19 Kitchen & Bar - Harvey's Lake Tahoe
Everything was amazing, great location, and terrific service from Jamie. My only complaint was the amount of food. The New York Strip was massive and i could only finish about half of it. Traveling from out of town and leaving the next day on a plane, I could not save it. Hopefully somebodies pet had a nice meal.
I do get that you want to give value for the price, and big portions are a way to do that. The only problem with that is most of your clientele will be from out of town with limited availability to take any leftovers so the food goes to waste. Myself, and again i realize that you dont cater to me, I would have preferred some smaller portions.
Tasteless ahi tuna grill from the chef’s special menu was $45. Requested lake view table for sunset was a side view. Reisling was sugar sweet.
It was an outstanding experience! The food and service was phenomenal I would highly recommend
Nice restaurant. Beautiful view of the lake. Probably one of the nicest dinner views in Tahoe. Dinner for 2 was @ $200 (without wine). Which is fine, but the service was just ok. Not overly bad or overly good. I don't mind spending $100 pp, but I want to feel like it was an experience. Example, my husbands ice tea was left unfilled and they never brought us a condiment we asked for. Not a bad review, just nothing that made any particularly amazing memories.
Amazing Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes were incredible and the steak was delicious!!!
Great service and food. Attentive but not overbearing. Too bad they’re closing. Great loss.
Always amazing. Great service and food.
Thoroughly enjoyable sunset meal. Everything as per my scoring. However the casino was more like an end of the pier slot machine set up. Two roulette tables in 25,000 sq ft and they were both closed.
First off.. if you aren’t “7 stars” I highly recommend you don’t go there. My girlfriend and I were the second party seated right when they opened and we had requested on our reservations a window seat. When we were sat we were a few tables away from any window and we told the hostess and server this wasn’t what we reserved. She responded “oh sorry those are for 7 star guests only,” than the server walked by and mumbled under his breathe” this is the best shot your going to get” after my girlfriend was trying to explain how we didn’t reserve this and THERE WAS ONE OTHER PARTY IN THE WHOLE RESTAURANT. On our way out they didn’t apologize and the host said “so your going to leave?..” never I have a wrote a bad review but I thought this was necessary.
Service was just poor. Had to ask for more water twice and wifes salmon was not properly prepared. Server was not available to correct problems. Understand that 19 is closing and that is just as well since it has always been third best of the Caesars steakhouses in Tahoe.
Dalton our server was awesome food was amazing
best view ever.
Friendly staff made us welcome from the moment we arrived.
Great food and drinks
Wonderful restaurant with a spectacular view. Cocktail program could use updating but food quality and service are exceptional.
From Jim our server to Francisco his assistant and everyone who served us the service was excellent. We were fortunate to have a table to have an amazing view of the sunset. We had oysters on the half shell for appetizers then we split a mixed green salad which was wonderful. Followed by the main courses of wild boar, sea bass and ratatouille which were all amazing. Then we opted for cheese cake for dessert and coffee. We had Drambouie after dinner drinks and asked for them over a hot water bath which they did just right. Yes the price of the wine was s little steep but I thought the main course prices were in line with this style of dining. I can’t say enough positive about the service and the quality of food. Yes it is not cheap but if you want a quality dining experience for a special occasion you won’t be disappointed.
Liked the variation from Friday Station, will be sad to see it replaced by the Sage Room, some things are not an improvement.
Chili sauce was concentrated and very spicy on my side dish, everything else was excellent
Sean was our waiter and Brian the manager. Brian was on the floor setting tables and cleaning and Sean was an OUTSTANDING server
outstanding view of Lake Tahoe and food was delicious of highest quality. Expensive ($62 for filet mignon) and $21 for a glass of cabernet.
The only disappointment was that we had specifically requested a particular table at least a week before and when we arrived(right on time) someone else was seated there.
Very expensive but delicious dinner with a lovely view of the Lake.
My wife and I celebrated our 38 year anniversary here and had one of the best meals ever. The abalone appetizer and surf and turf entree were unbelievable. Each had their own distinct flavors but blended together fantastically. Fans forever.
Very nice atmosphere, however, the food was a bit disappointing. The sides were loaded with salt, however, the filet was cooked to perfection. Overall, I thought the meal was a bit overpriced.
Great place for dinner before the concert at Harvey's. View of Lake Tahoe from the 19th floor is stunning and the menu provided a great selection, even Abalone which is next to impossible to get in a restaurant these days. Highly recommend it for a special occasion or romantic dinner for two.
