Really enjoyed our time at 18th and Vine - great food and great company.
great atmosphere and beautiful elevated bbq restaurant
I was already a frequent visitor. This time was as good as any!
Overpriced everything. $9 for 3 tiny potato skins. Give me a break. Terrible, slow service on top of that. Took us over 30 minutes to get our drinks.
Great spot for a sit-down BBQ meal! Fried okra is a must.
Food was so slow that half our party had to go back to the office without their meal.
This was our second visit. The burnt ends were dry this time. Disappointed with that, the rest of the meal was good.
The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good, but not exceptional bbq. Cool setting. Good for friends. A bit too loud for a business conversation.
The place seems to be running on a shoe-string. Our server doubled as the host and was stretched very thin. The food was acceptable but not outstanding. Not the experience we were anticipating from prior reviews
The food was outstanding. My husband and I ordered an appetizer, entree and dessert.
Excellent experiences of food, service and atmosphere.
Delicious barbecue in a different style to the standard Texas experience. The pork was phenomenal and the vinegar based sauce they use for it is amazing. Would totally recommend for a hidden gem in Oak Lawn
Great food, friendly service good outdoor area for these covid times. Will make this my local spot whenever I'm in town.
The service is excellent. All food was very tasty. Loved the Barbeque sauce too. The dessert is a must!
The food is great! there are some tables in the porch that are ver comfortable during spring.
Fathers Day dinner. Great atmosphere with smooth music playing adding to the ambiance. Excellent food and service!
Incredible barbecue and excellent service! Already looking forward to our next trip back!
Always delicious! Love the pit boss salad and wings! Yum!
The handmade sausage was the best. Collard greens were whole leaf and flavorful. Great experience.
The experience aspect was good but the brisket was really dry and tough. First visit so I’ll give them a bit of a pass but I expected more.
Absolutely loved the ambiance and the food was delicious 💟. Our server was awesome too
I was a little worried to go dine out on opening weekend, but 18th and Vine nailed it! Our server Chris was beyond amazing! Service was impeccable and no one was sitting near each other. I will go back and obviously ask for Chris. He made our first time out again so amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone. He also remembers regulars that had not been there since togo only. So glad we went. Tip! Resos only!
Food all very good..
Waiter was friendly and did a good job, but was stretched
way too thin with the number of tables he had.
Good cocktails. Appetizers were unusually small portions to share. Food was cold. Average 'Q at best. Service was indifferent.
The place was empty at 6:00pm. Must make their money at lunch.
Great barbecue w a good selection. Prices higher due to ambience but worth it for a BBQ fix in the city.
BBQ was very good, but the smoked salmon appetizer was out of this world crazy good. We are putting this one on the list of regular dining spots!
Chairs like ice cream parlor chairs are very uncomfortable.
The best parts of our experience were the valet and host. It was all downhill from there.
Food was shockingly mediocre. Brisket was room temp and dry. Not leathery dry, but definitely no meat juice.
Ribs were good but extremely salty. Same with the pulled pork. Good but extremely salty.
The sides were kinda sad. Texture of the Brussels sprouts was great. Tender and crispy at the same time. Lacked seasoning and were oddly cold. Not sure how they were still crispy..
Mashed potatoes were great.
Mac and cheese was sad. Tasted like cafeteria style with cheese baked on top.
No bread or rolls are served with the bbq, which seems odd to me.
Sauce is left on table and cold. I’d appreciate some hot bbq sauce served with the meal.
Apple pies were off putting. Burnt taste.
Service was friendly but inattentive.
Excellent food and a wonderful place for my business lunch.
The food was excellent once it came out. They were under-staffed during our visit; it took a long time for us to get served and it just seemed that they weren’t prepared for their guests. The “family-sized” portions were small, a couple of our sides were cold when they came out, and one of our sides was forgotten entirely. The cocktails were great, and the meat entrees were VERY good. I have a feeling that on a different night with more staffing, it could have been an awesome experience.
Everything was great, except (1) service was slow and inattentive; and (2) brownie desert was exceptionally dry. Otherwise, food was great.
The Burnt End Appetizer was very good, however, everything after was fair to poor. We ordered a half pound of Brisket, and a half pound of pork. The brisket was 70% fat and tasted like roast beef.
Servers took 10 mins to bring silverware. We told 3 different people, still no silverware. Drinks took over 20 mins.
Horrible service, food digusting
Had 7:30 reservations had to wait about 30 mins for table they were out of brisket and it took about an hour to get our food
It was Saturday night and we made reservations. We were visiting from Southern California having dinner with a family member who lives locally. The place was cute and I loved the decor. They were extremely short staffed. I believe the owner served us. He explained that he was short staffed and he would be doing the waiter, bar tender, manager position. He was gracious in taking off a couple items off our bill. It was one of the those situations where I felt like rolling up my sleeves to help him out in accommodating the other patrons. Our food was cold. My boyfriend had the brisket. He said it was cold and tough. My daughter had the brisket and pulled pork. She said it was tough and dry. She loved the Mac and cheese. I enjoyed my coleslaw. Would I try this place again? Yes I would. The night I visited was an off night. Things happened and I know the owner was working hard to accommodate all his customers.
Great smoky, Kansas-style bbq. We shared several sides and really enjoyed the brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. A great place to hit up if you're looking for a more elevated bbq spot.
The food was amazing. The building is very aesthetically pleasing. The service was great. The prices are very reasonable.
