For over twenty-five years, Lovin' Oven Celebrations, Long Island's & Manhattan's premiere caterer, has built their reputation on superb cuisine, elegant locations and refined staff. Their newest venture, the elegant 21 Main Steakhouse, encompasses all these things. Set in the Plantation House at North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle Beach. Gerard Scollan and his brother Matthew have captured the glamor and service of an era gone by - with a modern twist. Gerard Scollan and Matthew Scollan have been in the Catering/Special events business for over twenty-five years and are the owners of Lovin' Oven Celebrations. Lovin' Oven is the food & beverage service provider at North Beach Plantation's elegant locations, including the Seaside Café, BLU, Poolside and the Events at North Beach. Excellent as always. The best place on the Strand for food, friendliness and staff. It always a destination to hit when we are in town. A must if you haven't been.

Three of the 4 of us had great meals. My beef tips were supposed to be prepared medium but were at least medium well and were tough.

The wait staff was really busy but, they were knowledgeable and courteous. The food was just ok. I ordered a well done steak. I cut into a medium rare steak instead. Portions were on the smaller side. Crab cake was small, lacking flavor due to the bread filler. Overall it was a expensive, unsatisfying dinner.👎🏻

The tables were closer together than usual for Valentines Day. Our waiter was awesome and the entire staff was busy. They left out our salad and he promptly brought us chocolate covered strawberries and a glass of champagne to make up for the error. Our food was delicious and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back.

This was our 2nd time dining at 21 Main. The 1st time the food was incredible, with my wife having a Filet, while I had Lamb. This time I had a N.Y. Strip, and again my wife had the Filet. I'm sad to say this 2nd time the food did not measure up to our 1st time. My Strip was dry, although it was cooked correctly. Maybe the quality of beef? Same for my wife. Because of the inconsistency, I would be hard pressed to return when you consider the prices. I've never been one to shy away because of price, especially for a special occasion as this was. The service, ambiance, and wine list was outstanding, but sadly the food didn't measure up.

Love 21 Main! We went with a group of 6 - we love the menu of 21 main because there is something for everyone! Part of the group loves sushi and the other steak, so when one couple can’t decide on just one place we come here! It’s a must if visiting!

When it’s just my husband and I we tend to grab a seat at the bar, great atmosphere and my husband loves the bar menu. He normally gets the main burger which is made of filet!

Highly recommend!

This is the second time I have eaten there and it is always enjoyable. I had the scallops over risotto which is delicious. I didn’t love the fried spinach or the tangy sauce paired with it, but the scallops and risotto alone was perfect and enough. I sampled the calamari app and the Brie appetizer- I highly recommend both. This facility is REALLY loud so I don’t recommend for a date or intimate dinner.

Our server was awesome and very on point! She didn't crowd us and was very enjoyable! I had the delmonico Robert, it was seasoned well, the demi glace was great, creamed spinach and mushrooms were great. Had a bottle of stays leap petite stray for $79, I think that is priced properly. Thoroughly enjoyed my evening and will be back!

Awesome food and superb service. The young lady was attentive and chatty. With experience she will be first rate... Don't take that as a complaint. I had the pork chop which was incredible. Only disappointment was the bar was very expensive @ $15 with tip for a martini...the drink was very well made. Tasty!

Service was a little slow. Restaurant was very busy given it being off season. Server was very attentive and keep the drinks coming while we waited on the food.

Overall it was a great experience. The shuttle drivers from the condos were very nice. If you stay at North Beach you need to have at least one meal.

Our experience was great except that it was my husband’s birthday and he ordered the dry aged ribeye which were later told was out. They did make up for it by giving us half off the steak and a free side of au poivre!

Our first time at 21 Main and we were pleasantly surprised. Was looking for a place before seeing at show in the area. 21 Main was in the paper as participating in Restaurant week, so I figured let's give it a try. Place is clean, everyone was friendly, food was fantastic, and our waiter Tyler was great.

We were there for New Year’s Eve dinner. The service was erratic as they seemed disorganized in service. We got water and waited 10-12 minutes to see the waiter again. They were busy but there were open tables - so not packed
Good was very good but not special. Waiter didn’t know the food when we asked about the fish - vague and said he hadn’t seen it.
Oh well, not bad but nothing special.

We celebrated New Year's Eve with a group of eight friends. We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious. I had lobster it was amazing. The only negative was that it was a little chilly in the restaurant. We will return again.

We spent our New Years Eve dinner at 21 Main. We arrived a little early where we were immediately greeted. Our table was not ready yet so we spent some time at the bar. The restaurant was really busy and the staff did a really nice job of handling all the customers.

When seated our server Ashley was exceptional. We started our meal with the she crab soup. It was delicious. I would of preferred it a little hotter but it was very flavorful. The choice of wine suggested by Ashley was on the money and went very well with the meal. I had the petite filet and it was a really nice size with the added crab meat and the baked potato which was more than enough for both of us to share. My wife had the petite filet and a side of the shrimp. In short it was a great evening. The service and food was exceptional. For a busy New Years Eve evening the restaurant did a really nice job of handling all the customers. We will be back for another wonderful evening.
