We just didn't have much privacy. We couldn't hardly speak to each other because of the two conversations going on so close to us, the waiter couldn't really tell us what beer he had on hand everyone my husband asked for he said they were out so he ended up she going with a Budweiser, he did say his crab cakes were great. My chicken pot pie wasn't the best. Not sure if we will try again or not just didn't have a good experience
We have eaten here before and loved it. Our recent visit was no exception. The food was excellent and our waiter, Zach, was extremely good. The atmosphere is also very nice. We love the pretzel bread. It was a perfect evening for our anniversary celebration.
Wow! What a great surprise this restaurant was! I e been reading lots of great reviews, but just had to decide for myself. The server was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, and if she didn’t know something, she got back with us. We ordered the blue corn muffins, and could have stopped with that. They are worth the visit alone. Both my husband and I ordered the menu Salmon. I ordered mine just as listed, but my husband had lots of changes, and everything showed up just right. The wine selection was good and not what you see at every other restaurant. We’ve made plans to come again next week for a birthday. The music is gateway too!
Overall, my wife and I enjoyed our experience. Loved the ambiance and the service was great. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was mostly deep fat fried with a thin sliver of chicken that was tasty, but slightly on the tough side. The pretzel bread is very unique but too salty for our tastes, which may be the make-up of a pretzel bread. My wife enjoyed her entree and the portions are very generous.
My boyfriend and I decided to go by here for a date night, and we're far from disappointed!! Our waiter was not only on top of things, but was also extremely helpful. We hadn't checked out the menu beforehand, and he helped us make our dinner choices. The prices weren't bad, and the food was incredible! 10/10. Not only this, but I had received a gift card to this restaurant from my boss and when I went to pay, they told me there was no money on the card. I wasn't upset but our waiter said he would go speak to his manager and they discounted our meal the amount of the gift card! ($40). It was a fantastic experience and I will be back to visit soon!!
Great ambience, good menu. Food was good but had some small issues with temperature and doneness. Service was good and friendly until our waitress got a big table and we didn't see her for quite some time. It wasn't a bother since we were not in a hurry. For the area it seems like a great spot. We were there at 7 on a Saturday and it was not even half full. Makes you wonder if the locals know something I didn't as a tourist.
We dined here for Mother's Day Brunch ... excellent mimosas and dessert! Our main meals were awful ... my husband ordered a ham/bacon/kale omelet and it was completely dry and bland! Not sure how it is possible with those ingredients? Cheese only on one-half of omelet. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were not poached but rather flat, firm whites with a semi-runny center. Long Chinese green beans were pretty but not tasty at all. We both ordered "home fries" but instead got boiled, mushy fingerling potatoes with an awful stench. We were sad that we drove 45 minutes from Bentonville for a bad meal.
Very nice dining experience! Service, by our sever, Cotton, and others, was excellent. We enjoyed the avocado fries first, then the veggie lasagna and the chicken fried steak. CFS was a hit! Loved the mashed potatoes and green beans that accompanied it. Veggie lasagna was really good with layers of wonderful mushrooms and greens, but its sauces lacked a rich herbal (and garlic) nuance I wanted to taste in the beautifully presented plate.
If we're ever in Siloam Springs again, we'll definitely be back to try more!
First the good news: the halibut (on special) and the salmon (menu) were excellent. The tempura asparagus was creative and a very good appetizer.
The place has a great buzz with families and friends enjoying a night out. The minimalist decor means sound bounces around. It was a bit noisy for an anniversary dinner.
I'd love to tell you about the crab and lobster cake, but the server did not write it down so it never came. She seemed rather overwhelmed.
The disappointment is the brownie sundae that isn't. It's a frozen dessert with a brownie base and a couple of layers of ice cream on top. I would not have ordered it had I know what it was. Some people might love it, but if you're expecting a brownie with a scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce (i.e. "a brownie sundae) you will be surprised. This option really needs to be described more accurately on the menu.
All lin all, I would definitely go back for dinner and would recommend it as a cultural as well as a culinary experience.
Took my wife for Valentine's Day. Ambiance was very nice-active enough to look well patronized, but not so noisy that we could not talk comfortably. The food was very good, and Chef James is always creative in his menu, though tonight it was a prix fixe rather than the usual choices. We had filet mignon, and halibut. The lobster stuffed potato was excellent, and my wife enjoyed her asparagus, which some restaurants don't do well.
