This is the 2nd time we have been to 21 Spices. This time we brought another couple who hadn't been there yet. They also loved it. It was a fun, delicious experience!
The beautiful interior of 21 Spices sets the mood for a special night. The service was impeccable- prompt and everything was hot. Our server and the attending servers were attentive and very helpful in describing the dishes that we were not familiar with.
The lamb shank and chicken tikka masala were excellent. One of our party had a vegetarian pot pie and one had a salmon special. All 4 diners enjoyed their entrees. We also loved the crispy spinach appetizer and the spicy chicken chunk appetizer.
Fresh and well-prepared Indian food with a well-trained staff and upscale surroundings.
Our whole group loved the restaurant, my husband had been before and I have returned often. Everything was great. The only thing that we did not care for was being put in a booth for 6 people. It was really too crowded for 6 people to eat comfortably. I would suggest that in the future when you have a party of 6 to put two tables together to eat. With 3 men and 3 ladies it was entirely to close for comfort.
Otherwise our service was great and the food.
New favorite restaurant! Dine there at least once a week. Nicely decorated and clean.
Everything was perfect !!!! The food was delicious our waiter was fantastic.
We’ve been 3 times and the food is always outstanding. Probably the best food in Naples. Will be back for sure.
It was a fantastic evening. The food was magnificent
This is our second visit and we dined with friends who have dined at 21 Spices several times as well. Sat in the main dining room which is decorated beautifully. Absolutely everything about this restaurant is outstanding. We will return soon with more friends.
Have eaten here before and food has always been good. Had the special but was disappointed as to the price. Waitress or Waiter should always tell customers the price of the specials. Did not realize until I got the check the special was $42.00. While it was good it was not worth $42.00
Outstanding! The many levels of flavor in each dish were amazing. Had the tandoori chicken and it was unbelievable. Bobby Flay never stood a chance. It was though it was cooked tandoori style and the flash seared at the end. Flavors were outstanding! Can’t wait to go back. We laughed and said if they had been open for breakfast we would have gone the next morning!
Outstanding food and gorgeous restaurant....don’t miss this one!
We enjoyed an excellent meal on our 4th visit. Each time we try something different and it is always a delight. The food is perfectly flavored offering 5 levels of hotness to suit all. W particularly enjoyed the samosa starter, which sounds very ordinary, but it wasn't and the cause it came with was outstanding. The lamb rogan josh is fantastic as ware the lamb chops. It's not all meat though and you can enjoy a good vegetarian selection too.
The food is outstanding!
If you live curries, you’ll love 21 Spice
Great Indian food. Best lamb chops EVER. Consistently good.
First time dining at 21 Spices. It was excellent and a great new experience for us all.
We had a wonderful variety of foods
It was fine. Actually expected it to be a bit better given the reputation. Samosa was a bit dry, the butter chicken was a bit overwrought, as was the palak paneer. Best item, and it was exceptional, was the the lamb chop appetizer.
We always love coming here!! Service was outstanding! Food is amazing! From the spinach appetizers to lamb chops to every dish we all had! Great place to get together!!
Always enjoy our food here, Nizam’s Kofte is so delicious!!
Wonderful experience. The food was terrific, service was professional, ambience was simple, but pleasant. We like Indian food. This was some of the best we have tried — including a visit to Mombai. This is a new favorite.
We eat here fairly regularly and although it is not an atypical curry house the food is very good if a little pricey.
I had the chicken tandorri and my husband had the vindaloo, both were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! The best food in Naples!
I'm a seasonal Naples resident, one of our favorite restaurants. Friendly staff, excellent food (the lamb shank is incredible) and soothing atmosphere. We recommend it to anyone who will listen.
Second meal there in a week. Enjoy the food very much.
If you don't like spicy food, don't go. The spinach appetizer was very good - crispy spinach - a first for us! There were four of us - the two men enjoyed their lamb chops and shrimp. We two ladies told our server we don't like spicy. The recommended chicken dish was much too spicy (chicken had been marinated) and our friend sent it back. My grouper was not spicy, but it did not taste good - a bit rubbery and "old." I asked for another grouper, and our friend ordered the same. We both sent those dinners back. The manager politely took off those three dinners from our bill.
