We stop here every time we pass through Charlotte because we love it so much!
Wait was very long. Food was just ok. Would not recommend it to my friends.
The food was excellent as always! Service was good for a busy Friday night. We will absolutely be returning
I decided to try 300 East based on the ambiance and the google reviews. Underwhelmed best describes my experience there. 300 East was completely average. The food was good, but definitely not worth the price tag. And while the lights outside added for a nice touch, the inside was a strange mix of plastic tablecloths and snobbery. It wasn't bad by any means, but I wish I would have spent my money elsewhere.
Great place to dine. Atmosphere was wonderful. Service was great.
Atmosphere was pleasant, food was fantastic. I will visit again and tell my friends
Great neighborhood spot for brunch. On Mother's Day, it was very busy but was managed quite well. Great food and service--will return.
I’m very impressed by the service and the food was delicious!
This was our second visit. Party of 7 celebrating graduation from UNCC. Food was wonderful and we felt like it was a good value for the quality. Our server was awesome! It's in a neat historic house. Two of us have gluten or gluten/dairy intolerances - they have gluten free menu and were great dealing with dairy intolerance as well. Gluten free and dairy free desserts available as well - and really good! Definitely would go back again and again!
I always have a very enjoyable time at 300 East. The food was very tasty but left something to be desired. Mainly the Roasted Chicken, which was incredibly dry. The Hangar Steak however was delicious, as always. I like coming here, but I'm not sure I'll make it my first choice again.
Great food and service but very noisy due to the number of people there.
The service was excellent.
Great food and service as always. 300 East is a “go to” place for a good meal for a good price. Not too fancy and a lively atmosphere. It’s a fun date night or out w your girlfriends. The bar is fun too. Highly recommend in the South End. Easy walking distance to other bars too.
Delicious food and really cute house atmosphere. Get the bacon wrapped Gorgonzola stuffed filet- you won’t regret it!
A true neighborhood gem! Lovely old home transformed into a unique two-level dining experience. Consistent food and quality. Fine service. A small bar. Great Sunday brunch. Like an old friend.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Typically I love this place and do often recommend it to people. I went there recently for brunch with a couple girlfriends. The drinks took forever to arrive which was disappointing. The food was ok...not great, I feel like I've had better experiences eating here. But, I would give it another go.
Went for brunch Sunday morning after hearing great things. I expected more, but overall a good experience. I wasn't too impressed with the breakfast pizza - maybe I misordered but recommendations for it sounded good. Chorizo was tasty but the rest of it felt sloppily thrown together. The daily frittata was pretty standard too IMO.
Everything fine, except that the noise level on the second floor was excruciating and made it almost impossible to converse. The problem is caused by the large, centrally located table with several "shriekers." I'll never sit upstairs again.
I have always loved 300 for many years now. The noise level this time was horrendous, the red wine selection left something to be desired and the food just wasn't what it used to be.
Wonderful, as always!
We came to celebrate our anniversary and the food and service were outstanding. We had the lamb, the pork chop, and special Kentucky Derby inspired dessert (think mint julep crossed with a brownie). Seating is funky since it's in an old house, but it was fun to wander through the maze to find our table. Definitely would come again.
Had never been here and didn't realize there was an upstairs. I should have called and requested seating on the lower level, my mistake. No blame on the restaurant.
We had a reservation and we're seated very timely, we did not have to wait past our reservation time.
The food was very good, I was surprised that the crabcake meal came with only 1 crabcake, and my side of potatoes was rather skimpy. Everyone else had nice sized portions. The potatoes were not warm on mine or my husband's meals.
All 4 of us would have ordered dessert, but the choices were very unique, so none of us had dessert. (I would suggest at least 1 item on the dessert menu be a basic dessert, even if it's just an ice cream sundae. )
The service was very good.
this was in celebration of my mother’s 90th birthday
The staff was most accommodating and the food was superb!!!
This is definitely a repeat
Awesome food and perfect atmosphere
For my birthday brunch I chose 300 East because of the reviews on their Eggs Benedict. The reviews were not wrong - DELICIOUS! A classic Eggs Benedict with perfectly cooked eggs, delicious ham, and what was clearly a made to order hollandaise. I'll be back every birthday!
Delicious brunch on the patio. Crabcake Benedict was delicious as was the fritatta and French toast. One of the prettiest patios in the city.
One of my favorites. Beautiful ambiance. Gourmet menu. Loved it.
Consistently great food, service and the best ambiance in Charlotte. It's a classic !
Everything we ordered was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. Food took a little longer so they brought us a free appetizer. Great food, great service!
This was the best Easter brunch on a beautiful spring Sunday! Sat in a booth next to the window....
The food was amazing! My son said the French toast and bacon was the best ever!! And he’s a 17 year old Foodie! We are big fans of 300 East!
The food as always was amazing! we walked in a few minutes early and were quickly seated and greeted.
I had the shrimp blt and my friend had the crab cake sandwich and it was really really good
Great place where we went with my parents. Food was delicious and Jason was a perfect host! Thanks!
The food is always delicious, servers are friendly, but meal times have begun to drag out- waited almost 45 minutes for or food last Saturday lunchtime.
Food and service are good, great place to meet up with friends. Been going to 300 for years on & off, always a good bet.
Dinner was great! The menu offers a good variety for everyone. As a Keto follower, I enjoyed a bun-less grass fed burger and roasted asparagus. My friends had a very nice Pinot and entrees with unique flavor profiles. Our service was good and we received our food promptly. We sat downstairs where the ambience is quite nice. We went on a Wednesday so although it was busy, it wasn’t so crowded that we felt rushed. They offer 1/2 price wine by the bottle on Wednesday. Overall a very nice experience that we plan to repeat.
As usual, our experience at 300 East was a good one. The food is always exceptional , as is the service.
Every time I go. I love it, good experience, good food, service.. love it
Everything was great but the receptionist wasn’t very friendly....
I always love eating at 300 East. It’s cozy and delicious
