12th Ave. Grill
The food was delicious as expected. I had the special of the day, Filet Mignon, and it was cooked
perfectly as I ordered. The waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu and did his best to keep us not waiting for the next course. The only thing that put us off about this restaurant is that we were told we had 1 1/2 hours to complete our meal and this was when they were trying to reconfirm our reservation which was about two hours before our reservation. If they had told us this when I had made the reservation, I would not have booked it.

Decent food but not as good as when they first opened at their original location. Flavors were just OK and is overpriced for what it is.
Very professional waithelp and great food. We all enjoyed our dinners.
12th Ave Grille met its high standards and our expectations. The monjong entree and the squash soup were both outstanding . Our first course choices -- the smoked ahi bruschetta and farmers market salad -- were fresh, flavorful and expertly seasoned. We were delighted with the whole experience.
The food, the service were great. Supports local agriculture! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back. Very good value as well. Highly recommend.
Staff was very accommodating, allowing us to move to a new table with lower noise level to help with my father’s difficult hearing. Much appreciated. Food was well prepared and waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Fried chix was good but a little salty. Is so buco was over cooked burnt and tough. Dessert wine and tomato salad were very good. Kevin was great.
The short "Manager" with glasses greeted us when we arrived. Unfortunately we arrived early and were subjected to a lecture on how they could not seat us, although the restaurant was half full and never filled. This guy was bleeding arrogance and self importance. My fish was overcooked, no care was taken in the cooking, getting our wine poured was a never, we did it ourselves.
I have been here before, and the only people in the restaurant that do not have their heads up there are the bartenders. The ONLY place to eat is at the bar, at least you do not feel like they are doing you a favour.
Arrogant restaurants will eventually fail, they always do, look at Town, no one needs an over-priced arrogant dining experience.
Had a fantastic post wedding reception dinner for out of town guests, including a family from Italy. To my was outstanding in his service as always. Everyone raved at the meal, surroundings and service.
12th Avenue Grill is one of our favorite restaurants. We love the food which is very tasty and you can get small plates which are delicious. The brussels sprout salad and macaroni and cheese are the best. They also have inventive and interesting entrees as well as really delicious desserts. The service is superb. We have had Tony for years and no one can tell you about specials better than he can. He makes you want to order everything because it all sounds so good. We had Ree for the first time the other night and she was also outstanding.
Personal service as if we were locals. The food was the type of experience which is tasteful and enticing at the same time. Go and have fun!!! We did.
Food was good, server was a little annoying with his comments.
Fantastic service and food! I would recommend 12th Ave. Grill to anyone who wants a great meal and be served like royalty.
Alaways amazing service , food and experience . Always a good idea for any occasion. These people always take are and prices are great !
Great food and impeccable service. Waiter was one of the best I have experienced. Plates came out with perfect timing. Best meal I had on Oahu.
Great food and service
This neighborhood gem never disappoints. Reliably tasty menu items and inventive daily additions make each experience memorable. The staff is highly attentive to your needs so conversations can continue without interrupting the service flow. It’s a hit!
Food was fine. Special fish meal was outstanding. Service was good. Food just came too quickly. Felt rushed.
I am a regular at this fine place. The food and service is always great!
It never disappoints. Bread was kind of stale, but we were hungry and ate it anyway! Please put a nice pinot grigio, not gris on your wine list
We enjoyed our meal, had a good table, and Nick is a great waiter. Lucky for us, we got a same-day reservation. Lamb osco bucco was wonderful, as we're the lamb burger, steak frittes, and the U10 scallops. Guava bread pudding was a great finish. I always get the lemon, ginger, and mint martini because it is perfect.
This place is awesome. From beginning to end the food and service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.
2 starters were fantastic . Smoked ahi and ahi tartare. However the other two below standards. Calamare soggy Brussels sprouts tasteless. Our waiter was very professional and pleasant. He deducted the calamare from the bill. In the past we always were super happy, the reason for us coming back. May Be it was a one off situation
Drinks were excellent. Deep fried avocado REALLY good. Lamb osso buco overdone. Fried chicken (and lamb) salty. Entrees came too quickly. We were comped the lamb and that was appreciated. Nice people. The strength seems to be the bar - very well done.
