21 Spices is a must! The food was so delicious. Our server was genuinely friendly, attentive and was extremely knowledgeable about the food, cocktails and wine. The restaurant is beautiful. This was the first time my husband and I have eaten Indian food! It will certainly be difficult to beat our experience! We both agree the Saffron Chicken Khorma is one of the best dishes we have ever eaten!

My go to place for Indian food / something out of the ordinary for Naples . I always bring out of town family members and friends to this restaurant . Great authentic food for fish lovers , vegans , lamb chop lovers - really for anything . Great wine list also . One of my top 5 restaurants including my favorites on 5th and 3rd st .

Our service was outstanding from our knowledgeable waiter, to the bus boys&girls, and even included Chef Asif who stopped by our table to ascertain if we were enjoying his food. The 21Spices vodka martini is a special drink ... the flavor was superior to most other vodka specials we’ve experienced. The Chef’s Appetizer lamb chops were so delicious we ordered a second round! Since Indian Food is rated the highest (10) of all types of “Flavors” you’ll find sophisticated diners returning often to 21 Spices on East Trail.

This was my first time at 21 Spices. The food was prepared and served beautifully. I am not used to the flavors which are used but it is definitely worth trying if you're adventurous. My shrimp appetizer was quite bland but my steak with peppers and onions was very spicy which I enjoyed. Service was terrific!

We have dined at 21 Spices with friends at least every other week for the past 3 months. I love the spicy vegan options, my wife likes the salmon not so spicy. The food reminds me of the time we spent in India before we were married. Very authentic. Good wine list. Good summer special.

A very pleasant suprise. We are locals, and this was our first visit. The dining room was very comfortable, with very unique decor. Our server was very helpful and knowledgable with the menu. We recommend everyone to try this restaurant and be as pleasantly suprised as we were.

We went to 21 Spices for our 30th Anniversary. We've been there many times before, but it seemed like the perfect spot for our special occasion. We had our little dog with us, who we wanted to be a part of the celebration. The staff was so welcoming of all three of us, including our doggie Miss Kirbie, who loves to dine out. Because she was with us we ate on the patio, where it was brutally hot but we had the entire patio to ourselves. Unfortunately, 21 Spices can't control the weather!!! We loved our server Yvonne, who checked on us constantly, made great suggestions, and kept the wine flowing. We chose a lovely French Sauvignon Blanc, which by most Naples standards was very affordable. We started with the crispy spinach as I call it, which is a real delicacy. It's like eating popcorn...you can't get enough or stop!!! We also had the small vegetarian samosas...yummy. For entrees, my hubby had the rack of lamb, which he has had before, and raved about it as he gnawed the bones!!! I chose the grouper in a coconut, green sauce over asparagus, and it was just perfect, as was the basmati rice. Kirbs had the child's grilled chicken plate and basmati rice! For dessert, we were surprised by a beautiful piece of "Indian cake" with Happy Anniversary written on the plate in an accompanying sauce. What can we say, but that 21 Spices is not the Star of India, but the Five Stars of India (in Naples). It is a truly hidden gem, off the beaten path, but so worth the few extra miles from downtown.

I always choose 21 Spices when it is MY turn to choose the restaurant because I am vegetarian and I LOVE Indian food. That said, my dude and my dad seem to love it just as much as I do. Our last visit was for my 50th Birthday. My dad had (I think it was a lamb shank? and my guy had lamb something that looked like ribs?) I don't know. I haven't eaten meat in over 30 years but they LOVED it. I had the Kofte because I LOVE IT and because it's something I don't normally eat at home. It is SO GOOD. They gave me a piece of chocolate hazelnut torte/cake for my birthday. YUM!! I had some Masala Chai tea with it. Everything, delicious! The service, as always, was excellent.

