Excellent place, we arrived at our reservation time and the host promptly seated us. The wait staff promptly brought our drinks, took our food order. The Ribeye steaks is a great value, one of the best Ribeyes I've had. Food and service was excellent. I only have one thing I'd change in the restaurant, the beer menu is limited...........no Budweiser (only Bud light). Otherwise 5 stars! I would definitely return to this restaurant.
My dinner (sliders) was good enough, and my son's dinner (PEI mussels) was very good, but my husband's meal was very disappointing. The hamburger bun was stale and the french fries were actually cold. The burger was not inexpensive, so we rightly expected better.
The locals love this place. Several people recommended it to us. We looked forward to it and made sure to make happy hour with bacon and roll the dice pricing.
However, we found it to be average. With all the other opportunities for dinner on the island, this was our least favorite.
Just stoped in to grab a few drinks and a bite. Found this place from Open table and thought we would try something different away from Duval
Street. we got there and Mika had helped us out. Was a great and friendly host. Food came out pretty quick since it was not busy. Food was really good. Chef did an amazing job. And the mahi sandwich and fries. We were not able to stay for happy hour on my next trip I'll def stop have to stop by for it.
Def a hidden gem for those that are visiting from other other states.
Really enjoyed the vibe that was the outdoor seating area. The service was fantastic, everyone was quite attentive. The food had fantastic potential, however it lacked in execution. The breading on the oysters was well seasoned, and provided a nice crunch, however, the oysters were inconsistently cooked. For the main course, I had the clams with chorizo. The broth was quite flavorful, however, in general the clams were over cooked and a bit chewy. My associate had a burger though that was absolutely fantastic. I would definitely go there again!
The apps were great. Some of the meals were great and some were ok. The burger and fried rice were great. The gnocchi not so much. The fried jalapeño poppers were awesome. It's an outside restaurant. Appetizers were really good. Would go back for s glass of wine and appetizers to enjoy Tbd relaxing feel if the restaurant.
The bar is is funky and cool.
The food is good.
We tried the shishito peppers ..not spicy but a really good flavor.
Also the wings are really good..
I had the blue bacon burger which was also really good.
The seemed to be only one person working so things took a little longer then it should have...but it was lunch so maybe they are usually slow at that time...that why I gave it only three stars
It is definitely a place worth checking out.
Picked this place on a whim. Close to where we're staying. Must say, glad we stumbled into this place.
The place was not crowded which raised some eyebrows for fellow dinners.
First course consisted of chicken fried oyster (perfect), bone marrow ( you don't want to miss this one), maple bacon, and poppers.
Dinner included such items as whole fish special( yellow tail), lamb tacos, grilled cheese, and a hamburger.
The whole fish was outstanding. The one marrow was off the chain, and the oysters we perfect. The grill cheese and truffle fries were a perfect match ( think comfort food).
Our waitress was absolutely fabulous. Very attentive and patient with are large and overly pretentious group.
Not sure why this place is not packed. I suggest you give it a try !!!!
This place was tucked away down a little side street and at first glance we would have walked right past it but once we stopped at the reception table we were seated right away and ordered drinks. I had a moscow mule. It was wonderful. We had the hummus that was out if thus world. Oysters and pumpkin gnochi and the brussel sprouts. The food was amazing and the drinks were a substantial pour. I think thats important. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The noise level got a little loud at one point but the table behind us had a big party. Over all will go back again
I'm never disappointed when I dine in there or even stop in for just a drink.... and the staff could not be better! Nice to see a lot of that have been there for years and they welcome you with open arms and remember your name which is not something most places do.
I ordered the whole fish Yellowtail Snapper.
It was fantastic, well seasoned and cooked to perfection.
My son ordered the burger. The burger was mediocre.
My mother ordered the smoked chicken skewers. I believe the chicken is first grilled, then immediately smoked in a mason jar.. This was a unique approach to smoking meat, and the very flavorful.
We had the Brussel Sprout appetizer, it was very enjoyable.
I would definitely go back for the whole fish.
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning. Didn't need to make reservations so got right in. Plenty of room to park our stroller but they have no kids menu. Other then that it was a good brunch. Had the beignets, hummus and breakfast sandwich. Atmosphere was nice outside where we sat.
