About 121 Restaurant and Bar - Oxford
121 Restaurant has been serving the Oxford and the larger western New Haven community since 2007. The use of organic and sustainable products guarantees our dishes represent the freshest quality available.
Patrons can often view small jets taking off and landing as the large open space faces Oxford airport’s runway and taxi-ways. The restaurant’s modern ”airport themed” décor contrasted against its “American favorites” cuisine, will have the most reserved diner soaring to new heights.

121 Restaurant and Bar - Oxford Ratings and Reviews
Dissapointed that on open table I explained it was my wife's birthday that was completely ignored during our visit. I asked the hostess when leaving if they recognize open table requests such as a birthday celebrations, and they said they do but nothing was noted during our dinner and she did not ask us what happened
One of our favorite spots. Location is difficult to find if not familiar with the area. The views at the airport are fantastic at sunset. Visited for Fathers Day this time. Was slightly noisier than normal most likely due to the higher amount of young children. Service was a little less than what we have previously experienced also most like due to the volume of diners at a prime dinner time. Would recommend for a great food and dining experience.
Father's Day lunch. Very loud inside Dining Room so we moved immediately to the lovely terrace. Cloth napkins and a nice venue. Had a app of yummy chicken wings, we had the jumbalaya special which was filled with chicken, mussels etc. I had a large burger, which was tasteless on a burger that tasted like it had burnt grill marks. We will give it another try.
Mother's Day is never the best time to go to any restaurant, but despite 121 being filled to capacity this past Sunday, the service was quite satisfactory and the food was great. I had the grilled salmon, fingerling potatoes and haricot verts, and the salmon was cooked to perfection and brought to the table hot, something that rarely happens at most restaurants even when they aren't being slammed with orders. Great job on a super busy day!
Overall perfect day ,we had our mom out for lunch after a lengthy hospital stay an being wheelchair bound we thought it would have been a problem ,but, your staff stepped right in to accommodate and made us feel welcome .no problems whatsoever ,we thank you for that it was her day an you all made it thst way. Thank you. K. Bragg
You won't be disappointed with this restaurant. They do a good job with both food and drinks. The backdrop of the Oxford Airport doesn't hurt either. The first time going there may have you thinking that you might be going in the wrong direction but don't be deterred. This gem is nestled in a neat little spot that is comfortable and cozy.
The wait staff do a great job. It does get busy at times and that may cause a bit of a lag, but folks it's well worth it.
Something has changed not for good with the way the hanger steak used to be cooked and presented. This time the entire dish lacked flavor, the mashed potatoes as if these were out of a box. The presentation not the same where in the past the steak was on top of the mashed, this time not. The steak just did not even seem the same quality meat. Hope this was an ups! We visit frequently, my wife looks forward to that dish.
We also ordered the calamari and a burger. These were good choices but again not the 121 standard.
Service was excellent!
