Enjoyable set menu with fresh flavoursome food and great wine pairings.
We had the Spring set menu, and it was delicious food, lovely wine pairings and great value for money.
Excellent service, and great food. Will be back again!
We had a great 3 course Summer Lunch with each course paired with gorgeous wine. Food was delicious, especially burrata and salmon ceviche! And lemon posset was devine:)
Excellent service and the sommelier was very knowledgable. Matched wine to food impeccably.
Spring menu with well chosen wine paring. Nicely prepared and great food. Great service and staff did their best to keep us out of the hail storm!!
Dear MJ, Thank you for your kind comments, we are glad to hear you enjoyed our spring menu. We hope to see you back with us soon. Kind regards, Ginny
Staff tried really hard to keep everyone dry and warm -handed out fleece blankets and umbrellas.
Food was tasty and wine delicious and good value.
Looking forward to returning when we can sit inside.
Lemon posset was absolutely delicious.
Dear Margot, We are so glad you enjoyed your experience at 28-50 Marylebone. 17th May can't come sooner and we hope to see you there with us! Kind regards, Ginny
Came here for lunch with mum. Mediocre food. Her lamb was basically boiled and tasteless, my burger wasn’t better than a Burger King, also tasteless. Starter was insipid ceviche again no taste. Below average.
Lovely spot for an outside lunch or dinner, just off Marylebone Road, under the cover of heaters.
Breakfast was lovely, sun was shining on our table and the staff were lovely too! Would recommend!
Dear Carla, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Ginny
Great Spring Menu paired with wine. Very helpful staff.
Went here to celebrate my birthday. We had to sit outside but the heaters were so good we weren’t cold at all. Charcuterie and cheese board was good as was the wine.
Took my girlfriend here for dinner. Food was fantastic, lamb shoulder was cooked to perfection and the best deserts I’ve had for a long time. Wines are perfectly matched. Would 100% recommend and go again
Our server Ninka was exceptional; incredibly courteous, patient, knowledgeable and couldn’t have been more accommodating to our sometimes over-enthusiastic party of 6. She alone was worth the very hefty bill at the end of the evening (the sommelier was very on his game too). The hot-water bottles, blankets and extra umbrellas provided made the evening survivable in the British climate not known for its April al-fresco dining.
Would definitely go back and highly recommend
Thank you for your lovely comments on Ninka, we are delighted to have her as part of our team. Very glad to hear you enjoyed your evening with us and hope to see you returning soon. Kind regards, Ginny
Overall a nice experience, but the food was a tiny bit bland. The value for money of the Seasonal Menu was great however! It made us want to buy more drinks :)
Wonderful coffee! Outdoor heaters above each table, very pleasant, great staff and a good location - not too busy but not dead either. Highly recommend.
Great little spot with good fine and very pleasant service
Really nice outdoor space with spaced out 2 people tables. It was great despite the chilly weather.
All the staff were so sweet, prices were decent, service was attentive, even allowed to serve hs breakfast despite it being out of their usual service hours! Best brunch around here.
We had a lovely time despite probably having the worst table there we still enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing & so was the mojito. Oh and the staff where amazing
Dear Natalie, I am delighted to hear you enjoyed the food and service from the team at the restaurant. We wouldn't describe any of the tables as "the worst" but I am sorry if you believe you were not seated at one of the best. We would love to welcome you back, please do get in touch with me directly if you wish to return and I'll make sure you have the best table in the house! Kind regards, Ginny
There were highs and lows with the food. The burrata and lamb were poor, the crab salad and cheese were great, as were the drinks.
The service was good but we were grateful to have the table for two hours.
Dear Steve, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. I am glad to hear the service from our team was good, as were the drinks, however it seems that there is some improvement that we need to make and we will be looking into this over the coming days and weeks. Kind regards, Ginny
Lovely staff, nice location, and great value. Would recommend!
Love the spring menu, good service, good food and good wine!!
