If I'm up in Whistler, I make a point of getting the Smoked Chicken Pasta at 21 Steps!

Food was great--drinks, salads, entrees, and desserts! Service was great. One of the best meals I've had in Whistler in the past 5 years coming here.

This is not a restaurant. It is a pub that is in a great location. We were greeted by a guy who was abrupt and unfriendly. The strong stale “pub smell” was the first thing we noticed. It’s a lively very noisy room. Food and drinks came very fast. We ordered a small plate but did not stay because the food was very unappetizing. Overall very disappointing. The service was efficient.

Salads were excellent, mains were good, but none were hot enough. Sitting too long before delivering??

Once again food was great! 5 out of 6 courses were delicious, one just wasn't my taste. Most of the cocktails were great as well, except my old fashioned which was sub par unfortunately.

Great service as well, friendly new host and server was top notch.

Wow! We were all so pleased with our meals. The 3-course menu deal is a steal and hits every palate and dietary need right on point! Pretty sure we were saying “mmm” every 5 seconds. This place is warm, cozy, and quite the neighbourhood gem! The price is right, the food is delicious, the service is great.

I have been to 21 Steps for multiple special occasions and have never been disappointed! The three course meal option is such an incredible value, and the food is always amazing. We will be back, and we will always recommend this location to our friends and family when they're heading to Whistler! I would recommend making a reservation however if your group is larger than 2!

My family and I had a great dinner at 21 Steps! The service was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive, even though it was a busy night. Delicious food and wine!! Would recommend to anyone =)

Stick to the tapas/small plates. They were the most enjoyable and worth the money. The fries goat cheese was amazing and the broth on the curry mussels was heavenly. We were not impressed with the large plates; The shitznel was bland and burnt and the lamb though cooked right was also bland and sauce was weird and bitter.

Place was beautiful and quiet, and they had a great deal on a Fall 3 course meal. Unfortunately the Ribs my girlfriend ordered for her entree was completely unedible due to being overly salty and mushy. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she admitted they had been having lots of problems with the brining process. She had them take the item off the menu for the evening, and didn't charge us for them, so we really couldn't ask for them to do any more. Wonderful and friendly server, and I would absolutely recommend to anyone, as the rest of the meal was amazing.

My wife and I tried this restaurant pretty much around the time we started dating and we were greatly surprised by its food and everything thing else ( mind it was 5 years ago when we first visited this restaurant) and ever since our first time we have been waiting for that “first” impression we experienced back then.

This week we spent a few days in the village and our choice for the first night was 21 steps...

We were hoping for a better experience than what we had... had to change my appetizer cause was not good...

We decided it may be time to pass on this restaurant next time and for a while...

Regards

Excellent food quality and great service. Paid very special attention to a peanut allergy, kept us informed. Knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. Had mussels and NY striploin. Amazing. Creme brule was perfect. Awesome 3 course menu options.

We celebrated a 60th birthday party here. It was fabulous. The round table seated everyone so we could all visit and chat, the drinks were great, the food fantastic and our waiter was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, great service!!

Fall special 3 course meal -- great price!!

Best for smaller groups - most of the tables along the window with view are for 2 people. Tables in the middle for 4+ people are a bit squished together. Otherwise....everything else is amazing. I would definitely go back here again!

Food was delicious. Great menu and we were able to take part in the three course menu for $39. Was really good value. Service for drinks was really slow and our water wasn't topped up once. Ambience fun and if seated by the window would be able to look down and watch people walking in the village. Despite slow service would still recommend