The view, the food, the service! Everything was wonderful! Best birthday dinner ever!
View was exceptional! Wine list extensive and reasonably priced. Food was prepared well and flavors well matched. Service was attentive and friendly. Great meal!
The view is Lake Tahoe at its shimmery best, but being such a large lake I imagine that there are any number of locations that could make that claim. The thing that sets this restaurant apart is the excellence of the food. I had Chilean Sea Bass that was the best I’ve ever had. It was lightly almost crisped on the outside, but tender, moist, and buttery on the inside wanting to melt in my mouth. Served on top of a risotto to live for. The risotto had some sort of creamy sauce to it that enhanced the whole dish rather than overwhelmed it. It was served with a drizzle of lobster broth and a few shrimp thrown in for good measure. I would recommend this to the pickiest foodie, the heartiest male appetite, or the lightest of petite framed capacities (although you may end up taking some of the risotto home to scramble into tomorrow’s breakfast!). The prices are not cheap but the quality of the food and the beauty of the views make it on par with what you’d expect to pay.
We were seated in a second class table/view. It was our forty anniversary and I had requested a special table and was crammed into this tiny spot whatcha had us in jail by the huge column. Very disappointed. The amount of time money put into this didn’t pencil out in my opinion. Another thing, you advertise that the Dress is business/ Casual. I don’t think t-shirts shorts and flip flops. Fits that attire. Unbelievably slope low rent. Obviously you are not serious. Overall we felt very disrespected.
Incredible view of Lake Tahoe. The food was very good but overpriced... but again you're paying for that view. Service was excellent. Dessert was the star...the fresh warm donuts were crazy good.
Moms birthday no candles or dessert offering.
Surprised and not happy no decaf coffee which is a must and disappointed no cotton candy.
Really nice place to go on a date. Amazing view and great ambiance. Food is pricy, but high quality. Service was excellent! Our server was very responsive and engaging, but knew when to leave us alone. Highly recommended
We arrived early for our 7pm res and were seated immediately. The food and service were excellent.
The view at 19 was phenomenal! Went to celebrate our anniversary.
The view made up for a waiter who seemed to be rushed and didn’t have a lot of time for us. The large table behind us was noisy and inconsiderate of others. We had hoped for a quiet romantic dinner.
You’d think for a 51 Anniversary the dessert would be complimentary or at least write happy Anniversary on the plate, but no! Oh well, thankful for the view!
Room was extremely hot, bar was extremely slow and steaks were over cooked.
Staff was very nice and attentive.
Views are amazing!
Great food, service, and view of the Lake. Food quality and quantity was good. This is a great place to go for a nice meal with a special some body.
Alex was the best waitress ever
After being ignored for the first 10 minutes and then had a guy
Come over apologizing he did not see r table
Really untogether wasn’t happy and didn’t feel he wanted to n there
He started opening the wine then left
And we were not happy with the service at all
Then Alex came by and said she wud b taking over
And boy we’re we all glad
She was smiling happy to be there
And we had a GREAT dinner thanks to her
We will have always ask for her when we come for dinner
Excellent experience! Only problem was the meat I ordered came out a more raw than I would have liked, but it was still outstanding. Great food, and amazing view, highly recommend!
You can dine on superb filet mignon - cooked to perfection - while enjoying a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe and the mountains surrounding it. Truly, 19 Kitchen has one of the best venues for viewing the southern half of the lake - and depending on the season, you can watch the sun set over the mountains. Bread, salad, mashed potatoes, and the steak were all excellent. They are famous for their fresh cinnamon donuts with chocolate and vanilla sauce - the perfect dessert after your meal.
Our server was pleasant, but not as attentive as we've experienced in our previous visits. I recommend 19 Kitchen to anyone who wants a tender steak with an unparalleled view of Lake Tahoe.
The service was excellent. The food ... my partners pork chop was excellent. I ordered the seafood pasta it came out like rMen noodles in soup. No flavor and impossible to actually eat.
Great place to celebrate a birthday fantastic views of Lake Tahoe
Came here for my birthday with husband. I did inform in reservation about occasion. The hostess gave us a nice table near the window and asked if he had an anniversary celebration, but we mentioned that it was my birthday. At the dinner the servant was saying happy birthday to the table near us all the time, but never to me. At the end he brought a cake with candle and sing a song to the guy at the table near us. But he completely forgot about me. When my husband mentioned about my birthday, he said that nobody told him. He brought me a cotton sugar instead of cake because he said they run out of cakes. My mood was ruined , and for two people we had $170 bill.