Always outstanding! One of our favorites for delicious comfort food
I live on Maui and was visiting friends on Oahu for this occasion. We wanted a delicious meal and cocktails at a nice place that had a little bit of a fun vibe to it. The food was delicious, though a bit salty (chicken Jidori), cocktails were great, and atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Wait staff was great! Will go back again when on Oahu.
Amazing experience!! I have been dreaming of the Brussels sprout salad ever since!! Superior service as well. I highly recommend
Solid, but unspectacular. The waitress was not too knowledgeable about the dishes--asked a question about the preparation of the ribeye. She said it was just grilled (and I realize that is what a la plancha means), it definitely would have been nice to know about the sauce and especially the balsamic vinegar added on top. While I knew it was in the dish, I figured the onions would be on the side and not all over the steak.
Great food! Excellent service! Similar food like Alan Wong’s restaurant in a low key ambience. Our waiter is extremely knowledgeable on food and beverage items.
Great food. Would go back again. Parking was convenient.
Very easy to find parking in the parking lot nearby. We ordered calamari, salad and short ribs. The calamari was sitting in a pool of barbecue sauce and another white sauce was dribbled over the calamari. Didn’t care for either sauce and it would have been better if the sauce was on the side rather than poured over the calamari.
There were 3 very meaty short ribs with a bone. The meat fell off the bone easily but it was very chewy, dry and tasted like it had been cooked too long. It was extremely disappointing.
どれも微妙な味。
一味も二味も足りない感じです。
地元の雰囲気が良いレストラン風。
Enjoyed a wonderful birthday with Delicious food and company! 🎂
Found the food ok at best. Favorite thing was the bread and butter. Special fish of the day was over cooked (very dry). Had anticipated that there would be an acknowledgement of this being a birthday dinner with a birthday desert- there was nothing. Doubtful I’d ever go back again.
This is my definitely my go to place to eat. The restaurant is located outside of the insanity of Waikiki in quiet Kamiuki town. Tons of parking - paid but cheap. There's also street parking if you're more patient than I am. I enjoy meals and drinks there whether if it's for a birthday, business pau hana, dinner with someone special, Family gatherings or even solo. Food is amazing never disappoints. Great selection of drinks and the staff is the best. If you haven't been you have to go.
I love this restaurant. Defiantly one of my top 5. The food is always great!
Whenever I do go to 12th Ave I have Kevin or Tony as my server which makes my dinning experience great. However, last night was different because I had a different server. I can’t remember his name but he was not as great as Tony and Kevin. He took a long time to take our drinks, didn’t look in on us as much as he should have, and he sort of had a bit of an attitude towards the end of the evening. Perhaps it was because it was getting busier .
If you do go please ask the hostess/host to seat you in Kevin or Tony’s section.
We ordered two salads (mixed green and farmers), mac & cheese, salmon daily special, steak frites, lobster risotto, and fruit cobbler and affogato for dessert. Everything was good, but would've been better if the flavors weren't so strong. I prefer a subtle blending of flavors rather than overpowering dishes. Everything was a bit over the top from the salads which had too much dressing, to the lobster risotto that was too rich and had a strong lobster flavor, to the affogato which had a huge chocolate covered biscotti with three scoops of ice cream and a tiny bit of espresso. The best dishes of the night were the salmon and fruit cobbler. I would've enjoyed the food much better if the flavors were a bit lighter and cleaner tasting instead of so rich and overpowering. I think this is why we haven't been back to this restaurant in a while, but wanted to give it another try since they changed locations and we like to see if the quality of the food gets better through the years. The service is really good though. Overall, I would go back here because our grandmas enjoyed dinner and the atmosphere is really nice with that neighborhood restaurant feel, but hope the chef can tone down the flavors a bit.
