24 grille was very nice ...just a little loud but it was a nice Atmosphere and to make things better danny Glover sat across from us.
Overall nice restaurant
The food was amazing as were the beverages!! Our waiter “Z” was also great!!
I could've wait to visit & was really excited to make it to Happy Hour. Only issue was parking downtown as usual. I can't wait to revisit and order the lobster mac n cheese & lamb chop appetizers!
Took a minute to get seated but service was fine after that. Food was good not great but about what I expected.
The food was great, just had a problem getting a servers and no one explained process when were seated.
This restaurant is fine. The food and service were good but the menu was a bit limited. They used to have ribs on the menu but no longer and the steak was seasoned with coffee and although the server told us that we wouldn’t be able to notice the coffee flavor, it was definitely noticeable. As it should be—why would you season something only for the seasoning to be unnoticeable? At any rate, the seasoning was not to my daughter’s taste.
Great service, food , and staff. Thanks 24 Grille
Excellent food combined with excellent service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the choices and asked about our tastes so she could proper recommendations. High recommend this place!
Great food! Great setting!
Drove into Detroit for a special valentines dinner at 24Grille and ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I have had.
We were quick to be seated, decent distance away from bar so noise level was not bad. But the dining area was very cold and drafty. Wear a sweater!
Waitress greeted us pretty quick and asked if we wanted drink. She said told my wife everything was over priced and not good except the peach-tini. So she orders a peach tini, I ordered long island.
When our drinks came back she asked us if we are ready to order our entrees yet... umm no we just sat down...
So we order an app of the kale artichoke dip. As soon as our app comes out the waitress asks again if we are ready yet and says she wants to get the order in before it gets busy... Again, No we just got our appetizer and are enjoying our drink with it...
She keeps pushing us to order our entree so finally we cave and both order the braised beef short rib.
A few minutes pass and we still enjoying first drink and our appetizer (now about half gone) and our entree comes out. Looks good but we aren't even done with our app let alone ready for the entree.
Waitress comes by asks us if we want another drink? ours are clearly still half full and now we have a full entree and half appetizer on our table. We decline and she goes away for a bit. Then a few bites later our waitress comes back and drops off the bill on our table and says whenever we are ready. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
I just ignored it and let it sit but she came back asking if it was ready. We are literally trying to enjoy our valentines meal and she drops a check half way through.
She then said that shes been there “all day” so shes trying to cash out before she leaves... totally unacceptable. She wanted us to get done and out as fast as possible so she could get her money.
No handover to a new waiter, no asking about desert, we literally paid half way thru our meal. We left and will not go back.
We were seated by the window, very chilly and a little drafty at times, but wine warmed us up. Short ribs and risotto was delicious, the kale and artichoke dip with pita was very rich and cheesy, too filling before a meal, but delicious. Service was attentive, but not eager to hurry us out, which we like, we were able to relax and enjoy all courses at our leisure.
Outstanding!!
Food And service was outstanding. The service kept checking to make sure that you are okay and if you need anything. The chef William even came out to check on the food and asked us if everything was okay. I thought that was very special. The manager I can't remember his name, but he was wonderful and made us feel at home. Love this Sunday brunch I've been telling everyone about it.
Very accommodating as we were limited in our time for dinner. Large wedge salad nicely split so we each could enjoy half. Salmon dinner was very good as was the filet. Service was top notch!
Very nice atmosphere, we had a wonderful server, food was absolutely delicious! All 4 of us had to wait a long time for food to be served and 1 extra time. Hopefully just slow night in the kitchen, but almost missed our show time.
The food was average, but they were short staff. It wasn't that the service was poor, its just that it took them a while to get to us.
This is a place I used to go to more often when in Detroit for business. This time? Meh...across all categories. Won’t be back...
I love their Sunday brunch buffet. The wait staff was wonderful as usual.
It was cool
The kale and cheese dip was very good. It came with fried bread to dip, which was good. The sea bass was good, but not the best I've had. Overall, I thought it was reasonably priced food, decent quality, good atmosphere.
Great food and service
quick service , good food ,not cheap however.Waiter was excellent
Great food, good service and nice atmosphere
Christmas Eve family dinner. Food was great but entrees over priced. No vegetarian choice besides soup or salad. Great location to Campus Martius Park. Nice ambiance.
Had to tell servers that food was ready to be picked up from cook. Very slow service
Our server was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our food.
Awful experience. Took over an hour to get our food. Everyone was rude and the food was awful! I will never come back due to the lack of respect and overall treatment.
I did not appreciate having to reserve with a credit card nor did I appreciate having to wait at the hostess stand for 10 minutes upon arrival. The manager seated us but had an unprofessional and unpleasant attitude. The appetizer (kale and cheese dip) was delicious but the short rib entree was mediocre at best.
Love this restaurant! The food is great! We always request the waiter “Z”! His customer service skills are outstanding! Drinks are great!
Food was good although a bit overpriced. Noisy but cozy. Service was spotty. As a business traveler, it is convenient when staying at hotel.
I was in town for the holiday and met my best girl friends for brunch and we had a ball. The mimosas were perfect! Our waiter Ben kept them coming he was amazing! If you're looking for a really nice restaurant for Sunday brunch, girls night, date night or a family affair 24 Grille is it. Everyone we encountered was exceptionally nice. What are you waiting for...make those reservations!
The food was ok. The drinks were poorly made for the high price.
This was one of my worst dining experiences ever. We had reservations in advance because we could walk there to celebrate Thanksgiving. Earlier in the day they were unable to tell me the specials for the holiday. Despite there there being very few patrons our service was terrible. I specified no onions and even made jokes with the waitress about it.... and onions came on on my salad. I sent it back and a nice salad was returned. Despite this extra time my son’s full Cesar salad had yet to arrive, and when it did it was much smaller than the other two of my guests who ordered the same salad. I ordered the holiday special with gravy on the side ... arrived with gravy on the turkey, ham, Mac&cheese. I returned it. My new plate came out and the food was cool to the touch and had tinfoil mixed in. I asked for the manager and she apologized and said they had a large party in a back room (I made reservations- why accept holiday reservations if you are not staffed?). By this time my guests were done eating so asked that she remove my dinner from the bill. She this and offer of compensation was to offer to still give me the cobbler. Such an awful experience. They did not even offer to cover my Diet Coke. For such a beautiful hotel this place demonstrated poor quality and management. Literally my worst dining experience in Detroit. One of my guests had a burger ordered medium and it was well done and difficult to him to chew (I did not even bother commenting on this to anyone because I wanted that part of our Thanksgiving to end.
Good place to grab drinks and food before any event downtown. The staff is always friendly and food is always delicious. I wish the portions was a little bigger, but that’s where appetizers come in to order. I never feel like the entrees be enough to fill me up,
The food was great but some items were overpriced. A 3-piece jumbo shrimp with greens was $15. Excellent presentation and taste. Indicated a special occasion on my Open Table booking but no one mentioned it at the restaurant.
Food was amazing. The bottomless mimosas were even better! Will definitely be back!
The food , music, and drinks were great. I reall y enjoyed the atmosphere.
I was running a little late, so I called in to let them know, and they said okay. I got there, and the hosted said that she didn't see a reservation under my name, and it was nothing she could do cause it was crowded. Luckily I knew the person who was throwing the get together because she let me in.
We liked the ambience very much. People very cool. Uimited Mimosa and good brunch.
We will come back again.
