Inspired by contemporary wine country living, our new full-service restaurant provides an elegant and comfortable atmosphere that embraces the beauty of our natural surroundings. Our enticing menu places a large emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine prepared with natural, farm-fresh local ingredients. The restaurant offers an approachable and creative wine list where each offering is hand selected with the intention of creating the perfect compliment to your meal. During the warm-weather season, outdoor dining is available. Other options at 30Boltwood include a small private dining room for up to 8 guests and our greenhouse room that showcases a common table that seats up to 16 people.

This was our second dining experience here, the 1st blew us away so we thought we would go for their Valentines Day special menu. Service started off slow, but given it was busy we let it go. Food taste was excellent, but don't go there hungry....portions were VERY small. For the most part the seating doesn't allow for a quiet romantic conversation, your table is literally less than 12" inches from the next table...texting back and forth may work best if you want to discuss something personal. Of course we will go again but not for any special occasion!

We were staying at the Lord Jeffrey so it seemed natural to try 30 Boltwood. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The food was very good and served with a good pace (not too fast or too slow). The ambiance is classy. We simply had a great experience.

The service, from reservation to seating & throughout the meal, was exceptional. McKenzie was the perfect waitperson, intelligent, thoughtful, prompt & witty. The food was deemed very god by all (I had the kale salad, and it was the best Kale Caesar salad ever. (The lemon in the dressing was perfect, the white anchovies are always the best.). All agreed that 30 Boltwood is the perfect venue for our monthly gatherings. We are the ROMEOs, and we approve this review!

Casual and elegant decor; very friendly and helpful staff; loved our hummus app platter and our rose wine; delicious lamb chops and special salad with tuna was quite good; my sister's vegetarian dish was only OK

This was our third (fourth?) time at the Lord Jeff. We almost went somewhere else because on past visits, the food has been mediocre. Great ambiance, nice service, mediocre food. But it was a Tuesday night when a lot of other restaurants were closed, so we decided to give it another try. Well voila! The food was much, much better this time! I would definitely go back, and understand that there is a new chef, which must be the reason for the improvement. Nice!

Atmosphere is very nice. Bar is nicely designed and perfect for a cocktail and conversation. Menu is very limited one fish, one beef, and one chicken. Don’t like the choice and you’re pushed into a totally different type of meal. The cost is on the higher side, which would be fine but not when you feel like you “settled” on a meal you really didn’t want.

Creative, delicious food that is always plated in a beautiful manner. Hosts and wait staff are friendly and accommodating. Stop by if you are in the Amherst area. You will not be disappointed!

All four, different, entres were wonderfully prepared, well presented and delicious. Cameron, our waitperson, was anxious to please and knew his menu offerings. Our wine selection, an upscale chard was particularly good. We look forward to returning. The lighted tree on the Amherst Common was a great surprise as well!
