   We had a delicious dinner. I had the salmon salad, yum, salmon was cooked perfectly. My husband had the rockfish, and he loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is excellent. The wait staff are friendly and make our evening out enjoyable.

   Server Jason was excellent, quintessential professional. He was kind, attentive, genuine, honest, and helpful. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff; presentation, flavors, food temp, and cook were wonderfully executed. You can taste the passion and love behind their preparation. Bold, full flavors in every bite. Compliments to the bartender, my old fashioned was well done, Singapore Sling had a great authentic taste. The desserts were out of this world. Be sure to take a stroll in their beautiful Japanese garden when your meal is done. Great setting, away from the clamor, tucked away inside the Best Western. We will be back. We enjoyed every moment of our evening. I’m glad we found this fine establishment.

   It was our first visit. I saw an advertisement in a flyer received in the mail. The menu looked intriguing. May 5th was our 57th wedding anniversary and we wanted to try something new and inviting. Our primary desire was a great tasting meal. We ordered alcoholic drinks, an appetizer and two entrees. We normally eat light, but again we were seeking a new establishment, and again were seeking something special. It was a little disappointing. Entrees did not come with any sides - salad, nor vegetables. Both of us ordered a pasta. No bread, oh you want some, its $2.00 a slice!? My wife had the Prawn Fettuccine which did have a Greek orientation with prawns, tomato, feta cheese and Kalamata Olives - tasty, but lacked a wine or some type of sauce to pull the parts together. I had the Seafood Bucatini - it sounded interesting as we have lived all over the world and we have been fortunate to eat some amazing different food. The plate was advertised as having a saffron tomato sauce, but there was not even a hint of saffron! Just a nice bowl of spaghetti with 3 large prawns and a little bit of fish.

    1847 is normally very good. I enjoy going there for a nice evening. The last time I went though the food was just okay. The service was great, the prices were a little more expensive but that's not there fault. But the taste was just okay.

    Service was great. Josh was very attentive, took care of us exactly when we needed him too. I never found myself looking around for him. Bar could have been quicker with our drinks. Food was awesome but plates were very easy and hotel typical. Would have liked to see a signature dish on the menu, or some hose made pasta. Flavors were on point and the staff was cheerful and friendly. Definitely will come back for another go.

    We had a table of 9 and our server was excellent. Kept track of everyone and the food was absolutely delicious. We had 3 birthdays and each person got a brownie that was delicious also😀 Had a very enjoyable dinner time.

    I found this place from a Facebook recommendation. We decided to try it out for Valentine's Day. Reservation was easy enough. We got there early and they were able to seat us no problem. Our waiter was helpful and the drinks/food came pretty quick. But he could have been a smidge more attentive (my husband waited a while for a refill). The food/drinks themselves were great for me, but my husband wasn't super thrilled with his chicken penne as it had a lot of onions. The atmosphere was quiet and low key, but I asked for a romantic corner and while we did get a corner, there were bright overhead lights shining in our faces. They had sweepers hidden behind a curtain that were peeking out. Our table was wobbly and sticky for some reason. We're not picky so we just dealt with it, but others may be upset by all that.

    We made an online reservation for 6:00 on a Saturday night and were disappointed that a nice booth or table with a view wasn’t reserved for us. We were given a choice of a table right near the entrance or one in the farthest back corner of the restaurant. We chose the back which had ZERO ambiance as our only view was servers bringing food from the kitchen. The appetizers and cocktails we had were delicious but very small for the price. The lighting was weird as I was sitting in a spotlight from the overhead recessed light. Some tables seemed too bright and others too dim. The entrees were good but I was disappointed to not get any bread with my $28 pasta. On a positive note, the cheesecake was delicious and our server was great. Overall, a so-so expensive dinner.

    1847 was highly recommended, and it was a lovely place for Lebanon. But my wife's fish and chips were soggy, my steak was riddled with gristle, and our guests' entrees were unexciting. The seared-crusted ahi appetizer was cut paper thin and amounted to about an ounce, and the smoked salmon cakes were dense and doughy. Our waiter was very attentive and pleasant though.

    We found the service to be excellent, the ambience pleasant, and the food very good. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was prepared quickly and still hot when brought to the table. The portions were sufficient if not plentiful but tasted quite good. I feel that the value was on a par with other establishments of this quality. We will certainly be returning.

    It's so great to have a really nice restaurant to go to in our little town. We always refer our guests to the hotel for dining. Although it's not the best food I've ever had, it's always really good and the service is great. Nice quiet atmosphere for a cozy night out.

    Located in the hotel, 1847 Bar and Grill has the feel of an expensive restaurant but it is very reasonably priced. The ambience is warm and relaxing. The wait staff are OUSTANDING and the food diverse in selection. It is a place my wife and I enjoy coming to on a regular basis although it is a 35 minute drive from Corvallis.

    This is probably one of the best restaurants in Lebanon. It’s kind of hit and miss with the food though I was not impressed with my steak. The truffle fries are more like JoJos and overall everything was just mediocre.

    Waiter told us the special when he came back to take our order our whole table wanted to order it. Waiter came back to let us know that they were out of the special, maybe the servicer and the kitchen needs to communicate to the servers before they communicate to the customers what is available.

    I live in Eugene, I made reservations at 1847 to celebrate a new job for my son. The meal he ordered was awful! The red sauce with saffron had way too much saffron, he could not taste the basil or garlic. He looked uncomfortable when he was eating. I tasted it and could not imagine eating a whole plate of it. The service was exceptional!! Our waiter was attentive and very kind. I give him a +10.
