About 18 Steak
How do you honor Louisiana being named the 18th state of the U.S?
By serving up prime cuts of beef and perfectly paired wine, of course. Savor a juicy steak, cooked to perfection, in the elegant dining room at 18 Steak.
Or, visit the bar for a stiff pour of your favorite bourbon, scotch or whiskey, while admiring the burned scotch and whiskey barrels adorning the ceiling. Bar and lounge seats 31.

18 Steak Ratings and Reviews
our meal was fantastic, only problem was my salad I requested iceberg and did nto get iceberg and the salad was not the original salad I had there when I first ate at 18 steak (redstick) it completely changed. There were no tomatoes and no pickles and that is what made the redstick salad my favorite. The salad I was given was good just not as good.
We were looking forward to dining at 18 steak. we have dined he before and it was excellent then. But this time the food took a long time to be served and we ordered the filet steak and our steaks were very tough we were very disappointed, we told our waiter but he did not try to make it right. when you pay $39.00 for a good steak it should be that.
Went for Valentines Day, 1st time there. Service was excellent, ask for Tony; however I believe there was a mixup with our order. We were 1st brought the wrong order, then when I did receive my steak, it was lukewarm, almost to the point of being cold. Husband's baked fish was perfect, as was the lobster mac and cheese. The complimentary chocolate covered strawberries was a nice surprise
Everything was good. The restaurant was fairly empty, but the hostess tries to sit us by the bar which is sorta opened to noise. I requested another table, she agreed to sit us elsewhere which was a better seat in my opinion.
The food was good, and the service was very good too. We do like to visit this restaurant on Sundays because of their special.
Chose 18 Steak to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary. It was a great choice. The service was far above normal, the food was delicious. The management treated us to dessert which in my husbands words, "this is sinfully good". So glad we chose 18 Steak to celebrate. Thank you 18 Steak for making our anniversary special.
First time there for birthday / concert at the Casino. Not one person asked if we were celebrating any special occasion even though I noted it in the reservation. Food was just ok, needed seasoning and my order was wrong. The server seemed distracted with regular guests and we felt ignored. We ordered one desert and got it almost 45 minutes later because I'm sure it was forgotten. I don't think we will be going back.
The atmosphere and service was very good. However, I've had better food for the price. I'm not saying the food was bad, it was good...but, there are so many more upscale steakhouses where all the dishes from the steak to the sides melt in your mouth. This was good, but others are better, especially considering the price.
The food and service was very good. On a past visit I had a Pear Martini that was delicious. It was not on the menu, but they were able to make it for us. We had the filet special. It was cooked properly and we cut it with our butter knife. The BLT salad was very good as well as the Turtle soup. We were celebrating two birthdays and were given a complementary desert.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. However again the food was not to the standard I would expect for this restaurant. Three guest ordered the prime rib, each expressed that the cut of meat was tough. I order the lamb lollipop chops which were a little chewy but had delicious flavor. We enjoy the experience each time we visit but find the quality of the meals inconsistent.
Although the service was only fair the overall evening was great. The food taste well and the drinks were delicious. My personal favorite of the evening was the Regal Washington. It was a nice surprise when they came out with a piece of cake and a sparkler candle at the end, having booked for a special event.
