Great food. However, computer issues impacted quality of service. Not a fault of the staff but the technology.
Service could be more attentive as it took too long to be acknowledged by the server and get our drinks.

I've eaten at many steak houses around the country, including some very high end ones. This is one of the best I've eaten at. Highly recommend it.
Great evening for an anniversary dinner. Excellent service and extremely comfortable seating. Quiet enough for conversation though with a nice buzz. Two slip ups on the food front reduced my rating: steak was over cooked and had to be redone; coffee was lukewarm and sent back as well. Still....we’ll be back.
For the cost of dining here it misses a lot of details.
Our server was Ashley and she was awesome! She was very patient with our group and the food was excellent! The steaks are excellent and done perfectly! All the sides were so tasty - lobster mac, asparagus and mushrooms - everything was perfect. We will be back and we will highly recommend for friends!

This is not our first dining experience at 1700/AdLib and will not be our last. The food, service, drinks and dining experience is so precise, and consistently great. Bravo, your excellence should set a new standard for which other establishments should strive to achieve.

When we asked to see a champagne list our waiter Issac said “I’ll bring you a nice low to mid level champagne”. WHAT????? We were shock and insulated! Completely put a damper on our 30th Anniversary and our sons 26th birthday dinner. Very disappointed.
Very good food and the waitress was great! Due to the atmosphere it did take a while to get our food, but everything was great and worth the wait!

1700 degrees was on their game for our dinner on Thursday. Absolutely outstanding in every way, especially the service, the great atmosphere, and the Ribeye. A great choice and a great suggestion from the staff. Cooked to perfection with great flavor and spices. The mushroom medley is amazing as well. The best bread basket ANYWHERE. The salted butter!!mmmmm

What we went for was covered, albeit only with one choice: a dry-aged steak. The only aged steak on the menu, the NY strip, was indeed superbly aged, perfectly seasoned, magnificently cooked, and delicious. Served in the "style" we selected, with oyster mushrooms, cipollini onions, and excellent roasted garlic bearnaise, it was also a good value.
First courses and a la carte sides were comparatively slack. A dish of gnocchi and ramps contained no ramps (it seemed that leeks had been substituted) and was sodden in a tasteless broth which surely must have been intended to be tightened up as a sauce but most definitely had not been. Similarly, the well-intentioned take on creamed spinach was more like spinach soup. Creamed spinach should hold together, not spread all over the plate. The breadcrumb topping, anticipated to be buttery and golden, was not. Potato puree, on the other hand, could scarcely have been better, although was a bit skimpy in terms of quantity for a shared side.
Our shared dessert of the chocolate peanut cake was quite good and a perfect sweet finish, but espresso was shockingly bad - no crema whatsoever, and no more concentrated than drip coffee.
The house cocktail selection was admirable, if citrus-heavy, and wines offered by the glass were adequate.
That 1700 degree finishing oven does its job very well; everything else needs to be brought up to its level.

First time trying this restaurant. Everyone in our party of 4 was very pleasantly surprised. Salads for appetizers were very fresh and properly dressed. Entrees with the pairings were mouth watering and the sides we selected - truffle lobster mac and cheese, grilled asparagus, and garlic sauteed mushrooms were amazing. A definitely do over!

The food and service were very good. I had trouble with wine list, again. Wife and I have dined here for many years including when the Golden Sheaf was premier in Hbg. Last few visits have only been marred by not having multiple selections in stock. The wine lists appearing on line are not accurate. Often older wines are gone and not removed from said lists. i.e Montelena Est. Zin '05, Ravenswood Monte Rosso '01,Cline Mourvedre '99. Jadot Chambolle-Musigny '05, La Chaize Brouilly (no vint. mentioned). etc. Those aforementioned were not available on last visit. I was very surprised when the last selection that I guessed would be found was actually found, delicious, Harmand-Geoff. Nuite-St.George En Jouise 2010, not priced on web lists, $156. on bill. The dinner before that, in late '18 I think, was an adventure in frustration as well. This was post Joe Carrol, who came with the last bottle of old, Bonny Doon O

A restaurant that can boast of Wine Spectator awards, in my humble opinion, should not have only a small percentage of the list actually available. Thanks for all of the good meals over the years. This was my second experience and it lived up to the expectations I had from the first. Everything about the evening was perfect. The soup was fantastic, the steak was amazing, but I didn’t have room for dessert. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is great. I really enjoy the fact you let patrons select a knife. I look forward to coming back and I would recommend 1700 to anyone looking for some quality food in a fine establishment.

Had the waygu filet. Was excellent. The creamed spinach was terrible.
The BEST steak in Central PA...hands down! Dinner was wonderful and the service was prompt. The only problem we ever have at 2700 is the noise level. The acoustics in the restaurant are not good and can quickly ruin a romantic dinner.

The food was outstanding, however, the wait staff was not up to the caliber that a restaurant like this should have. We placed our order, it took 1 hour for the waiter to inform us that the computer system was not sending orders to the kitchen, it also took 1 hour for him to bring the bread, and we had to ask several times for our water to be refilled. We would return because the food was amazing, however, would request to be seated at another location to avoid the wait staff we had. Communication and being attentive is a must especially when you are spending what you do on the meal served at this location. The staff should be as great as the food.
This restaurant is phenomenal, the food is always exceptional. I highly recommend the filet or pork chop, the seafood platter as an appetizer is also a must. As far as a cocktail, you can’t go to 1700 without trying the Smoke em if you got em. I recommend ordering one at the bar before dining so you watch it being made, really neat experience.
It was nice having the room to ourselves though it wasn't planned that way. Our waiter Rob was wonderful and very knowledgeable! The food was wonderful (I savored every bite)! I recommend 1700 for any event!
