We go to 26 Beach every NYE on the early side, around 7:30. It’s always festive and fun and the entire menu is available, which is great. I had the Chilean Sea Bass, which was a special, and it absolutely perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server, Silviana was terrific, even though she was incredibly busy. Very attentive with a great personality.
One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Definitely quirky in look and feel but great food. Lots of interesting burgers, including the famous "sushi burgers" but also lots of other choices. Eggplant Parm was a nice recent discovery.
Dinner was so creative & tasty we had to come back for Sunday Lunch. It was another wonderful meal. They make everything fresh from cuality healthy ingredients. Surprising spices that satisfy. We’ll be back.
Cute eclectic vibe, great food. The wait staff was courteous but slammed so service suffered. If you want Sunday brunch definitely get a reservation!
We went for a for Saturday brunch with the ladies and it was perfect with the courtyard seating and all the kitchy girly decorations. They have a huge unique menu that came in large portions. The staff was on point being fast and efficient. Water glasses were always refilled and drinks poured for us. They could have smiled just a tad more but they were appreciated. Great place for a bridal brunch but only outside in the courtyard. There is a long table in for large parties and a few round tables that can fit 6- 8 people.
Food at 26 Beach is consistently great. I have always had an exceptional food experience here. Service ranges a bit. Last night in particular... but it was Sunday. Ambiance is a little funky... we were in a booth in the middle bar area. Not really cohesive in any way with dining room or patio.
Good good, bad date. :)
We've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal at 26 Beach.
Service was bad. We were seated in the back and I think they forgot about us. We had to ask for water and service. They took quite a bit of time to provide our meals. Dessert took forever to get and it was only scoops of ice cream. Ambiance was cute. Food was fine.
Excellent service and food. Pleasant ambience indoors or in covered patio
Such a cute place with good food. Great for brunch
Always have dependably great food whenever we go to 26 Beach. Fun atmosphere and super service.
The food was incredible; very tough deciding between eggs or French toast but picked a spicy egg dish and loved every bite!!!!
A very unique local restaurant that has very friendly service and a creative menu.
Loved the food, menu is incredible. Our waitress, I believe her name was
Alyceeia, was amazing, and a great deal of fun. She made the evening special !!
The food is great, the service is even better. Never disappointed when I eat here.
26 Beach is ALWAYS delicious!!! Great ambiance, great service and amazing dishes. This place NEVER disappoints.
26 Beach is our go-to meeting place for my friends. I drive from the OC and my friends are in the Valley and Thousand Oaks. Yes, it's worth the drive. Food and service are always great. We had the tortilla chips with sauce, cheese and fried eggs on top. We added a side of mixed berries. Add a cup of cappuccino, and it's a perfect breakfast. The only negative thing I've noticed recently is the annoying flies that buzz around. What's up with that?
Great service great food. Great decor, great energy. Good drinks
Omg burger is oh so good, always hits the spot. Wish they served fries with a yogurt based dipping sauce instead of ketchup...for this burger.
The food was not good. The service was poor. Was not a fan
It was my wife’s and I, 1 year anniversary! She absolutely love the restaurant and we were even inspired to do some similar decor in our patio lol. Over all GREAT experience. The food was AMAZING and the service was INCREDIBLE!
Yummy food and great service.
Great for brunch or lunch.
A little pricey.
The waitress was very rude
We have gone to this restaurant for many years. Maybe it was an off night, but the service was horrible and after 20 minutes, one of our guests finally got his meal (hamburger). The waitress never came over to see if we needed anything, so we had to track someone down to tell them we were still waiting. We had wanted to order dessert, as they are well known for their bread pudding. We were told it was too hot to make any desserts, so they only had ice cream and sorbet. (??) In addition, the AC wasn't working well and we were told that it was because 'too many bodies' were in one place. I wouldn't rush back there. Something was going on...we even wondered if they were closing.
It was just "fair" would not return for dinner. Good for lunch
Wait time of 30 minutes even though we had a reservation.
Fun place to meet friends for dinner and a drink. We had the rose mohito...really nice! Huge menu with lots of choices.
The food is always good at 26 Beach, but have noticed that the portion size (particularly for the scramble dishes) has decreased from what it always was in the past. I used to go there more often as I lived in the area. We were seated in the "add-on" room and we found it to be a bit loud. The service was very slow. No one checked back with us to find out if we wanted anything and we had to wait more than 20 minutes just to get our check. We also asked three times for boxes to take our leftover home. Always enjoyed 26 Beach, but not sure I'll make it a priority to return.
good for brunch. i like that it takes reservations! seated immediately. service a bit slow
A deep menu of unique items. The burgers are big, juicy, and tasty with a good char on the meat patty. It certainly contends for the "Best Burger in LA" title.
First time back in awhile. Some of the menu had changed....missed my favorite fish tacos. But still plenty of good burgers.
The service was a little less than professional. The waitress didn't seem all that familiar with the menu. Once she interrupted herself in mid-sentence to speak to someone at another table. One salad came before the appetizers and why did it take ten minutes to bring a glass of wine to the table? (It wasn't that busy).
It is a room out of a Kate Spade house! Food was very good and our waiter was excellent. We had a great time catching up with our daughter and her friend. Everyone there at the other tables were totally engaged with each other and their food. All the waiters and waitresses were very attentive and respectful. You will love it!
Great place. I have been before and it didn't disappoint. The waiter was fantastic.
This place is so cute! Lots of Chanel decor and pretty umbrellas. It’s very girly. There’s a less girly side but I wanted all the frills!
Have the frose - it’s bottomless for breakfast. The French toast was amazing. Even the coffee is good here! I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
Amazing brunch spot!!
This is a fun, beachy restaurant with a nice selection of California fare.
Large and very unusual menu. I would go back if we are in the area. We went there because it is very convenient to LAX so it’s good to keep in mind when you are traveling.
Love coming to Beach 26 & trying one of their many menu options (seriously though, the menu is huge). I had always come for brunch before as they have endless French toast options (on top of 2 other pages of breakfast entrees) but for Mother's Day we went for the burgers and they were great. The O.M.G. burger features peanut butter, jelly & bananas which sounds strange but it was delicious. Also recommend the Date burger.
Atmosphere is very cute & Coco Chanel themed. Accents of pink, flowers, & sparkle everywhere as far as the "patio" goes. (I've never eaten on the other side of the restaurant.) Perfect place for special occasions or just grabbing a good meal.
