The atmosphere was very amazing! the food wasn't too expensive but it sure looked like it. The servers knew what they were talking about when we asked about certain foods. I would certainly recommend the avocado fries.
It was a terrible experience, and I would never go back. Our friends and family asked how the restaurant was since they haven't been before. To say the least, they won't waste their time going to your restaurant My boyfriend and I made reservations for 7:00 pm on Saturday for a celebratory date. We were very excited to try this restaurant. We drove all the way from Rogers. We got to the restaurant at 6:55. A whole hour after we ordered our food, our server informed us that there was a party of 30 in the back room. However, the rest of the restaurant wasn't even that crowded? Our server told us that it would be even later before our food would be prepared. Our server didn't care in the slightest that we were growing agitated and extremely hungry. Most decent servers would have at least offered their paying customers more bread in the mean time while they waited. That was not the case. We experienced extremely poor service. Our water glasses were empty half of the time. Over an hour later, we decided to not waste any more time waiting for food that probably wasn't even anywhere close to being ready. We flagged down our server (not sure you could even call her a server because she hardly even waited on us the whole time we were there?). There were customers all around us getting their food, dessert, etc., yet ours was nowhere to be seen. We told our waitress that we wanted our check (we ordered the avocado fries as an appetizer, which were very delicious. They were the only pleasant part of our experience). Most servers that want their paying customers to have an over all good experience would have grabbed the manager and expressed an apology. However, our server replied with a simple "okay", with zero emotions. She took another 10 minutes before she even got the check back to our table. Still, she never once apologized for the horrendous experience. In short, we left hungry, agitated, and with zero intentions of ever going back. Would not recommend this restaurant.
The menu options at 28 Springs are always changing and unique. I love that they use local fare! Always great food and wonderful service.
The avocado fries were great—we could not wait to try them after all the raves on the reviews and we were not disappointed. The chicken papeika was recommended by the waiter and came with gnocchi and was really good. The tenderloin medallions however were not—very disappointed.
The service and food were great, and the interior of the restaurant is really cool. It was a little bit noisy, but not too bad. Overall we had a great time!
We just didn't have much privacy. We couldn't hardly speak to each other because of the two conversations going on so close to us, the waiter couldn't really tell us what beer he had on hand everyone my husband asked for he said they were out so he ended up she going with a Budweiser, he did say his crab cakes were great. My chicken pot pie wasn't the best. Not sure if we will try again or not just didn't have a good experience
Valentine’s Day with the wife. The food and service was great.
Exceptional meal for Valentines Day. Couldn’t have been better. Excellent service. This restaurant has really advanced in the quality of its food and service.
We love dining at 28 Springs. The food is consistently delicious. My favorite appetizer is avocado fries. The steaks are amazing!
We have eaten here before and loved it. Our recent visit was no exception. The food was excellent and our waiter, Zach, was extremely good. The atmosphere is also very nice. We love the pretzel bread. It was a perfect evening for our anniversary celebration.
Wow! What a great surprise this restaurant was! I e been reading lots of great reviews, but just had to decide for myself. The server was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, and if she didn’t know something, she got back with us. We ordered the blue corn muffins, and could have stopped with that. They are worth the visit alone. Both my husband and I ordered the menu Salmon. I ordered mine just as listed, but my husband had lots of changes, and everything showed up just right. The wine selection was good and not what you see at every other restaurant. We’ve made plans to come again next week for a birthday. The music is gateway too!
28 Springs is a step above the rest when it comes to area restaurants. The food is reminiscent of recipes from the old south mixed with a touch of urban flare.
Poor, inattentive service, especially for the price.
Excellent food and service. We went on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Worth the drive for us.
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our experience. Loved the ambiance and the service was great. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was mostly deep fat fried with a thin sliver of chicken that was tasty, but slightly on the tough side. The pretzel bread is very unique but too salty for our tastes, which may be the make-up of a pretzel bread. My wife enjoyed her entree and the portions are very generous.
Outstanding. Our new favorite
Great dining experience. Great food.
Love 28Springs. Anniversary dinner date with my wife and another couple. Wonderful place in downtown.
Our appetizer was wonderful, meal was equally as wonderful. Great restaurant for couples and business. They have a meeting room also.
Great service & delicious food! It was a great place to make my daughter's 13th Birthday feel extra special
Excellent choices for vegans and folks that require gluten free or Paleo food. Creative local and seasonal menu and cocktails. Comfortable ambiance if you arrive early. Excellent service.
