1225Raw Sushi And Sake Lounge Ratings and Reviews
This was very disappointing night. The door was open to the patio and it was 58 degrees we had to eat dinner with our coats on. The service was the worst....15 minutes to get the drink after it was ordered. Food was good but there is a lot more that goes into a good dining experience that just food. Go somewhere else.
Great selection of sake and sushi. I had the korean rice bowl and it was delicious. The server made the meal by guiding us the whole way and even offering up great advice for places to hit up afterwards. We were in town visiting so when we go back up we'll make sure to visit.
Raw has a fun vibe and the wait staff is happy to explain the menu without getting snooty with people who might not be familiar with Japanese cuisine. Service was a little slow, and the menu is fairly standard, but it's nicely prepared and tasty. I will come back.
The food at Raw is consistently very good and gets to the table in a reasonable time. The service from the waitress could have been better though. Took way too long to get our drinks and the check. Not sure why bc half the seats were empty. Food is sublime though.
My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful meal together outside on the patio. The anbiance was delightful and the vibe, positive and cheerful. Our dinner, of sushi and other small plates, was delish. The service was very attentive. Look forward to our next visit.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but I'm not sure if I'll go back in he near future. The shichimi steak BBQ was really bad - so bland other than chili pepper powder on it... service was bad - not sure if they were just too busy on that day - I wanted to order more food and my glass was empty for a long time but no waiter / waitress came by... and then they added 20% tips automatically - we had 3 adults and 2 kids - I think most other restaurants do this only when you have a party of 6 or more.
The food and drinks were amazing but service was disappointing. We arrived for happy hour and shared California roll, spicy broiled salmon roll, and the dark horse roll - all great, especially the dark horse! Our server did not pay much attention to us though and would only come over when I waved my hand in the air for his attention. He ended up forgetting to bring us our drinks twice so we didn't even bother ordering more. I'd definitely go back for the food but hopefully service improves next time...
The food was fantastic. Our server was awesome. The location has a great indoor eating area and the outdoor eating area is fantastic. Of course, it helps when the weather is nice - and we had amazing weather. Great drink options and the Sake we chose was cold and delicious. Love that it is not part of a franchise and the intimate vibe.
The food was reasonably good, but the restaurant tries to use artistic plates which are way over-sized for a two top table and you could barely fit anything else on the table -it made eating very uncomfortable. They served a six piece spicy tuna roll on a monster size plate - just doesn't make sense for such a tiny table top.
