15th & Vine Kitchen And Bar Ratings and Reviews
Went here to celebrate my birthday and really enjoyed it. We met Thursday at 9:30 for dinner and most of the restaurant was empty except for our party and a few people watching the game. The meal came out in a timely manner, as well as, our drinks. The waiter was super attentive, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. It’s was a fun and relaxed dining experience. We will definitely come again.
Awful, rude service from the second we walked into the empty restaurant. We were snidely asked if we had a reservation (yes, but the place was completely empty). Took forever to get food and the waiter acted like he hated that we were there. Food was great, but so not worth it. Would never go back.
This place was awful. Felt like a Holiday Inn breakfast cafeteria. Took 20 minutes to get a Diet Coke and then the server never came back. Waited another 20 minutes before having to chase someone down to pay and leave. Didn't bother ordering any food, the "brunch" menu was less than subpar. Don't bother coming here. Waste of time!
Visited to have brunch. Food was good and menu options were great and therefore took a while to determine which option we would go for. Andrez was our waiter and he was very helpful and attentive. The building is old and not quite like other W hotels but we had a great time
Much too loud for a Sunday brunch - save the live DJ for a different day/time. Miami Spice brunch menu has great entree choices. Appetizer was choice of two salads - not what I expect or want at brunch. The eggs Benedict were wonderful. The key lime pie is delicious! Service started out very slow but improved as we went along.
They should not be open for lunch during construction!!!! We were contacted by the hostess regarding the deck being closed but no warning on the actual impact it would have on our meal. Still decided to uber 25 minutes there - only to find the noise INSIDE intolerable. The worst dining experience we had in Miami. The one upside was meeting manager Will Rogers when stopping back for an item we left behind (another story...)
Terrible food, setas overcooked sent back all 4 platos, bill over 400 USD not worth it at all, the meet was from Publix Awful experience, no one there, should close down and re open under the new management when it is ready. no one at the bar on the 50th floor either, a DEAD place right now,
Visited 15th and Vine because I wanted to get out of my normal lunch routine yet still have a view while enjoying some good food. Sadly, the view was obstructed due to renovations. You can see part of the bay but certainly not as nice without obstruction.
Nonetheless, the experience was pleasant. It's not too big but definitely well spaced out and nicely decorated. It was empty, with about a total of 5 patrons including my party of 2. So it definitely isn't loud and provides a good venue for good conversation.
The food was excellent. I had the Grilled Cauliflower and Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Lettuce (They allowed the substitution for the flour tortilla). Both were incredibly tasty.
The service was fantastic.
My only gripe, you have to valet which if more than an hour was $16 and the restaurant does not validate. Also, to find the restaurant and/or get back to the lobby could be a little challenging even with signs and common sense.
Overall, it's certainly a place to go visit at least once and I certainly wouldn't mind visiting again, just not sure I would make it a "go to" lunch spot.
We dined at 15th and Vine for Mother's Day and the typical brunch menu looked outstanding. However, the Mother's Day Brunch was not very good, or worth the value. It's my understanding that a brunch menu consist of both breakfast and lunch items. The menu was filled with lunch items and lacked all breakfast criteria besides Mimosas. I was completely underwhelmed with the selection. I had such high hopes for my Mother's Day.
The service from the hostess' was amazing the were extremely nice, the waiter was a bit on the serious side and didn't stand out much. It is a beautiful place the decor and location is amazing. We sat inside by the windows and the view was fantastic (you can even see the water). There is a terrace which would have been lovely to sit at if the weather was good. The food was good I was satisfied with it, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. Overall I really enjoyed the place i would defiantly recommend it.
The restaurant and outside seating is comfortable for most events and light meals. Would recommend dinning inside for the space, as the tables outside for dinning are few and more for finger food and drinks. Overall the place is well distributed and comfortable. Right now the view is partially obstructed due to construction, but should return soon.
after we were seated we questioned the waiter as to why the menu had a limited number of offerings. we were told that the main kitchen had recently caught on fire and the they are unable to offer a complete menu. They should have updated the menu on line or offered this information when I booked the reservation. Very disappointed with restaurant and booking website.
We had a reservation and were sat at a nice table outside in the shade for brunch. The DJ music and view were great. But it took 20 minutes before we were greeted by the waiter. Service was terrible. We'd ask for something and the waiter would go missing for a very long period of time. We got our food before our drink order, which we ordered the cocktails when we sat down. We ordered the huevos rancheros, which was more like a small bowl of black bean soup with a side of chips and WAY overpriced. We mentioned our dissatisfaction about the service to the waiter and he did comp the 2 drinks. With so many great places to go in Miami, this was a pure disappointment. We live in the Brickell area and won't be dining here again.
We went for new year's eve that was a set 4. course meal. The food was below par and tasteless, also having to send an overcooked steak back to the kitchen. Not fun. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, especially of you sit outside. However for new year they did nothing special, not even a count down at midnight. Very disappointing and overpriced experience.
As we were staying in the hotel we made a reservation for early on Xmas eve but the restaurant was very quiet, suprisingly. We had a nice view of the city and all the Xmas decorations on the buildings.
The staff were welcoming.
Starters - scallop and dragon fruit ceviche and spiny lobster vermicelli were both excellent.
Main courses of the steak and scallops were also very tasty although not as exciting as our starters. We were too full for dessert. The drinks were well made and there was a good choice available.
Overall the W hotels are known for having an amazing dining experience. However 15th & Vine was absolutely one of the worst experiences I had. The ambiance was dull, and the service was definitely far from attentive. The server forgot to charge a meal and as we had left and was waiting at the valet the waiter had the nerve to yell that we had not paid. After making it seem as we had left without paying rather the waiter was incompetent and did not charge us I had to go ahead and go all the way back to the restaurant and pay. Not only was the waiter extremely rude for making such hasty accusations in front of everyone at the valet, the manager once she became aware of the situation made sarcastic remarks and dismissed me. Overall the service was just rude and unprofessional. The food was okay however nothing out of the ordinary.
