Quiet Friday night after Thanksgiving and we needed someplace for dinner with our daughter and her family - including our granddaughters 3 and 6! Also to appease a variety of tastes from steak to vegetarian. This is the perfect place - everyone was happy- especially the girls and the parents! and with half price bottles of wine during happy hour it was great value!

Met for dinner and this was perfect. The staff was attentive but not obtrusive. The menu was diverse and we both enjoyed our food. This was my first visit and I will go back.

Always comfortable, steady comfort food and uncrowded. Not pleased by feeling nickel & dimed by policy of charging for vegetable substitution after having ordered three entrees and drinks. Seems penny wise and pound foolish on part of mgmnt.

I have been here a few times. Despite some positive reviews it never seems well-frequented. Especially compared to a few places within shouting distance. Service was friendly but not that attentive, especially given the fact that there were only a few other occupied tables---although the bar stools were filled. The fried chicken was good but the burgers were obviously frozen patties. Drinks are not cheap. I can only recommend this place if you need a quick bite in this neighborhood and want something safe but not spectacular.

Why did Open Table and 107 West allow me to make a 10 PM reservation, when that's when their kitchen closes? It's not fun looking for a late night bite to eat on the Upper West Side

I went there for sushi. They no longer sell sushi. They changed their menu one week before I ate there, but it wasn't updated anywhere online.

The menu is now american/ mexican.
The food is fine but nothing to write home about.

The host of this welcoming, cosy restaurant was most helpful as we tried to find a table good for our hearing needs. One of the 4 ordered squash soup, which was excellent. The others shared large salads. Two of us had the special cornish hen, which in addition to being delicious, was such generous that we had the left overs as an additional dinner.
Wine was half priced.
Service was very professional and attentive.
We will return

Our friends in the neighborhood recommended 107 west for a Saturday night dinner. We all loved it and decided upon it as our next go to dinner option. I got the swordfish which was grilled perfectly - flavorful and moist - and the other 3 people got the duck which was also delicious. The vegetables were fresh and not overdone. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The host/owner (I think) was warm and accessible. Moreover, the prices were very reasonable, unlike many of the overpriced restaurants in the city. I highly recommend 107 West if you like good, healthy food, cosy ambience, and excellent service at a reasonable cost.

Was surprised by the strong reviews this restaurant receives, as we had a very mediocre experience. The menu is very diverse, including sushi, pizza, Mexican, and "contemporary" American. My experience has been that most restaurants rarely are successul with such an eclectic menu, and 107 West confirmed this. None of the dishes were bad, just unremarkable. Unclear what type of restaurant 107 West is trying to be. Service was OK, but not particularly attentative.

Our dinner at 1:07 West was excellent. The prices are exceptionally reasonable and the food was delicious. We had salmon and we also ordered a Japanese bento box. The restaurant was quiet which I really appreciated because I don't hear that well. Service was excellent. Thank you 107

I thought the menu looked interesting so decided to give it a try. on further inspection I realized that the restaurant seems just not to have a clear identity. Is it mexican, per the gratis nachos with the wierdest poblemo sauce, not salsa, or asian, or southern ?Pasta ...is it Italian? We ordered sushi , fried chicken with okra and mashed potatoes and a fish taco. Was later informed that the sushi chef had not yet arrived. Taco was petite but tasty with no thought to presentation. Fried chicken was good. Service was attentive and it was quiet. We were one of only 3 parties in tbe place. 4 pm is of course an in between time.

Food here is always good and ample and it was quite up to par on this occasion. Service, however, was very very slow. We waited for half an hour for our food. There was a large party on the porch which may be the reason. We eat there frequently, and usually don't have this problem. Hope it was a blip. Other friends in the area said that the place had "gone down" but didn't specify. We like 107 and hope they will continue as they were before.

So glad we found this restaurant. As I was coming from New Jersey to pick up my Manfriend at JFK Airport, I was exhausted and hoped I got to the restaurant on time. I called and said I would be about a half hour and the hostess was accommodating and said it would be no problem. We were quickly seated when we arrived and the servers took our order with such professionalism. The Red Dragon sushi was absolutely fresh and delicious. The entrees we had- pan-seared marinated steak and crab cakes were delicious. We shared the bread pudding which I was told is homemade and it is delicious. Will definitely recommend and return!

This modest neighborhood restaurant produces a wide variety of dishes and every one I have ever had has been terrific. Their desserts are fabulous, their wine list modest and fairly priced, and service is always pleasant. And have I mentioned the prices? Phenomenal bang for the buck and there is something for everyone...

They have a lot of variety in the menu. The food was excellent, as was the service. Definitely coming back, as there are more items I would like to try. REALLY good cocktails. I gave the ambiance a three because there's too much going on from an architectural/decor perspective. Seemed a bit cheesy, but still a relaxing, quiet environment for a Saturday evening couples dinner. Also, the half table/half booth we were seated at seemed a bit lopsided and uncomfortable on the booth side. But seriously, no complaints about the food, cocktails, and service :)

The crab cake appetizer served on endive and chunky guacamole was excellent. My friend had the fried chicken entree with mashed potatoes and garlicky spinach. She was delighted and took home the second piece of chicken because the portion was generous. I enjoyed a specialty cocktail suggested by the server--who was sweet and informative. This place has been going strong for a long time and that's because of the service and fabulously eclectic but always dependable menu. The brunch is also tasty and generous.

We picked it because it was a block from a performance we were attending at the Bloomingdale School of Music, which we drove in from Cleveland to see. We chose it based on the majority of reviews and the unusually wide and varied menu. We were not disappointed. We had a group of ten, which was accommodated very well. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Price point is also attractive for the quality.

Sadly, some restaurants and I just don't click. 107 West was one of those. The server was not welcoming or friendly. The food lacked excitement and overall quality. We ordered fried chicken and it was quite greasy. The California rolls were not what I ordered, but after the original greeting, I did not have the heart to send it back. Overall, we may have just had a bad experience, but with a thousand other choices, we wouldn't go back