Our family loves 28 Springs...they always accommodate our small grandchildren and are so great to help in our celebrations of birthdays and anniversaries!
Nice change of pace in a scenic downtown. Menu was solid and the blue corn muffins with jam were a hit.
My boyfriend and I decided to go by here for a date night, and we're far from disappointed!! Our waiter was not only on top of things, but was also extremely helpful. We hadn't checked out the menu beforehand, and he helped us make our dinner choices. The prices weren't bad, and the food was incredible! 10/10. Not only this, but I had received a gift card to this restaurant from my boss and when I went to pay, they told me there was no money on the card. I wasn't upset but our waiter said he would go speak to his manager and they discounted our meal the amount of the gift card! ($40). It was a fantastic experience and I will be back to visit soon!!
Excellent food, great service. They took very good care of us. Will be back.
Great ambience, good menu. Food was good but had some small issues with temperature and doneness. Service was good and friendly until our waitress got a big table and we didn't see her for quite some time. It wasn't a bother since we were not in a hurry. For the area it seems like a great spot. We were there at 7 on a Saturday and it was not even half full. Makes you wonder if the locals know something I didn't as a tourist.
Not many options in Siloam Springs that are of this quality. Food is great and has a good beverage list and many beers on tab for those of you that like craft beers. Nice place to meet friends for a fun dinner. Can make reservations on line.
Daughter's 18th birthday dinner
It was a very nice experience. I would certain recommend 28 Springs Restaurant.
It was an "okay" experience. They ran out of the "special" at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. My sides were undercooked and my meat was overcooked. Overall very average.
Excellent restaurant in a very nice downtown area. Parking was easy, no waiting, excellent food and service with a complete bar (husband likes single malt scotch, and I like good wine). We will definitely be putting this one on our favorites list.
Spectacular burger and the best chocolate dessert I ever had. Amazing!
We dined here for Mother's Day Brunch ... excellent mimosas and dessert! Our main meals were awful ... my husband ordered a ham/bacon/kale omelet and it was completely dry and bland! Not sure how it is possible with those ingredients? Cheese only on one-half of omelet. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were not poached but rather flat, firm whites with a semi-runny center. Long Chinese green beans were pretty but not tasty at all. We both ordered "home fries" but instead got boiled, mushy fingerling potatoes with an awful stench. We were sad that we drove 45 minutes from Bentonville for a bad meal.
We had a group of seven for Mother's Day brunch. Food and service were terrific! Great atmosphere. Our mom was happy! Would definitely return for a date night or to just relax at the bar.
The food was good. We were seated at the wrong table and it was way too big for our group. As they got busier the service was slow. Food was good. I would go back!
Food and service was very good. Everyone had clean plates. Had to try dessert also. Can't wait to go back again.
Everything was perfect with the exception of the Brussel sprouts side dish... Some were still frozen in the middle...... still cold... At first, I thought they were supposed to be cold... but one was still frozen.... No excuse for that.
Excellent food and presented beautifully! It's a special treat to go on the night that The Sons of Otis Malone are playing! Can't beat live music and delicious food!
the food was great but they set us at this huge table where we could not visit very well
Very nice dining experience! Service, by our sever, Cotton, and others, was excellent. We enjoyed the avocado fries first, then the veggie lasagna and the chicken fried steak. CFS was a hit! Loved the mashed potatoes and green beans that accompanied it. Veggie lasagna was really good with layers of wonderful mushrooms and greens, but its sauces lacked a rich herbal (and garlic) nuance I wanted to taste in the beautifully presented plate.
If we're ever in Siloam Springs again, we'll definitely be back to try more!
First the good news: the halibut (on special) and the salmon (menu) were excellent. The tempura asparagus was creative and a very good appetizer.
The place has a great buzz with families and friends enjoying a night out. The minimalist decor means sound bounces around. It was a bit noisy for an anniversary dinner.
I'd love to tell you about the crab and lobster cake, but the server did not write it down so it never came. She seemed rather overwhelmed.
The disappointment is the brownie sundae that isn't. It's a frozen dessert with a brownie base and a couple of layers of ice cream on top. I would not have ordered it had I know what it was. Some people might love it, but if you're expecting a brownie with a scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce (i.e. "a brownie sundae) you will be surprised. This option really needs to be described more accurately on the menu.
All lin all, I would definitely go back for dinner and would recommend it as a cultural as well as a culinary experience.