The food was all good and the atmosphere and service were excellent.
The chef seemed to have forgotten the name of this restaurant on the night I visited. My butter chicken was bland and consisted of a small portion of chicken cubes smothered in what tasted like a thick marinara sauce, the kind you find in grocery store jars. My son and daughter both ordered the salad which was a plate with 3 slices of tomatoes,3 slices of red onion, a lemon and 4 green chilis. The naan was stale and couldn't even be torn to share.Other entrees were equally uninspiring and poorly executed. Huge disappointment.
Consistently good food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Always a fun great experience.
Waitress was very helpful and attentive. Did not like any of the desserts (waffle balls, rice pudding, pistachio popsicle). Desserts were definitely lacking. Main courses, appetizers and bread were all good. Felt a bit pricey.
Enjoyed by everyone, especially by the three vegan gluten free people.
This has been one of my most favorites places to go. We have been going for months and months, until NOW.
Love love Chef Asif so I will completely blame the staff for the lack of service, and of course the LACK of heat factor. All 4 of usLOVE heat and everything came out mild. He must have written the order down wrong. I was with family from Chicago and BIG TIME FOODIES, I thought I had planned the best place in Naples for them. However, on this night it couldn’t have been worse.
Never want this waiter again and it will be awhile before I-come back. Please for the sake of this resturant and chef get it together. If it’s a sou chef get your heat levels right. If you can’t do the 5 levels DONT offer it. I’m still upset.
The bar for ethnic food in Naples, that isn’t French, Latin or Italian, is quite low. What comparatively little there is, I find, is either unrecognizable adjusted for the sensitivities of an elderly Midwestern palette on the one end, to simply inedible on the other. 21 Spices therefore didn’t have far to go to be authentic and pleasing. Our experience not only met but exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed a wide range of the usual delicacies — samosas, chicken tikka masala and dal - as well as some more unusual favorites like chicken tikka skewers grilled with coconut curry and Palakwala Chaat, both excellent. We finished our meal with a fabulous dessert of a delicate bread pudding round topped with pistachio ice cream set in a savory milky pudding. Heaven. Even our Hendricks and Tonics were perfectly proportioned. We will be back to tackle another piece of the menu very soon.
We enjoyed the service and the food. The decor is quite lovely.
Great food and service every one loved their food. My wife does not like spicy so she was very pleased when they offered her Indian food that was mild but very tasty I asked for medium and it was perfectly seasoned for me. We had chicken, salmon and lamb shanks every enjoyed their. Don’t forget to order the garlic nan bread.
We were able to enjoy a very pleasant evening with friends who also enjoy Indian food. Chef Asif definitely
deserve his first Michelin Star from his fabulous restaurant 21 Spices introducing Indian food from his native
Hyderabad which is famous for the Mughlai cuisine. This area is enriched by Turkish and Middle Eastern cultures,
famous for their rich and expensive ingredients like saffron. The beautiful restaurant’s Chef serves 5* quality food
SImply an outstanding meal!!! We started with the palakwala chaat and the chef's signature chicken appetizer- great flavor, not too spicy and everyone at the table got to share. I had the Goat biryani, served in a pot with aromatic rice and topped with a naan crust- beautiful presentation and delicious, tender meat. My wife had the tandoori chicken that the chef beat Bobby Flay with- it was Iron Chef worthy!!! Subtle flavors and incredible presentation- absolutely sublime !!! Be sure to finish the meal with hot tea. We had the house chai tea, which brought a great meal to the perfect conclusion. If you're looking for a restaurant to enjoy one of the best meals you will eat in a peaceful and classy atmosphere, this is the place to go!!!
My husband and I loved our dinner especially meeting the chef. It was a wonderful date night.
We ordered a spinach appetizer - excellent and crispy. The lentil crackers and 3 dips were also outstanding. We ordered the Tandoori (Beat Bobby Flay) chicken. It was terrific. My husband had the lamb. Also very good. We ordered medium spicy, which tasted great, but gave us both a bit of heartburn. When we go back, we'll order the mild spice instead.
