked well, just nothing extra.
I was very excited to dine at 300 East and enjoy the salmon. I have food restrictions and learned that the salmon and most other meats already have seasoning on it. Had to order the chicken which was nothing fantastic and requested the veggies with no butter or seasoning. Veggies were served with tons of butter.
Server also seemed annoyed we did not order wine or dessert.
I’ve been to 300 East before and had a wonderful meal. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who has food restrictions.
The ahi tuna salad I had was outstanding as
was the brownie and ice cream! My husband and cousin also enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend!
Still one of my favorite restaurants. I have been a patron since 2001.
Staff was friendly and the food was excellent with generous portions. Will be back!
Easter menu was fresh and exciting. Table was ready moments after our arrival. Service was excellent, server quite pleasant. Quite an enjoyable experience which was more surprising on a busy holiday. Kitchen and front staff obviously work well together. Lovely meal.
The food was absolutely amazing!! I had the sweet potato ravioli for an appetizer, and the shrimp BLT with potato salad for my entree. Can’t go wrong with anything you choose!
It takes me 50 minutes to get here, so I don’t come as often as I would if I were close by. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. Unpretentious, yet an always inventive menu. I’ve never seen a misstep here. I know I’m in for a wonderful meal shared with friends: a sure bet. Highly recommend!
Excellent service, very good food - we had the broiled scampi special and the pimento cheese appetizer. Desserts were decent - nothing special about the brownie, but the ice cream sandwich was great. Very good wine selection!
Best part was a very extensive gluten free menu and a very knowledgeable server who made sure we were aware of the options - including gluten free crackers for the pimento cheese!!!
Will definitely be back!
You really can't go wrong with 300 East. We took visitors passing through town and they were so pleased there were vegan and gluten-friendly options available. Weekend brunch can have wait times, but our visit on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 was perfect, with our table being ready immediately.
Tables are a little small.
Am new to Charlotte and the restaurant was recommended by several people. It didn’t disappoint! Had a great dinner and would definitely return
So loud. We were sitting around a small table and had to shout it each others' ears. There are booths that looked like they may have been quieter but we were stuck in the middle of the second floor. It was dark to, and not in a good way. Our server had checked out long ago and was just going through the motions. The Chef's Veggie plate was two different kinds of chick pea salads, some asparagus drowning in butter and bread. Seriously? The sorbet of the day was cucumber, but one of the other deserts came with sweat potato sorbet so I asked for a scoop of that. No, said the manager. There's no way to serve one sorbet in the place of another. So much for service. How hard would that have been really? Portions were small and we all left hungry. Will never go back.
Seated immediately we were glad we had made reservations as we encountered a number of people waiting after finishing our meal. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Menu options suited all three of us and we were pleased with our choices. Dessert of white chocolate brioche pudding was exceptional.
The pizza dough was still raw. The burger was 95% bun. Very few options.
Outstanding atmosphere, great service and great food!!!
Always a favorite spot :)
Lovely experience for a Sunday brunch. Would recommend this restaurant.
Awesome food and service! We had an amazingly delicious meal. The Gorgonzola steak was to die for!
The tuna lunch was awesome. Service was good. The shrimp sandwich was pitiful. Maybe 4 shrimp total. Tables too close together, table too small. Poor place for a business lunch maybe ok for a quick bite with one close friend. Thanks
The host was less than pleasant. He seemed annoyed to be working. The waitress was nice but not attentive at all. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We will try it again and hopefully the service will be better.
We always book a reservation when we’re in Charlotte. Love this restaurant- the menu, atmosphere and the whole experience.
Awesome meal! Filet was cooked to perfection and the Gorgonzola cheese stuffing was exceptional (just the right amount.
Great servers, food was delicious (avacado BLT is awesome!) and the host was out of this world! Very friendly staff and once again the food was incredible!
I've been to 300 East on multiple occasions and everything has always been delicious! Its definitely a neighborhood favorite, so make a reservation!
The food came out cold. I got the lamb ragout, had good flavor but was really hoping for a nice hot ragout to warm me my up sith the chilly weather! Amazing crab cakes and Half off wine on Wednesday was a steal!
Best Brunch in Charlotte
Top notch. GreAt food and service. Good recommendations from server.
Food was excellent as always. I had the Sonoma Salas and my companion had the sweet potato ravioli. Elizabeth our server was wonderful! We will be back.
Excellent service and Great Food. The most consistent food in charlotte.
One of my favorite places in Charlotte, however this time the service was a little slow and the food was not up to par with the other times I have been here. Still pretty good.
The place is charming, although loud when busy, and the food is delicious. The service this time, however, was definitely lacking. We were seated right on time but our waiter was rude and completely uninterested in our party. He was totally distracted when interacting with us and seemed put out when we asked for more coffee, etc. He was downright rude when he did bring it. He does not help the image of this restaurant and almost offset all the positive things about it. Maybe he needs to rethink his career path! Food was great though!
Appetizers were excellent and timely served. Amazing salads for each of our party of 4. Nice wine selection and clean cork. Entrees were all great, well prepared, selections were imaginative and excellently paired flavors and textures. Only downside was food was cold. First time that ever happened to us at 300 East. My wife and I said nothing to server because flavor was so good and didn’t want to delay eating with our friends. We’ll be back, considering this an anomaly.
I went for lunch and sat at the bar. The Bartender recommended a salad that I loved. I came back for dinner with family. We all had delicious meals, crabcake meal, Ahi Tuna meal and Filet Mignon meal so so good.
Will return when back in Charlotte 💖
Went for a girls night out and everybody cleared the plates and love the food. Will definitely be back
