Thank you for joining us in ringing in the New Year. On December 31, we will be serving a Price Fixe menu and the price per guest is $200. We will not be serving the regular menu. Unfortunately, there is no price break for children. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged the full amount.

Quiet and comfortable environment. Food is wonderful with great inventivity and refinement. This is certainly a big change from the other good restaurants in Telluride that are much more conventional and somewhat booring.
Prices seemed very reasonable to me
We went here for my birthday dinner. The atmosphere was weird and super quiet.
This place is not worth the money. I ordered a filet and they cut it in half- like butterflied two pieces of meat. I have never been to a restaurant that ruins a cut of beef tenderloin by halving it and charting both sides of the meat.
The potatoes and Swiss chars seemed microwaved and over salted.
Seriously a disappointment. Waste of money.
Wonderful food and service. A terrific last brunch of the season
This is a cozy, lovely little place, always one of our favorite dining venues in Telluride. The food and service never disappoint. It is pricey, but worth the investment for a wonderful dining experience.
Have eaten here number of times. Capable of producing the best food in Telluride, but also the worst. Too many dishes on the menu for the kitchen to manage consistently. Too many ingredients in most of the dishes. Prices keep creeping up as do the number of bad meals. Dishes have been served ice cold from the refrigerator. Asked about these and the response is always the same - "that's how the chef has chosen to serve them". That's nice, but bone marrow or sausage need to be warm (if not hot). Braised food should be cooked through.
Chef Eliza and her team put together a beautiful dining experience for our large group. Sommelier, Luke was also great. Thank you! We will definitely be back.
I recently had dinner at 221 oak with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Our server Greta was warm, friendly and attentive. We had a salad and bone marrow which was a tad disappointing as it did not yield a lot of product for the price. Our entrees were a venison osso bocco and the boar tenderloin. Both delicious and filling. We had a vegan “cheesecake” which was nutty and not too sweet. Overall the dinner was exactly what I wanted but the price was a little high. However, chef came out and greeted several tables and you could tell she really cares about her patrons and their experiences. I would def recommend this place for a special occasion and would return!
Great menu with large selection of entrees that seem to change with the seasons. My husband had the wild boar sirloin and it was phenomenal! Super tender and paired with a great mixture of veggies and plums. Fried green tomatoes were delicious as well. Service was on point and backyard seating area with the lighted trees is so cozy and romantic. Highly recommend this gem and can't wait to go back and try other dishes!

Excellent little place the food is great as is the atmosphere. The service was great. My only complaint is the lack of affordable wines by the glass.
The service was horrible. The server inattentive and seldom came around. We ordered halibut as an entree and 40 minutes after we had ordered it, it still want out. Halibut takes 8 minutes to cook. The restaurant wasn’t swamped being about 2/3 full, no one at the bar and no one waiting for a table so there was no excuse for the service.
Our waitress had an attitude that made the experience unpleasant. Too bad because we were excite to try this place. The food was very good.
We had a most enjoyable experience. Great food, appetizers on the outside porch, fun staff and an overall pleasant experience. We will return!
Outstanding experience as we have had before - the food was creative and superb and customer service both getting a reservation and in the restaurant was courteous, prompt, friendly and enthusiastic.

We had a wonderful meal here. The menu was creative and extensive with so many options we had trouble deciding what to order. The food was superb; the zucchini, sesame and radish fritters were my favourite. Service was professional and warm

Every dish was amazing. My salmon was done perfectly and the duck prosciutto appetizer was so good that I finished the entire dish even though I meant to share it!

This is an excellent restaurant that we look forward to visiting every year during the Telliuride Film Festival. The only thing keeping 221 from being outstanding is the service. The staff is not very well trained; tends to rush diners; does not share information well; and is relatively unenthusiastic. The host was particularly dismissive when we hesitated over a questionable bottle of wine. All that said, the food is outstanding!!
Amazing foodie restaurant with an incredibly creative vegetarian menu. Great cocktails, too! Would come back in a heartbeat.
The wine list is extensive but expensive. There are no "lower" price options. Wine is about $20 a glass. Food was very good with vegetarian options.

Lovely neighborhood gem. Delicious food. Our waiter was very friendly, but was not able to explain the specials clearly. He may have been new. We had a lovely meal. It would have been nice if they offered the birthday dessert at no charge, and put a candle in the cake. Otherwise, just perfect. We will return!
We love to have brunch at 221. Years ago Wolfgang Puck awarded a winning round to Eliza Gavin on national television because her omelette was so perfect ! It still is! Her blueberry muffins are great too . Luke is doing an outstanding job of managing a top-notch team of people . We will be sad when branch season is over !
Great evening to mark a special anniversary. We’ve been several times before and had outstanding food every time., We had a beautiful table up front, yummy food as always, nice attentive server. Preordered gf cake was spectacular! Thanks for making my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration great.

A table for 6 on back side porch was quiet, out of the way, and yet we never had to search for a waiter. Food is interesting, but not too far out. Vegetarian menu a real bonus. Brown butter cake the best!
Went here on the recommendation of a friend as we had never been to Telluride before. We were there for the annual Telluride Jazz Festival, so having dinner at 221 South Oak made for a nice ending to our very nice day of Jazz. Our food, wine, service, and the overall ambience were all excellent. The restaurant is set in a house off South Oak St., making for a lovely setting. While a bit pricey, by comparison to other Telluride restaurants, it was definitely worth it. Would both highly recommend this restaurant to a friend and definitely return the next time we’re in town. Do note that reservations are highly advised depending on the season.
Wine list is terribly expensive. Would be nice to have a few more reasonably priced choices.
Food is delicious, and a nicely varied menu. Not a very kid friendly place, but that’s fine by us!
