Service was excellent, steaks were great, but sides could have been much better, veggies were so overcooked they were pretty inedible.
Very clean.

The piano/ horn player was amazing. I would come back just to listen to him. The service was absolutely terrible and the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. The prime rib was ok, the crab legs were crumbly dry as was the fish and everything else was quite salty. Our server and the other servers working the buffet were just plain distant and rude. This was suppose to be our 20th anniversary dinner, which I included on our reservations but not on mention of it at the restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend and won’t be coming back.

Stayed at The Abbey for a girls weekend. We went here around 9:00 on a Saturday and there was only 2-3 other tables. I ordered bacon and over medium eggs. They came out WAY over cooked at over hard. Sent them back (after all, it was like $13 for bacon and eggs!). They came back and weren’t much better. My sister ordered the omelette and it came out RAW inside. Gag! Sent that back and it never came back out until we all were finished eating. She just ate our leftovers. When the “manager” finally did bring it out (server never came by to tell us what was going on NOR did she send a manager over as we were waiting) we said we didn’t want it since we now had to leave, as we had appointments for the spa. While I know the cooking isn’t the servers fault, she should have asked a manager to come speak with us right away and never did. We ended up driving 10 minutes to a local diner on Sunday. WAY better food, service and value. Sad that such a nice place has such bad management, cooking skills and is over priced. Won’t go back.

Did the three course dinner and was tasty. For the main course, the salmon was nice and moist.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast, but arrived too late and had the brunch. Very good buffet selections and bottomless Mimosas! Tom Stanfield on piano (and flugelhorn, simultaneously!) was fabulous!

We recently celebrated our anniversary here and were somewhat disappointed.
Although we enjoy casual/rustic, it was a bit less sophisticated than we'd hoped. The food was decent, not great. The atmosphere bordered on obnoxious, not simply "lively".
The structure and the view were stunning and might be enough of a draw - along with the rather good server we had - to bring us back for another try.

Waiter must've had a lot of other tables was 30 min between visits. Food was below average and sides were terrible. Baked potato was undercooked. Surf and turf was disappointing. Salad and app were decent.

Being dairy free options were a tad limited which didn't help my personal experience but everything was good. Not outstanding or above and beyond for what I expect out of fine dining at a prestigious resort.

Reserved table for 2 for dinner and used the Saturday night buffet option. Prime rib was very tasty and had a good choice of rare vs. medium well done pieces. Salad plates had wide choice but having the server fill the plate was a bit awkward (required for COVID separation). Had to communicate what to add and how much of each. Only one vegetable option (mixed) was pretty good and the pasta choices were very good. Wine choices were fair, but well-priced and a good value. Service was spotty - very responsive and engaging when there, but sometimes nowhere to be found. View out over the lawn and boat docks on the lake was very nice as evening fell. Piano player had a very nice series of selections and volume wasn't overbearing. We sat literally next to the piano and it wasn't a problem. Would recommend and will return.

We never ate. The table was beat up and slightly dirty, we were seated next to a table of small children which I don't normally mind but the restaurant was nearly empty. The menu looked expensive in comparison to the atmosphere of the restaurant

We went for their breakfast buffet but unfortunately it was just not the same and totally not worth the price since covid. First they only have 1/4 the options, second they serve you, so if you want more than 2 slices of bacon on the worlds smallest plate, you’ll have to make several trips, third no more dessert unless you ask the server. Our server said she would get it and just never came back. She was also incredibly slow and ignored us. If you’re not drinking you’ll still pay the same $27. So expensive and not worth it.

We’ve come for the Prime Rib Buffet over the past several years, unfortunately this time we were not as happy as in past visits. I am empathetic to the current restrictions of COVID-19. However, I do not feel that the meal we experienced tonight, was up to par with our previous experiences with the Saturday evening buffets. The overall buffet selection was limited compared to past dining experiences, and not up to our expectations for the price. Tonight we brought 4 guests with us, and have included this dinner as part of our current vacation stay at the Abbey. Overall, we enjoyed the environment, the wait staff and the music, but the meal was not a good value, and below my expectations of past experiences here.

I loved the ambience in the restaurant with pianist and the view of the water. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the fruit including pineapple and watermelon, the bacon and prime rib and the waffles. They had bottomless mimosas which were great. However my favorite part was the made to order omelette. It was huge. I loved the waiter, Jack, whom had a great sense of humor. We loved it all and would highly recommend this restaurant. I haven't been able to stop talking about it. We can't wait to go back.

Very disappointing experience. It took over 10 minutes for our waitress to come to our table once we were seated. The servers at the buffet were completely unorganized. The Servers also didn’t offer the cracker/fork for the crab legs. Our server also brought us our bill when were were not even ready to leave.
