   The food was well prepared. The gentleman who bused our table was the highlight of the evening. We saw more of him than our waiter, Scott. Scott could do a better job of spending his time a bit more evenly across his assigned tables. At a fine dining establishment you don’t pour your own wine as an example of a service refinement. Where the place fell down for us occurred when one of the owners stopped by our table to see how we were enjoying the meal. He was pleasant enough but it wasn’t sincere. When we were leaving the owner was standing by the hostess stand. He didn’t acknowledge us in any way. The hosts didn’t thank us spending $400 for dinner. AT THE VERY LEAST, THERE SHOULD BE A THANK YOU, have a great night AND HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN SOON WHEN CUSTOMERS LEAVE. IT IS RUDE TO IGNORE CUSTOMERS WHEN THE HAVE SPENT A CONSIDERABLE SUM FOR DINNER. WE DESERVED BETTER TREATMENT PARTICULARLY IF HE WANTED US TO RETURN AGAIN AND AGAIN. In fact, the hosts could stand to greet people more directly when they enter. It is a small courtesy that goes a long way. True fine dining establishments have the customers experience service from the moment that they enter until they exit the front door. 2 Johns is not a true fine dining experience. It is an expensive dining experience with a nice wine list. We enjoy fine dining regularly. We have dined all over the country and this place was a disappointment. The owner and staff would do well to read Charlie Trotter’s book on service.

   Everything was amazing! Crab cakes for an appetizer, perfectly cooked ribeye, delicious Snapper Hollis, and awesome turtle cheesecake to finish! Best fine dining in Shreveport/Bossier area hands down!

    The service was impeccable, I never wanted for anything. The wait staff and others made sure everything was perfect. The wedge salad is my favorite. I also got the filet and mom had a burger. We left full and very satisfied. I definitely will go again!

    My cowboy steak was very rare in the middle and a little tough to cut. They took it back and had it cooked to medium but it was still a little tough. I did not complain as it was my moms birthday and they were already 1/3 way through their meal. Everything else was fantastic. For $85 for a steak it should have been tender so I won’t purchase that again

    Went to celebrate anniversary. Sat at the bar which we have done many times before. Find out old bar manager/head bartender is no longer there which is fine. But the young man who took his place seemed more interested in talking to single women at the bar as opposed to the ones around the bar. When dealing with patrons was arrogant and unhelpful. For $15 the old fashioned was VERY poorly constructed. Too many great options in town for great cocktails to be subject to that. The cocktail menu was also INCREDIBLY unimaginative and single minded in regards to spirit. Apparently if you don’t drink vodka you have no business drinking at 2Johns. Used to be one of our favorite spots but I doubt that we will ever go back.

    Overall a great restaurant. Our waiter was not very joyful and serve was at times slow. Complete opposite of how the table was bused after each round of food and drink someone was there joyfully removing glasses and dishes. Oddly out table of 5 was charged gratuity. Not a big, as we are good tippers and 20% added was aligned to serves and food but oversight of that fact could have lead to double tipping. Food overall was good and appetizers were the best. The online menu is old and I ad really planed to have the quail only to learn that item was not on menu since 2020. The fish of the Mahi Mahi claimed to be fresh never frozen and I do not believe that. Someone at the table did order the Mahi Mahi and it was good, but like I figured from my taste and its appearance it was not fresh never frozen as it was claimed to be.

    We had an awesome waiter named Scott who was very attentive. Food was delicious as usual. Loud & rowdy customers next to us caused disappointing experience, but we understand they can't be asked to leave just because they are drunk.

    Everything was a bit expensive as expected, but I was happy to pay it for the quality of the experience as a whole. The food was really good and the service was on par with the price. I would definitely recommend it!

    I absolutely love this place. It is my go to in Shreveport for business dinners when I want to impress a customer. Excellent quality, expertly prepared, beautifully presented. It will knock your socks off. It’s a little pricey, but OMG! I almost always get steak, but decided on the pork chop last night. Top notch all the way. Ask for Greg’s section for dinner and a show. He is 1 if a kind.

    The food was hands down the best food I’ve ever had. Our service was amazing. It was a bit louder than I expected and honestly I wasn’t expecting a paper menu that I had to scan for the drink menu. We try not to have our phones out a dinner.

    It was a great dining experience at 2Johns. We had the grouper, the snapper and the steak and it was all so good. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. We’ll definitely come back some other time.

    We've been eating at 2Johns for probably 10-12 years whenever we travel through Shreveport from Texas. We actually make our overnight plans based upon eating at 2Johns. They have never disappointed. It's one of our favorite restaurants anywhere with impeccable service and food.

    I’m from Washington DC, so nice restaurants is something I enjoy. 2 John’s puts 90% of them to shame. Ridiculous portions, amazing quality and exceptional service. Most underrated part are your bus boys. Finished dishes were gone quickly, never had an empty glass and they were professional without being overbearing. I’m actually headed back tonight for drinks.

    Consistently great food! We came early (5:15) and the restaurant filled up quickly. Great for 2Johns! However, it was LOUD! Hard to hear the folks around our table. Always a great goto when business folks are in town.

    As always, 2 John’s is the best food in the Shreveport Bossier area. I really haven’t found anything else close. It’s pricey but certainly worth it in my opinion.

    The restaurant is cozy, but still comfortable! Food was outstanding. Steak and pasta, along with bread, was great. Soup of the day (potato and sausage) was good, but not something I couldn’t make myself.
