   The miso soup tasted like dishwater The main coarse was like eating rubber The highlite was the sea salt fries delicious for 15 dollars. Forget the desert The very good part was our waitress. She was very good attentive and very helpful. She saved the day

   You must move fish to go here. Sushi was so so. Mozzarella in dough was nasty. Soshito peppers were not good

   Food was cold, tasted like it was made hours or days prior. Truffle Fries were disgusting. It had been more than a year since I last came and this used to be my favorite restaurant. Very disappointed. Won’t come back.

   Service was almost non-existent. The restaurant reached out multiple times to confirm our reservation time. And then when we arrived they did not have the table available for 20 minutes.

    26 Tapas is one of the higher-quality dining experiences on Harding Avenue “kosher row” in Surfside; strong food quality, nice prep and presentation, and usually good service with a smile. That said, there are one or two points of contention; pricing is at a very high premium for what you get, even when taking “kosher” and location into account; $23 for their “Bigan” roll for what is essentially cucumber and avocado roll is a bit steep. Additionally, when they get busy, things can rapidly “fall on the floor”; messy bathrooms, missing items from orders, long delays in order delivery to table are not uncommon when occupancy goes over 85%. Overall, a great experience and worth going…

    Our waiter was superb. Really knew how to explain the menu well. His English was terrific. We shared 3 dishes that were delicious. Ceviche, salmon dumplings and sea bass. Our sweet cocktails were very yummy. Superb although very pricey. Hope to be back soon.

    Our first visit. Food was truly amazing from start to finish except for the branzino. Only major complaint:my daughter kept getting bumped into and her purse knocked over by the staff

    Our experience was excellent! Our waiter, adrien, was charming, attentive and funny. Best of all, he made sure that we were happy and comfortable every step of the way. The food was beyond delicious. The drinks were excellent. The ambiance was also great- the music was not overwhelming and didn’t deter from our meal. We can’t wait to come back!

    Extremely impressed with the cocktails and dessert and appreciate the updated decor. The tables could use a refresh as they feel old and dingy compared to the updated lighting, wall coverings etc. We had a wonderful evening, the service was great, quick and everything delicious. The drinks and desserts were outstandingly beautiful. The hostess was weird though. I asked for a table by the window and she wouldn’t allow us to sit there even though nobody was sitting in either table by the window and they remained empty the whole evening. The restaurant was not packed either so I found it extremely strange and off putting that the hostess refused to give us our table of choice. That was the only negative part of our evening. Everything else was fantastic. Great job updating!

    We have been regulars since Tapas opened. We were very disappointed with the changes made. Portions are smaller not filling and one must order a few things… Menu is limited and doesn’t include kids. Very very rigid staff. It took over 30 minutes after we finished for our plates to be cleared and for us to get a dessert menu. Overall, the place is no longer managed very well.

    This was my 3rd time here and I think they have a new menu. The food is creative and delicious, but not cheap. They have fun cocktails with nonalcoholic options. Our waiter was attentive without being pushy. We ordered the Birds Nest dessert which was a real experience! Chocolate eggs with creamy filling on what looked like an actual nest made of crispy something and chocolate crumbs. Very unique.

    We were not aware that the menu had changed and so were a bit taken aback. Our server suggested 5 tapas each and clearly showed his disappointment when we had 5 between us by being significantly less attentive.

    Service was subpar for expensive restaurant. Food was brought out at very different times; an change made after a few minutes did not arrive until the end of the meal; a drink was served with whipped cream that was not listed on the menu and instead of remaking it, the whipped cream was just taken off with remnants left in the drink and the server was very obnoxious about it.

    Un. Real. Food. Beyond, beyond. Great drinks selection. And brought my 6 year old for our second visit - and she loved the kids menu - and loved having her own roll and had hot chocolate! Very extraordinary sushi.

    This used to be our favorite restaurant in south florida. Last night was our first time in a while, and frankly it was disappointing. The menu has been downsized considerably and we actually had trouble finding things we want. Sushi menu was limited and many of the hot and cold tapas have been removed.