My wife and I considered it disappointing overall. After high expectations, 21 SPICES did not live up to its billing.
- The Lamb Chop appetizer was tasty and nicely spiced, but there was virtually no meat on either one of the two lamb chops. We've never had such skimpy lamb chops before.
- The Ajwain Spiced Shrimp Pakora appetizer was good but overly dry.
- The Tandoori Salmon entree was outstanding -- and the only food item that really met expectations. Having said that, it would have been even better if it came with some naan bread (instead of rice) to soak up the scrumptious tomato sauce that the salmon was swimming in.
- The Lamb Biryani entree was disappointing. It had a nice presentation, coming in a pot enveloped by tasty bread. However, the underlying lamb/rice contents were very dry. Moreover, they lacked the spiciness we had been promised.
- Both of us had the Pistachio Kulfee dessert, which consisted of two small popsicle-like bars. While creamy, the taste was very bland. Moreover, the underlying mango and pistachio flavors were barely perceptible.

Luckily, given Indian cuisine is difficult to find in Naples, 21 Spices is a great option. Like a previous reviewer who likened it to their New York Indian experience, it reminds us of our top end Indian restaurants back in London, UK - food that can hold its own against the best cuisines anywhere and uses Indian spice treatments but not necessarily to create dishes you see in a more typical, run of the mill Indian restaurant. This often leads to food that definitely tastes Indian but isn’t necessarily as heavily sauced as you might be used to.
We go regularly and generally love our dishes but are less enamored of service. Not so this time - our server, Zoran, was fabulous. He was efficient, very personable and enthusiastic from start to finish. Top marks!

21 Spices has the ambiance of a New York City restaurant. The decor is very pleasing. The food
is outstanding, with great detail to seasoning, The "heat' is adjusted to the diner's desires, with very spicy my personal choice. Service was prompt and efficient. Our server was very knowledgable and made some excellent suggestions, particularly the Chicken 65 appetizer. A top Naples restaurant no matter what the ethnicity.

Excellent Indian food more upscale than most Indian restaurants. Spice levels are customized to taste. Unique dishes welled prepared. Service was attentive without being overbearing. This is one of the best Indian restaurants we have dined at. Will go back often.

The place is beautiful inside, great ambience, the service was incredible, the food was delicious! In my opinion the food was slightly expensive; two entrees, 1 cocktail; 1 glass of Pinot & 1 piece of naan was $80 with tip $95. We had simple chicken and lamb dishes. Will definitely visit again!

Restaurant is very pretty but food was over cooked and dry ( had seafood special) and service was just good but not great. Also one person requested medium spiced dish and it was too hot for him to eat. Bread tasted a little stale. Maybe the problem is that it is very large so it is difficult to get individual attention to food or service.

The cuisine is, for the most part, excellent, well prepared, generous portions, regarding entree's. However, grossly over priced. We had a party of 3. Alcohol: 1 martini & 1 bottle of beer. One diner ordered only one shrimp & peanut salad($15.00). I ordered 1 soup & 1 lamb shank entree. We shared 3 appetizers. The check came to almost $200.00; with gratuity, $240.00.

The food was very good! Most items can be ordered with the spiciness anywhere from mild to very hot. Watch out if you order hot; be prepared to feel the awesome burn! I had naan, butter chicken, rice and the Taj Mahal beer. All were so delicious! This place is expensive, but the quality and service make it a great treat worth the price.

21 Spices never disappoints. We love the lamb chops (actually rack of lamb), which is perfectly spiced. The garlic nan is always delectable--tender and crisp at the same time. The ambience is elegant with white tablecloths and tall shelves filled with beautiful artifacts.

The hostess was a bit strange. She would not seat us in a booth near everyone else and we were pushed to the back. She also didn’t inform any of the servers that we needed service. We were visiting Miami from Michigan and we figured since we were in Florida, we may as well go back to one of our favorite Indian places. We love Chef Asif’s dishes. It tastes so close to home and we love that he has an “Indian Spicy” spice level. Nonetheless, our server made up for the hostess’s behavior. He was very personable and he treated us well. From making sure we chose the right drinks to modifying our food exactly as we would like. He shared his own stories and he really made us feel like we were in the right hands. We can’t wait to be back!
