28 Springs Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I were celebrating, so we went all out with a hot spinach appetizer and blue chips that were wonderful. I ordered the swordfish and couldn't have been happier. It was cooked to perfection and had some delightful vegetables with it. My husband had the 28 Springs burger and loved it. He has had it before and it is his favorite burger. We were so full that we didn't get dessert, but the selection did look very good.
My boyfriend and I decided to go by here for a date night, and we're far from disappointed!! Our waiter was not only on top of things, but was also extremely helpful. We hadn't checked out the menu beforehand, and he helped us make our dinner choices. The prices weren't bad, and the food was incredible! 10/10. Not only this, but I had received a gift card to this restaurant from my boss and when I went to pay, they told me there was no money on the card. I wasn't upset but our waiter said he would go speak to his manager and they discounted our meal the amount of the gift card! ($40). It was a fantastic experience and I will be back to visit soon!!
Great ambience, good menu. Food was good but had some small issues with temperature and doneness. Service was good and friendly until our waitress got a big table and we didn't see her for quite some time. It wasn't a bother since we were not in a hurry. For the area it seems like a great spot. We were there at 7 on a Saturday and it was not even half full. Makes you wonder if the locals know something I didn't as a tourist.
We dined here for Mother's Day Brunch ... excellent mimosas and dessert! Our main meals were awful ... my husband ordered a ham/bacon/kale omelet and it was completely dry and bland! Not sure how it is possible with those ingredients? Cheese only on one-half of omelet. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were not poached but rather flat, firm whites with a semi-runny center. Long Chinese green beans were pretty but not tasty at all. We both ordered "home fries" but instead got boiled, mushy fingerling potatoes with an awful stench. We were sad that we drove 45 minutes from Bentonville for a bad meal.
Very nice dining experience! Service, by our sever, Cotton, and others, was excellent. We enjoyed the avocado fries first, then the veggie lasagna and the chicken fried steak. CFS was a hit! Loved the mashed potatoes and green beans that accompanied it. Veggie lasagna was really good with layers of wonderful mushrooms and greens, but its sauces lacked a rich herbal (and garlic) nuance I wanted to taste in the beautifully presented plate.
If we're ever in Siloam Springs again, we'll definitely be back to try more!
First the good news: the halibut (on special) and the salmon (menu) were excellent. The tempura asparagus was creative and a very good appetizer.
The place has a great buzz with families and friends enjoying a night out. The minimalist decor means sound bounces around. It was a bit noisy for an anniversary dinner.
I'd love to tell you about the crab and lobster cake, but the server did not write it down so it never came. She seemed rather overwhelmed.
The disappointment is the brownie sundae that isn't. It's a frozen dessert with a brownie base and a couple of layers of ice cream on top. I would not have ordered it had I know what it was. Some people might love it, but if you're expecting a brownie with a scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce (i.e. "a brownie sundae) you will be surprised. This option really needs to be described more accurately on the menu.
All lin all, I would definitely go back for dinner and would recommend it as a cultural as well as a culinary experience.
Took my wife for Valentine's Day. Ambiance was very nice-active enough to look well patronized, but not so noisy that we could not talk comfortably. The food was very good, and Chef James is always creative in his menu, though tonight it was a prix fixe rather than the usual choices. We had filet mignon, and halibut. The lobster stuffed potato was excellent, and my wife enjoyed her asparagus, which some restaurants don't do well.
I took my wife to dinner for her birthday after being introduced to 28 Springs by my VP when we were in town on business. I really liked the lunch, service, and the atmosphere of the restaurant. My great lunch is why I drove all the way down from Bella Vista for dinner with my wife. I never would have guessed such a great restaurant would be in Siloam Springs.
My only recommendation is to offer more non-beef based entrees. I love beef but became allergic to it after a tick bite a few years ago.
My wife and I both had the rotisserie chicken and it was excellent.
We love that there is always something new to try at 28 Springs. You can count on them to be seasonally relevant, utilize great local ingredients, and have consistent execution. We love coming here whether "just because" or for a special reason. Great for groups and the price points are very reasonable for the quality and amount you get. Great drink list and the pretzel bread is a must!
We are from Tulsa and we have a son that lives in the Fayetteville area so everytime we haven't seen him for a while, we always suggest, lets meet at 28 Springs for dinner and he always says yes, we all love your place, the food is amazing, service always superb, and we love your atmosphere, everyone at 28 Springs is always happy and that is contagious! Keep it up!!
Nice ambiance - however - when we arrived we found out that there was a pre-fixe menu for the evening which was not disclosed on their website when making reservations. When our food arrived the meat and potato were both cold to the touch; the waitress took it back and returned later with the plates in which you could tell that the meat was just recooked. Unfortunately even now the meat was barely warm and potatoes still cold - she didn't come back for quite some time, when she did she apologized and said she would mention it to her manager. No one ever came by and there was not adjustment made on our bill. Not a great experience for 3 people for $175. We won't be back.
New Years Eve dinner. Our Open Table reservation was accepted and confirmed but they didn't see it when we arrived. We were seated in an overflow space. Food and service were great. Ambiance was bad since we were put in a mostly empty room with only one other couple.
I took my family there for my mom's birthday. It was great! The service was awesome (water glass never empty and fresh bread always on hand). The menu has something for everyone, and everything was outstanding. Being in Siloam Springs, it's a bit of a drive from the rest of NWA, but it's so well worth it.