Food is extraordinary:
Salmon ceviche - love the avocado dressing, sourness and a hint of spice ;
Lamb shoulder - SUPER tender and rich of flavour;
Madeleine - the best I had so far, crispy inside and SUPER soft inside, still warm when serving, perfect with the cream anglaise.
Love the dessert wine - Moscato!!!
Dear Natalie, Your comments are very kind, thank you for sharing them. We have had fantastic feedback on our spring menu. It is a great option if you are looking for an affordable menu, but with fresh and delicious food! We hope to see you back soon. Kind regards, Ginny
2850 is a great place and I love wines by the glass at 75ml which means you can taste lots of different ones...! Service was very charming but a bit erratic but it's only just opened up again so no doubt they're still coming to terms with the changing landscape (ie COVID nightmare)
Dear Adrian, Many thanks for sharing your comments on our restaurant. We are happy to see your comments on our charming service, thank you for your understand regarding having just opened. It does take a couple of days to get into the swing of outside dining! We hope to see you back with us soon. Kind regards, Ginny
GEORGE was the absolute STAR! He made the whole experience seamless. food was 5* and so was the service. Will definitely be back again soon xx
Dear Anastasia, We agree that George is a star and thank you for your lovely comments on his service! We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Ginny
The only thing that let it down was the service. When my friend and I arrived we were shown to separate tables even though we had a named booking which both of us referenced on arrived. Also asked for a knife after I dropped mine on the floor but it never arrived and I ended up having to eat my starter with just a fork. A real shame as the food was great. Am putting it down to just initial post covid opening issues. Would definitely still return
Hello, Thank you for your review and especially your understanding that the return from the Covid lockdown, and having to serve everyone outside, does cause the odd hiccup. I am very pleased you appreciated the food and we look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Ginny
Everything was perfect. The terrasse was warm enough. The service and the food amazing!
Food is fantastic. Venue was rather busy, so service is a little on the slow side but service staff are friendly and helpful.
Dear Sashley, We are delighted with your comments on the food. We have made various changes to our menu and it appears to have been a hit with our guests. I am sorry you experienced a bit of slow service, it has taken a couple of days to fully get to grips with outside dining (on top of being closed for several months!). Kind regards, Ginny
This was a return visit and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely staff, great service and good food. A little gem in town.
Dear Luisa, We were delighted to have welcomed you again and we hope to see you back soon. Kind regards, Ginny
Service was a tad slow but nothing to complain about. Overall excellent! Lamb shoulder and ceviche were wonderful.
Great food and service. Just good to be able to enjoy great food again
Thick tasteless steaks. 5/6 cooked incorrectly.
Chips almost inedible, as if they’d been salted twice.
Outdoors in the sun. Good example of Mediterranean food and reasonable wine prices. will be visiting again.
Was great with drinks until our food did not arrive for 45 minutes, took us another 10 to get a waiters attention as we were consistently ignored only to be told there was no sign of our order on their system and one meal was now sold out. Thankfully they took these off the bill but overall would not recommend for service.
Dear MC, Thank you for sharing your review, although your comments are disappointing for us. We have been looking into what happened on the day you dined with us as its highly unusual we get reviews like yours. I am, however, sorry we didn't meet expectation on this occasion. We would really like to make it up to you - please get in touch with us and ask for me. Kind regards, Ginny
Lovely day for outdoor dining. The restaurant had blankets available too.
The food was delicious, especially the Steak. Will be coming back again for sure!
Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. A regular haunt.
Food bland and left a lot to be desired. The ceviche for example didn’t have nearly enough acid to be called a ceviche. It was more like sashimi.
Crab salad dry and bland, pea soup bland, the fried artichokes were bitter - seemed like the batter and oil had to do with that.
The best thing was the cod with curried cauliflower purée but that was only relatively better.
We will not be returning - so many other places to choose from.
Dear Dimitris, It seems like on your visit we failed to impress on most aspects of the food which is very disappointing for us. The vast majority of our guests have very much enjoyed our new menu so your comments have come as quite a shock! We would really like you to try us again so we can make it up to you - please get in touch with me (Ginny). Kind regards, Ginny
Excellent wine selection and delicious food. Made for a great evening
