From our very first visit the food at 1001 Nights Persian Cuisine has been authentic and consistent. The service is attentive, kind and knowledgeable. The dining atmosphere is warm and inviting. We've invited both friends and family to dinner with us here on several occasions. Afterward they become regular guests.
Great food. Great service. Always willing to accommodate any request.
The food here is always excellent with top notch service. Would recommend this place to anyone
My husband's food was very good, I ordered shush kabob and it was so bland and tasteless. I would not return because I do not like this kind of food, my husband would return however.
I was so pleasantly surprised. The orange peel, pistachio, raisin, carrot rice was to die for!
The ambiance is great and the food just perfect. The service can be a bit slow but the food makes up for it. One of my favorite places for persian cuisine.
We had the mothers day buffet and found it average. Meat was under flavored and rice was strictly ok. With so many high reviews we were disappointed. Service was below average and they charged 18% gratuity for buffet service. Given the choices that we have around we won't return to this place again.
Amazing experience ! Food was fantastic ! And the owner thanked us for coming in. Miss that nowadays ...
Something for everyone! We had a party of 7 people all with different dietary requests: paleo, vegan, vegatarian, carnivore and young kids. I'm not kidding when I say there were choices for everyone! That is truly hard to find! The food was delicious and the service was great! Definitely recommend!
Food and staff were wonderful!
This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, we have been going since it opened. Unfortunately after many great meals they have gone down hill. The salad dressing was awful, my order was wrong, they remade the dressing but it was far to late. I am so sad that this has happened. The food was so bad that we will not be back it seemed rancid.
I talked with the owner but nothing was really done nothing off the bill not dessert, nothing. The service as awful, the waiter did not take our orders correctly and had no idea what good service was. It took forever to get our food, people that arrived after us were paying by the time our food got there and then it was wrong.
I am terribly disappointed as this was one of our favorite places I had previously given glowing reviews but that was in the past.
Great Food, Great service, Beautiful dancer and music. I was very pleased as was my wife and son. Would go back in a heartbeat!!! Thank You
We had a great night, Great and tasty food, fantastic service, fun music and dancer. Been there before but this night all was great.
Food decent, service absolutely atrocious
Nice food. The service was abit slow towards the end otherwise a pleasant experience.
Ali & his crew is awesome. Always go above & beyond to provide excellent service. Thank you
Valentines menu was a rip-off. Service was bad, food was so so. Totally not worth $100
Very good. My wife and I had a very good Valentines Day dinner here. Was our first experience with Persian food, although we love Mediterranean cuisine. We had a fixed menu since it was Valentines Day so I can't comment on what their menu is like. It was a 4 course meal for two for $99. We had an unbelievabley great Eggplant appetizer. (Our favorite part of the meal!) Followed by a nice simple salad each. I ordered the meat kabob which came with a ground beef strip that was ok, but the tenderloin strip was great. My wife had the lamb kabob which I really liked also. Dessert was baklava that looked liked mini egg roles. I've had better but it was still good. A gentleman came half way through our dinner and played what I think was traditional Persian music which was cool.
We plan to go back, to explore the regular menu choices.
Very nice ambiance but I found the noise level of their very open area too high to hear people next to me at my table. I am Persian and love Persian cuisine but found their gormeh sabzi to be slightly burned and the kebab kubideh to be overlooked on the outside, undercooked on the inside. Service was good though but i prefer other Persian restaurants in Johns Creek.
Always fantastic food and service!
Everything was great. We arrived prior to our reservation time and were seated immediately. Ali was our server and was terrific. Our order was taken correctly and the food was served hot and delicious. Overall fantastic experience!
Loved the food and the ambiance! I would highly recommend 1001 Nights Persian Cuisine.
I love all middle eastern food and 1001 Nights is one of the best. All of the meat selections are delicious (Barg, Kubideh)! Table is nicely set and the nibble food/bread they bring to all customers is refreshing. Service was good and the owner stopped by to see how we were doing. Highly recommend 1001 Nights on Medlock Bridge Road.
The food was OK. We got served some nasty spoiled cream with our coffee, other than that nothing special about the place. The really good thing about our whole experience that the restaurant is about 10 min away from the house, so convenient.
A top Persian restaurant. We go often alone and with friends.
Great food and service.
Our server was fantastic and the presentation of food nicely done. The reason why we gave the food a 4 star rating was that the appetizers were just fair. We had a selection of stuffed grape leaves (okay), falafel (too dry) and an eggplant dish (good). The kabobs were delicious, well seasoned and tender (we had salmon, tenderloin and a house specialty). The presentation of the rice options was pretty as well. It's fairly pricey for what you get but if you have a special occasion or are craving Persian food you may feel it's worth the price for what you get. Again, the server was fantastic and made it a nice experience.
It was good, not great, had better Persian. Portions were a little small
The food was good, and the ambiance was nice. But our waiter tried to rip us off. My date asked for two kahbobs and a salad. That wasn't exactly on the menu but the waiter said they could do it. What he brought was the most expensive item on the menu. Thinking it was what she ordered we ate the meal. It wasn't until she asked another waited about a sauce on the table that we realized the deception. When we brought it to our waiter's attention he tried to play it off rather than make it right.
I went ahead and paid for the meal and tipped him well, but I won't be going back.
Loved the food
Excellent service and delicious food--best Persian in the Atlanta area! Very highly recommend 1001 nights!!!
Great food but service is slow. The place is relatively small and gets very busy on week3nds.
The family celebrated a birthday party at the wonderful restaurant . The food was simply outstanding and service was extremely good too. We will return to this restaurant to enjoy more of the great menu .
Some of the best Persian around.
The food was tasty. We believe it was a tad pricey for what it is. $19.00 for a dish of hummus, tahini, falafel and chopped salad when most places charge around $10 for this dish and it was nothing exceptional to warrant this price. The shrimp dish was very good yet it was $23.00. These prices are for high end restaurants and this was not one of those! If the restaurant had better prices we would frequent it regularly and even bring friends/family to dine with us. It is a huge venue so I bet they are paying a lot of rent. Nonetheless, with more reasonable prices this restaurant could be really busy so they would be more profitable over all. We were there on a Friday night, prime time, and there were only a few tables with guests.
We love Persian food, and am so glad we made the drive up to Alpharetta to try this place. Delicious meal and lovely service! Friendly and welcoming hosts and wait staff.
The hummus and Shiraz salad starters were delicate and flavorful. The house made bread was fresh and hot - so good I could have just eaten that all night!
My favorite, koobideh kabob, was fantastic and juicy, moist. I had the combo and both chicken and beef were excellent. The barg kabob that my son had was also great. But the standout of the evening (according to my hubby) was his salmon kabob- he says it lived up to the host's claim that it's the best wild salmon ever!
The food is very good. The hummus is excellent. Three of us had kabobs. One vegetable, one Koobadah Combo, one Barg. There was no food left on the table. That is not because the portions were small, but rather because the food is delicious.
Roman was our server, he took good care of us.
Definitely the real deal. So positively Persian, I could practically hear my ghanom calling me from her window out onto the streets of Esfihan.
The food was delightfully authentic and the service was second to none. I will return to this place many times over.
