   We celebrated our 48th anniversary at 211 Clover Lane. It exceeded our expectations! The salmon was delicious ... crispy exterior and moist interior. Perfect! You must try the brussel sprout salad. It was fabulous. My husband had the halibut. He loved it, too.

   The former version of 211 Clover Lane was much better. While most of the food was good, my salmon was old and the piece was, frankly, too small to cost as much as it did. The salad was great, as well as the dressing. The panini was clunky and did not have enough ingredients in it. Risotto was wonderful! Chicken salad had too much mayo. I hope they turn things around because I love this place.

    Rough beginning… the noise level was so bad we asked to be moved to a quieter location. The restaurant was. Wry accommodating of this request. Service and food were excellent.

    No designated server. Busboy who opened our wine just poured without my husband tasting. He ended up as our waiter. We never had anyone else check on our table. Menu said warmed Brussel sprouts they were actually fried. Salad was small and had very little Parmesan Cheese. My husband did like his Bolognese. Overall disappointing. The renovation ideas not great. Miss the old Clover Lane and the wonderful staff.

    The buiding was nice. We ended up sitting next to a dried cotton plant on the wall. That gave me a plantation vibe, but we weren't too put off by it. The food definitely was not bad, but it did need salt. Abel, our server, disappeared for very long stretches of time. Fortunately, the other servers helped us out with things we needed, or it would've been a less pleasurable experience. There were servers providing good service, but our person wasn't one of them. If you got one of the better servers, and didn't like much salt, you could have a good exprerience here.

    It was awful. It took almost an hour to even get asked if we wanted something to drink. When you walk in there is no designated place to go to check in. We sat at the bar and after 20 min a guy came over and said he would clear a table and to give him 2 minutes. 30 minutes later he came back to us and said he forgot about us. The place seemed like it could really be a cool eclectic type of restaurant but I will never go back again. Just a bad experience all around. Food was ok…

    Birthday celebration. And we got there early because my mom is almost 90 So we wanted to get her home early. When we arrived the restaurant was essentially empty. From that point we had some of the worst service that I’ve experienced in years. It was sad because there’s nobody else to take care of. We sat around the table and questioned if our waiter was even supposed to be our waiter because he was so disconnected from the service. We had to stand up twice to go find him to order drinks an order dinner. I tried to call later that night to give some constructive feedback, and It got worse. The person that answered the phone simply said “hello”, nothing else. When I asked to speak to a manager he gave me to another person which I think was a bartender based on the noise. Neither one of them was clearly capable of taking care of the phone call. They told me there was not a manager available, so if the restaurant manager is reading list I want you to know that in case you were there last night. I’m leaving this review because I care about the restaurant and I want them to know so they can improve and thrive. If any other customers have this experience they would feel the same way and I don’t want this to become the reputation. Our waiter needs serious retraining

    Has become our favorite restaurant. Ambiance is amazing with small number of tables invv bceach room so noise level is very low. Service was attentive. Food is excellent. Highly recommend.

    The food was excellent! The service was great! Our only concern was the very, very overpriced drinks. Two martinis were $24 but there was a $6 charge added for an unknown reason PLUS $4 for four olives. That brought the cost up to $34 - literally $2 bucks less than the cost of my meal! That's New York prices - not Louisville, KY.
