We were in town visiting our son and daughter-in-law downtown and made a last minute reservation at 10e- we were pleasantly surprised. There was something for everyone, carnivores and vegetarians alike, delicious cocktails and wines as well. Not all the Lebanese wines listed on the menu were available however. The pita bread, fresh out of the ove, was amazing!
10e is an upscale restaurant, the perfect setting in DTLA in a beautiful Fine Arts building. The cuisine is Lebanese/Armenian with a Mediterranean flair.....beautiful presentation & delicious food. Original twist to the Lebanese Cuisine with a modern flair. The pita bread comes out of the oven hot & puffed with oregano-za'atar dip....the shawarma & shish Kebab was very tasty as well as the mante platter.
Nostalgie Music was playing in the background & conversing at the table was easy. I highly recommend this gem to customers who want to go beyond the regular Middle Eastern feast. We shared some dishes family style & this restaurant caters to meat lovers & vegetarians alike.
It is a bit pricy, but worth every penny. Parking was not a problem, since there was a parking structure next to it.
10e is a MUST for tourists & locals alike & it is a place to impress.......
The food is delicious! This place never fails to exceed my expectations. Yum!
Love the new experience of having Lebanese Armenian food. The food was very tasty. Love their very strong delicious coffee. Every one in restaurant very personable. We will be going back.
I’ve been recommending this place to all my friends, and recently went with a group from work. They all raved about the food. While it’s on the pricey side, the preparation and presentation make it worth it. Delicious!
Love the authenticity of their food. Everything is fresh and tasty. Love the flatbreads, freshly baked and fluffy pitas. Chicken kebab, chopped Mediterranean salad, rice pilaf and for dessert chocolate bar. Yummy
Delicious hummus, chicken and beef kabobs and grilled vegetables! I'll eat here again.
Excellent food and great service
This was our second visit to 10e with and with family this time. We had an amazing menu of Muhammara, Kibbeh Nayeh, Barramundi filet, filet mingon shawarma and Lamb Lule Kebab. All were exceptionally prepared and presented. The fresh pita comes directly from the oven as do all the bread service. A very nice bonus. We also enjoyed the Lebanese featured wines and the Gin Tonic with zatar was perfect. Service was also spot on! We highly recommend 10e for a business or family dinner. Do not miss this one in downtown LA!
Beautiful restaurant and great food. Staff is always friendly and attentive.
Great dining experience. The food was *slightly* overpriced but it was very delicious. I got the chicken kabab entree but my real favorite of the evening was the falafel appetizer. The falafel were perfectly prepared - crispy on the outside but green, moist, and spicy on the inside. The hummus and pita bread were terrific also.
The food and service was excellent.
Quality of food was high but entrees and appetizers and beverages are overpriced, even for L.A.
Best babaganoush we have ever had. Friendly staff and good ambiance. Very glad we chose this place to enjoy a meal.
Sad as the place is nice and it should be busy. The service was really slow and my lady’s breakfast came out right away, I waited for mine for 30-40 minutes after she got hers. When mine finally ddI come out, it was cold. Seriously, it was cold. Respectfully I sent it back and by the time my dish came out it was another 25 minutes or more and we just lost the vibe to our Sunday Lv brunch. Had one bite and put it aside. The waitress didn’t ask to take it off the bill or any curtesy Thoughts considering. It seemed like it like it didn’t matter. Not good business. Whoever is managing this place needs to be replaced ASAP. Now we know why no one goes there for brunch. Unfortunately we spent the money on this place to try something new and bot cheap. Unfortunately we will most likely never go there again.
Just being honest.
The food and service at 10e are consistently excellent. Every time I leave, I can’t wait to come back.
Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. The waiting staff was very attentive and the food was well prepared, presented and tasty.
Delicious! I’m very familiar with Lebanese food, so it was a little pricier than I’m used to but everything was lovely! Thx
Excellent food. I'd come here as an alternative to Bavel. We took some leftovers home expecting to eat them for lunch, but my kids devoured them before before we had a chance. Now they want to go with us next time.
Loved everything. Will definitely come back.
Wonderful food, great service, will return regularly
Best humus I’ve ever had ( and I’ve had a lot) - food was fresh and tasty
Nice place, friendly service, pleasant seating. Dishes ,we ordered, were fresh and hot. Reasonable prices made this a great spot to return to.
The photos on open table looked promising, but honestly, I will not be returning here. There were only two other parties in the restaurant, and the portions were small/overpriced. The drinks were good, but again the portions were too small for the prices. Food was good but only had a few bites of chicken and salad.
