Food is fabulous, fresh ingredients, great preparation. Service was polite, but I think they need more servers.
Nice first time here. Food was good great service
Highly recommend, however they do not have Valet parking. Parking across the street at Bloc costs $42.00 which is a rip off. If you go, give yourself plenty of time to find parking and ample time to walk to restaurant.
I was travelling to Downtown LA mid-February. We were looking for a restaurant for an early dinner seating for 4 before we went to the Philharmonic. It was Valentine's Day, so it was difficult to get a reservation. I was fortunate to make a reservation at 10e.
The day before the reservation, I received a call from the restaurant, but they didn't leave a voicemail. I decided to call the restaurant to confirm. They then informed me that it was going to be a $75 Prix Fixe four-course menu, and that they weren't serving the a la carte menu at all that evening. I asked whether they had vegetarian options, because one in our party is a vegetarian. She had no idea. She then said that I would need to call back to give a credit card to hold the reservation. For some reason, she could not take the credit card at that moment, nor did OpenTable ask for a credit card hold, as they sometimes do. Frustrated, I checked their website as well as OpenTable, and there was nothing about the Prix-Fixe menu or the credit card hold. According to OpenTable, all was OK.
The day of the reservation, less than one hour before, I decided to confirm my reservation details with OpenTable again, only to find out that the restaurant cancelled our reservation. Frustrated, I called the restaurant and asked them why. Again, she had no idea. Fortunately, they would still be able to seat us at our previously confirmed time slot.
The restaurant was half empty, throughout our meal. The front staff were constantly on their 'phones, apathetic to customers and their needs. For a good restaurant, it's no wonder why they were half empty. The front was killing them.
While the restaurant and the food were nice, the front staff should be fired. Quickly. Otherwise, 10e may suffer dearly at the hands of an incompetent front.
Food was great! Service was great and the food was better. We thought we were going out on a limb with a few items and we devoured everything! can't wait to go back!!!!
The food was extremely disappointing. Ambiance wasnt much to write home about either. Would def not come back here.
The food and the ambiance were outstanding. I usually do not want to go back to a restaurant after trying it but I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK HERE!
I wanted to like this place but was disappointed by the poor service and the 20% gratuity that was added on to the bill. I took my parents who were visiting. The food was good though too expensive for what it was. I had to ask the hostess several times for a waiter to come to the table. It was disappointing and loud to boot.
Food is beyond amazing and such caring and wonderful service
Loved it. Wonderful Dinner Menu and Wine and Drink Menu. Great atmosphere. Great service.
10e is a gem in DTLA. If you are looking for excellent Mediterranean cuisine for a reasonable price is a great atmosphere, this is the place. The focus on Lebanese cooking gives the food a nice spin on traditional fare. Try the sujuk as a case in point.
It was an amazing lunch. Took recommendations of server and loved chickpea hummus with wonderful “pita pillows”,honey/kale salad and chicken swarms. Yum!!
Food better than expected
Great meals and apps.
Food and service was excellent
This is our second time at 10e and DineLA happen to be going on so we went with the prefix menu. The value was spectacular and food was delicious. Staff and service was great.
The food was incredible. We were please with everything we ordered. Every dish was fresh and so flavorful. The staff was friendly, the music was good, and the food was delicious. We visited 10e during DineLA and wanted to try a restaurant we haven’t been to before. I’m so glad we went to 10e. We’ll definitely return again soon.
Thank you Chef food was delicious. Our waiter was Great! Yes definitely give a try
Great food, beautiful space, friendly service. We had a table in the front of the restaurant that looked out onto 7th with great people watching. Will return and would definitely reccommend.
Quiet, warm atmosphere! Superb service! Live entertainment on New Years Eve! Delicious homemade food! What special place!
Awesome food & great service. It’s a little hidden, but I’ll Be spreading this word!
We had a great experience at 10e. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server did a great job. We got to taste a wide variety of dishes without breaking the bank.
Been here several times and is great every time. Absolutely delicious. Love the small plates and variety. Lamb kabobs and babaghanoush are not to be missed. Can’t stop eating the fresh pita.
No parking. No validation. Lot cost $45. Makes sense that the dining room was empty. Food great but not worth the trouble nor the cost. Won’t go back unless they deal with this.
Can't believe I've passed this place countless number of times and had no idea it was such a great restaurant. The food was fresh and spectacular, great selection of wines, and the service was good. Will definitely be going back now that I know it's there.
Nice place, delicious food
My wife and I wanted to try something different in DTLA, so we decided to reserve a lunch reservation with 10E. We had to pay for valet parking because there’s no parking on this busy street. So we parked and walked a couple of blocks to the restaurant. My wife and I had a craving for Mediterranean food and we were looking forward to a nice “date lunch”. And then we walk up to open the door to the restaurant to find out that this place is CLOSED!!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous and an absolute waste of our time (busy parents take their private time Seriously!!!). We will NEVER come to this restaurant again and we are extremely unhappy with OpenTable for booking and confirming this phony reservation!
The food was excellent. Perfect spices and excellent preparation are signatures of this place.
Food was okay but not good enough for the price. The restaurant was practically empty when we were there except some lady sitting at the bar with all of these bags and trash and belongings with her. They let her leave her stuff there while she came and went. Not exactly what you’d want to have to look at in a nice restaurant.
Excellent presentation of Lebanese cuisine.
Very good med food. Slightly pricey but good quality
Delicious food. Great ambiance and excellent service.
We went in for our reservation on a Friday night, and to our surprise there were only a couple of others people in the restaurant. By the time we left, it was much more full. Our food was okay, it was not anything special, and certainly not for the price. The best thing was by by far the freshly made pita bread, delicious! However, the serving size and spices in the rest of the food left us less than happy. The eggplant starter tasted bland, and the sauces were underwhelming. If you’re in the mood for Lebanese or middle eastern food, you are better off somewhere with a more hole-in-the-wall feel with prices to match!
The food is amazing -- I especially LOVE the appetizers. However, the service is excruciatingly slow. It took forever to get your meals. Our server was no where in site, so I finally had to walk to the back of the restaurant to look for her to ask why after 30 minutes, we still did not have our lunches. There were only 5 other tables, so it certainly was not due to a busy kitchen. This was not the first time that I experienced such slowness at 10e.
Friendly, polite service. Great food! As simple as that but so many miss the mark. They didn’t! 5 stars tonight!
The menu is fascinating and so varied it's hard to choose. That's a good thing.
The food was tasty and interesting, although possibly somewhat under-spiced.
The pricing was way too high, and adding a 20+% tip, was i feel way out of line
I might have done so myself, but I think the choice should be mine.
A new adventure to taste. Great night. Thanks
Great Middle Eastern food. Everything is delicious.
The food is fantastic, and the service was excellent! Can't wait to go back!
