The food, the service, and the atmosphere was perfect. It’s a quiet setting in a historical atmosphere, with a pianist playing softly. The menu gives you a different choices across-the-board without giving you too many menu items. The waitress that we had, checked on us to make sure that we were satisfied with everything without overdoing it. I would highly recommend going to 17Hundred90 if you’re looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, fine dining experience.

I was there to celebrate my husband's birthday. The ambiance was excellent. Our server, Ernie, was outstanding. It was our first time there. He explained everything thoroughly.

Restaurant: Live piano though out the entire visit—one hour 45 minutes and he never took a break—was a surprise bonus. And older and very knowledgeable waiter who had time to stop and chat, and 200 year old brick walls all made for just the experience we came to Savannah for.

The ribeye was very good and flavorful cooked at medium. The beef short rib is huge! It is so big that 2 people can eat on it for two days. I marked the ambience down one star in case haunted locations are not your thing.

Everything was wonderful! Zack, our waiter, was beyond amazing and informative. He made great recommendations, checked on things for food allergies, and was just super friendly! 13/10 recommend. And Sierra (I hope I’m spelling that right), was the cherry on top of the evening, making my husband and I feel special and congratulating us, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience! The food was delicious and I’m so glad we stopped in! Thank you for a great dinner!

This was a great experience! My husband and I ate here for our wedding anniversary. Madison took great care of us. The live piano music was wonderful. The whole ambience was great and cannot recommend enough.

We had an overall great experience. The piano music was wonderful, but not overpowering where you could not have conversation. Our waiter was patient and friendly, and the salmon oscar was just delicious! We will be returning diners.

Parker was a very friendly and helpful server. We shared cra stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes for an appetizers. Shared surf and turf also. Fillet was fork tender and lobster cooked to perfection! Asparagus and rizzoto cooked to perfection! Been there several times and am never disappointed! Will be back!

It is a charming and romantic restaurant. There was a lovely pianist playing. I got the rack of lamb and husband got the filet and lobster. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked. The honey biscuits were decadent and yummy. The kitchen even recognized our anniversary with our dessert. Highly recommend

Second time here, we come for atmosphere, warm cozy and sophisticated. Food is good quality but nothing exciting just the usual fine dining choices. Its the only place in the entire region that has a piano player while dining, something that was more common in the 70s.

First time eating here and had a great experience. Jefferson was our server. He was very attentive and personable without being overbearing. The Borsin chicken was delicious as was the 1790 Salad. :) loved the piano as well.
