This was a fantastic meal. Service and food were delicious.
Really enjoyed the food. The prices were also very reasonable. I would highly recommend for dinner
Great asian-influenced starters and mains. A nice mix of unique flavours that appeal to both picky eaters and foodies alike.
Been to 21 steps before. About 1 yr ago. It was really good. Fantastic meal. This time I did not like it. Too much sauce on chicken. Didn't like the mash potatoes. Was not tasty at all. I will not be going back.
Had a lovely meal with great attentive service. My steak was perfect and I loved the brownie dessert too (you need a sweet tooth ‘cause it’s sweet!) Seafood linguine was great; Caesar salad was good nothing exceptional; but the black bean chowder was quite nice. Will definitely go back again. Thank you😊
Had a great bday gathering
A bit noisy but overall was good food
Excellent food, friendly staff. Good choice on the menu. Would recommend; especially the chocolate brownie!
I live in Pemberton, and 21 Step is definitely my favourite “Village Restaurant” to get together on a date, or with friends!
The food was great, but a few dishes were ok.
Overall, we will definitely go back!
Extremely noisy and the service startup took quite long.
We had a wonderful experience at 21 Steps. The food was amazing and the service was great. Highly recommend.
One of our best dinners in Whistler Village. Definitely a good find, with good food and good service. Would recommend it and would go again when we come back. Get the Pork papadelle dish, yum!!
Had a wonderful waitress who offered candid and worthwhile advice on menu offerings.
We enjoyed the Bison Steak and the Duck and Lamb Cassoulet- both well prepared and presented. Perfect to refuel after a big day on the mountain. Also enjoyed a BC Pinot noir.
Decent food, friendly service, good space, reasonably priced
disappointing value. Beef short ribs were tough. Expected more and better for the cost. Typical for resort setting.
Good overall experience. Reservations a must to avoid a long wait during peak days. Service was prompt and attentive, Garlic Chili Shrimp appetizer was more garlic than heat but still good flavour. Filet and Beef short rib were both cooked very well. Thanks to the chef and staff for a good dining experience.
Underwhelming! Prawn appetizer was good but the rest of the meal was average at best. My son said the smoked chicken in his pasta dish tasted like hot dogs and he maybe finished 1/2 his meal (very unlike my foodie son)! My dish, the cassoulet, was unlike any cassoulet I had ever had. It had mashed potatoes underneath (not listed on the menu) and mooshy vegetables on top that looked like they were from a bag. Not to mention, the duck was just ok. Would not recommend the food at all. Pricey for the quality of food we received! Won’t be recommending this restaurant to friends. Try Bar Oso or Hunters and Gatherers.
Muy rico y acogedor. Los precios de acuerdo a la calidad de los platillos. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
Very enjoyable evening, great food and ambiance, a regular for us
Excellent food. Great service for us and our kids. Book ahead and enjoy. ...
On our second visit to Whistler in the past year, one of the things we looked forward to was returning to 21 Steps for dinner. We brought our friends this time and had a wonderful meal!
Great food and service
We were made very uncomfortable by numerous suggestions to rush through our meal. It was very busy and you felt like they wanted to you out asap to get someone else at the table.
This was one of our 'go to' places but not after this disappointing evening!
Made reservations well in advance which I highly recommend as this is a very popular place. they do keep about 30% of the times open for walkins but be prepared to wait. We got seated right away at a table for two by the window. Excellent view down the village stroll and the snow coming down topped it off. Service was excellent and just the right amount of attention as it was a romantic date. appys, cocktails and meal were excellent. My date was very impressed with my choice of restaurant, where we were seated and the meal. I also came hear 4 weeks later with 5 friends and again we had excellent service and food. very good value for what you pay.
We have eaten at this restaurant a number of times over the years when in Whistler and always thought it was a little gem. We were disappointed this year though by the rushed service and saltiness of the food. I know it’s a popular spot but it felt like there was a rush to turn tables and get the next diners in. The portion sizes also seemed smaller on the main plates.
Service was good and they were able to get us a table ahead of our reservation time. We ordered a steak dinner and the short rib special which with were both mediocre and a little cold. Food could use some attn.
Great homely style food
Plenty of it and great flavours
The food was delicious but the menu was a little limited as to sides. All entrees are served with the same sides. Overall it was a good experience.
Entrees came over rice, which was not described on the menu and was surprising to us since we’re trying to avoid grains. A dish tiger prawns and scallops came with small shrimps and small scallops, not what we expected. Understand they are trying to make a profit but if they can’t do so with tiger prawns and scallops they should make dishes with Elsa expensive ingredients.
Great restaurant, attentive staff, great food and good ambiance.
The host was on the ball and the servers attentive without being too intrusive.
The food was excellent. It is important to make a reservation before your trip. We had one, but liked the food so much we wanted to go back, but everything was booked up.
Whenever I go to Whistler I always book to go to 21 Steps. The menu is creative and with plenty of variety. My biggest issue is I always want to try more dishes than I can physically eat, which usually ensures another visit within days! A great place, lovely and knowledgeable staff, and nice wine list.
Climb the "21 Steps" to the second floor! You'll be happy you did! The Bison Ribeye Steak was cooked to prefection.
Birthday dinner! It was fabulous as always!
My son and I had the bison steak and he had salad with kale and I had the squash soup. All of it was delicious.
The patrons were a younger more my sons age (twenties). It was a happening place.
Every time we go to Whistler qe book 21 Steps because it is usually one of our favourite places to eat. This last visit was not so great. While the service and ambiance were great like usual, our food came out WAY too fast and seemed like it was precooked and had been quickly reheated to serve. We were seated at 7pm and by 730pm had already been served drinks, appetizers, main entrees, and dessert! None of which was flavorful or fresh like their usual food in prior years. We had planned for a romantic dinner and were disappointed with the "fast food" experience. I know they are trying to seat as many tables as possible but hope I hope the food goes back to the way it used to be!
Amazing server. Food was outstanding. Loved the ambiance. Will be back again! Wish this restaurant was back home!
Hervorragendes Essen, guter Wein. Preis - Leistung passt.
Ein paar Tische weniger im Raum wäre schön gewesen.
Alles in allem echt gut.
