19 Okanagan Grill + Bar Ratings and Reviews
Food was tasty. Presentation was just okay. Price was moderate. Service was just okay... certainly not special. Atmosphere was bright. Room was noisy... Four televisions and loud background music. It is my opinion that this restaurant is basically a golf course pub trying to masquerade as a fine dining restaurant. Fail. Now in the summer... sitting out on the patio, overlooking the golf course with a nice cold beer...many of these shortcomings would not be as noticeable.
Excellent soup. Pasta dish was really delicious but the burger and fries were overcooked and slightly burnt.
Excellent, attentive service.
Overall a good experience but the burger plate was a bit of an embarrassment as the consumer was an overseas visitor who wanted to try a north American dish.
My friend and I were looking for a nice place to go for lunch, and we were happy with our choice of 19. We aren't golfers, but it was a lovely spot to look over the course with the lake in the distance. Our lunch was excellent and the ladies who served us were great. We will be back!
This was my second visit to 19 Okanagan. The food and drinks were fantastic both times. Staff is great, helpful but not too in your face. The timing of the food coming out is just perfect to get in a good visit but not too long that you're feeling impatient. Dining outside in summer is preferable, the dining room is noting special decor wise. With that being said I am so happy to hear it is open year round because the food is delicious. 19 is becoming one of my favourite places to eat on the West side.
The food was most excellent. The service was good. The only thing we noticed not of top quality was the servers being somewhat loud together at the bar while there were still people to serve. It was not a significant issue but perhaps not the most professional.
We visited for the first time on our annual trip. Great food and great service. From the moment we walked in the experience was top notch. The only regret was we didn't have room for dessert. Kennedy (and all of the team!) provided us with wonderful service. Great job! We'll be back.
We were looking for GF options, and Okanagan Bar and Grill seemed the most appealing. We were not disappointed! Great view of golf course from the patio, great server (very pleasant young lady - she was actually celiac and very informative about GF options), delicious food, great service. Highly recommended.
Food was great, server was lovely and looked after us just fine. However, upon arrival (about 10 mins early), we were briefly 'greeted' and told that our table was being prepped and were then left to hang around in entrance. Another member of staff asked is we were being looked after, we explained our table was being prepped and asked if we could go to the bar and get drinks whilst we waiting for our friends to arrive. We were told no, the bar was closed due to a wedding taking place. We went back to waiting in the entrance - rather like being at a fast food restaurant chain. Disappointing but not all bad as the food was delicious and our server was great.
It's a great place. We usually sit on the patio, but due to high winds we chose the dining room. Something about the acoustics in the building make it incredibly noises. (Which in all honesty we were warned about by the hostess). The service was awesome. There was a team of waiters and waitress who made sure we were totally looked after. The butternut squash soup was unreal. VERY good!
We came here with family-celebrating our boys birthday and the opportunity for us to all be together. The food was very good. The service was a little lacking. Not sure if it was because our server was busy or just because she wasn't thrilled to serve us? We are a bit of a boisterous bunch, but always polite and considerate. We enjoyed the occasion and we will be back again.