Let me start with the positive: the food is very good. That's why I came back for a third visit last night. But what happened Saturday night is unconscionable, which is why I'm writing the first review I've ever done in OpenTable and warning others -- or, better, assuming they're reading these reviews -- inspiring them to make an important change. So we ordered the Kale salad and asked them to add salmon to it, which I've done the past two times I've been there. This time when the bill came, I was charged $34 for the salmon -- the same price as the full entree! When I asked the waiter, he explained that the entrees no longer came with any accompaniments, and the addition to a salad was the same as the entree price. He apologized for not telling me that beforehand. He did not offer to adjust the bill price -- and I didn't ask him. There are many of us that like to add meat to our salads and this is the first restaurant I've ever been to that charges you the same -- whether it's a side or a main course. Most, appropriately, charge you less for a side. Worse case, if you as a restaurant decide to do something like this -- which is, by far, a major exception to the rule -- then you need to warn people when they order the side meat that the charge would be the same. If we had known, we would not have ordered it. And if someone like us asks about this with their waiter after the fact and you admit you didn't let the them know, then take responsibility for the mistake and take something off the bill. This why my review is so low and I'll not be back.
Family get together.
service was mediocre especially for the price you’re going to pay for a dinner of 2. Waiter was terrible, host was slow. Waited for 10 min while the hostess was nowhere to be found. Reservation at 715. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it’s a Saturday night I get it. I look inside and it’s NOT even full. Waiter was slow and inattentive. Placed our order, waited 30-40 minutes for our food to come out, not even a single update from the waiter about the food, no apology, no refills. Over all experience, probably will not come back. Sadly this place was recommended by a work friend to be a great serviced restaurant.
Tender chicken kebabs with sumac and a just right amount/hint of char; pita pillows fresh out of the oven, tasty by themselves, but couldn't stop eating with the za'atar and yogurt dip; loved the tender and not a hint of bitter brussels spouts with roasted grapes, fig jam, micro greens and yogurt. Friendly service. Love this place, can't wait to return many times.
Sophisticated meal of mush.
We went for Valentines Day dinner, a four course meal. The food quality was terrible, almost food-truckish. Like eating at a fast food place. It was a rip off for the price of $250 we paid for two. Food tasted like a $5-10 meal. The ambience and decor was boring, could have been decorated more for the occasion. I would never go here again.
- texture of hummus was watered down
- lobster tail - where do I begin? It was rubber. Couldn’t down it.
- pita bread - initially was uncooked. Had to request cooked bread
- grape leaves - could barely cut it in half, too sour, cheap quality like everything else
- dessert - next! The pistachio ice cream melted in no time and had no pistachios, full on artificial flavoring
- champagne - extremely low quality, couldn’t drink it
Place was expensive for a small portion but the food was good. They took forever with my dessert i ended up leaving.
Even with Valentines Day crowd, food was outstanding. Our service for our table of 8 was attentive. Lamb, lobster and filet were all cooked to perfection. Hot pita with starters was also a nice touch. Noise level was not too high. The featured musician made the evening. Well done!
10e was a walk-by find. I checked out the menu, made a reservation, and discovered my new favorite restaurant in DTLA. I have already booked a repeat visit. Food was excellent! Service was good. Couldn't wish for anything better.
We ordered the Family Style land version and everything was delicious! One of us got the vegetarian flatbread (turned it vegan by omitting cheese) and that bread was the most airy and soft bread ever. It was a great place, a little pricey but a great experience.
The food was really good but our server seemed to be overwhelmed and trying to take on too much. He was waiting tables as well as making drinks behind the bar which lead to waiting 30 minutes to get the expresso’s and icrecream we ordered for dessert. We mentioned something to hostess but never a response as to why but about 10-15 mins again to wait for them to have someone else bring it to us. The service needs some real improvement but again food is great.
Great brunch spot in DTLA. Never been disappointed with the food or service. Always surprisingly empty when we come. This is always for their brunch. I have never been here in the evenings. Might be busier at that time. But again, food is excellent. Portions fair. Flavors on point!!
If you’re looking for a different spin on brunch, quiet, no rush atmosphere where you can enjoy the company of friends with good food and drink, this is the place!!
Many great choices for a vegan couple.
Delicious food, especially chicken shawarma and Brussel sprouts
Outstanding food and service, at first we thought the service was going to be rough, as out waiter seemed to be alone... but he ended up being amazing! We will be back💝
Very good food and excellent service.
