Food was OK. Monte Cristo sandwich was ham and cheese between French toast. OK, but I wouldn’t order again. The chicken and waffles were also OK. Breaded chicken cutlets on little waffles. OK, bit nothing special. The beer selections were good.

Valentines dinner ruined by horrible service. Our party consisted of myself, my girlfriend, my daughter (9), my friend and his wife. To much of our delight it was not busy when we went in. Ha our delight ended there. It took forever to get our drinks when we did get them they forgot two waters and took 30 minutes to get them. Salads came before our appetizers and we had to tell the waitress that we hadn’t gotten our appetizers. Then after our appetizers came we got our soup which was spilt all over the saucers and spoons. Finally our main course came we all ordered the New York strip except my daughter who ordered a plain cheeseburger ( and she had waited this entire time with nothing to eat and it came without her fries 🤬). Our dinners were supposed to all be the same. One came with asparagus but no potatoes the other Three came with potatoes and no asparagus. This experience is so disappointing as the food was excellent but the service will prevent us from ever returning. $130 for just myself and my girlfriend... never again

Primarily a brew pub, but with a very eclectic menu. The servings are ample, the variety of options are very good. The prices are very reasonable for the food you get. The service tends to be a tad on the slow side, it took a while to finally be able to place our order and before a wait person approached us. The wine list is basic since they focus on brews instead, but the corkage fee is reasonable. The place can get noisy, especially if you have a group, plus it is next to active rail road tracks so when a train comes by, it rattles, but in a fun way. We would recommend the restaurant and would return when in the Turlock area again. It is worth going to and reservations would be a wise way to go.

We’ve been going to 10 East ever since it opened. Ever since changing owners we’ve given it a few tries and it’s just not the same. Service was not great. Food was mediocre. We miss the old menu!! We won’t be back.

Much as the food is excellent, the service was quite slow on the day I ate lunch at 10 East Kitchen and Tap House. Not really sure why, as the place was not full. Took 25 minutes for our beers to arrive and then food came another 20 minutes later. Quality of food and drink was high. Menu is eclectic and interesting. Good range of vegetarian options, too. So, despite my reservations about the service, I will be returning to give them a second chance. Hope the servers and kitchen/bar will be better coordinated!

The meal was fine but I was disappointed that they didn’t honor our confirmed open table reservation saying that only reservations made 24 hours prior show up on their system. This is an unacceptable excuse and should obviously be remedied

We come to 10 East everytime we come to Turlock (4-5 times a year) and have always loved it. They changed their menu since the last time we were there and removed many favorites. The food was meh, but the server was very nice. Very disappointed in the change and we won't be going back.

I miss the old menu!! What happened, my experience was disappointing. The food was not the same and the beer selection was different as well. Not sure if I’ll be back. This used to be my sons favorite place ☹️

We were a party of 9, with a reservation. It took over 30 minutes to get the waitress to take our order. Once they took our order it took more than 45 minutes to get our food. When we were trying to order, we were informed they were out of a few different things from the menu. At the time we were getting our food, someone from the kitchen came and told one of the individuals from our party that they didn't have what he ordered and he needed to order something else.. resulting in a longer wait for his food while the rest of us ate. At the end of the brunch, we were not compensated in any way for the ordeal, and to top it off we were left with an 18% gratuity we didn't feel was deserved.

It’s was extremely loud with drunk people. We had to move outside just to be able to hear each other. Our food took an hour to get to half of us. The other half had to reorder because they were out of what they wanted. Their food came a half hour after we were already done! I was very unhappy to have spent my birthday in such a horrible environment.

We made a reservation on Open Table but they did not have a table ready so we had to squeeze 6 people into a booth and added two chairs.
The service was slow. It was a busy day but there were only 2 full booths in our area.
The food was really good and a great deal on unlimited sangria.

Some friends and I went here for an early dinner on a Saturday night. We got there about 4 pm. It was a chilly day, so I wanted soup. Apparently, the manager that makes the soup wasn't there yet, so they don't have soup until later in the day. Boo. No worries, the artichoke pasta looked amazing and I added chicken for a very reasonable additional cost. Then the wait began....Our food took a long time - we had the pasta, orzo chicken, and fish and chips. Our server mentioned at one point that part of it was in the window and it should all be up soon. It was probably 10 minutes later that the food arrived. The two chicken dishes were delicious. The breading on the fish and chips was twice as thick as the fish that was hidden inside. Although the breading was tasty, there was just WAY too much of it.

It was fine and we enjoyed sitting outside, but there are a few areas that could be improved. I would go again just for the pulled beer can chicken they added to my pasta!

It seems that the menu has change from the last time I’ve been there and not for the better. Ordered a Spicy Bloody Mary and it was not spicy and void of flavor. The breakfast sandwich also lacked flavor and the potatoes were mushy. Service was hit & miss as we had to wait quite a while for our food but they did continue to check on us and refill the drinks. Overall, I won’t be going back anytime soon but they were consistently busy so maybe it was an off day, hard to tell.

Couldn’t find our reservation, showed them that I made one, they seemed unable to find a solution. Told me that we would need to wait 10-15 minutes because “they had two large parties with reservations “. I told her that that wasn’t okay, I also had a reservation! We asked if we could sit at a table (elderly person with us), and that WAS ok- and we were waited on some minutes later. Food was good, however one meal came out several minutes after the other four.

I was on time for my reservation and was seated in the bar area. Over 10 minutes pass without being acknowledged by any of the staff. They weren't busy. I decided to get up and leave so I could eat elsewhere.

Yes, would definitely recommend this place, however during the lunch hour we only had 1 server, we had quite a wait for the food as well as replenishing the water. Felt bad for the server, she was awesome, but overwhelmed.

We’ve been coming to 10 east for five years now and I was disappointed this time . The menu has gotten smaller and the beer selection was very little compared to usual. We were informed that the refrigeration for the draft beer was broken and they did not know when they were going to get it repaired . Our waiter was very efficient but also he was the only waiter there on Father’s Day which I thought they needed more help!

We have always enjoyed this restaurant but this time the air conditioning was out and the front door was broken letting hot air and flies in. The beer was warm and the constant battle with flies really made the experience a bummer. We will go back because we have always liked it and we are hoping it was a lapse but it was a bummer dinner.

My dinner was delicious, but my husband’s Mac n’ Cheese has pasta that was stuck together and gummy. Our server was great. We were curious why they sat us in the bar instead of at a table in the dining area which would have been quieter...

We walked in and it reeked of disinfectant. We considered leaving but wanted to give it a shot. Ordered breakfast and my husband's breakfast sandwich came drowning in sauce he didn't really know how he should eat it. Opted to just take it apart. Breakfast tacos were good. Waitress was very nice. Not sure if we would do brunch again but we have loved it for dinner

I had made reservations via the Internet and received confirmation via email. When I got there, the staff wanted to place me in the bar area, and it seemed like an extra duty to place me in their empty dining area. So that was displeasing. They grabbed a table and placed us on the outside corner of the building, out of sight out of mind type area. I made the best of it and was polite the entire time. Even though it took them about 15 min to bring out an IPA and water downed margarita. The chicken and waffles wasn't that great either. And our server seemed rather annoyed to be serving us, despite my please, miss, and thank yous.

Called in Feb to reserve a private room. Get a call two weeks before telling me they will do the best they can.
Was disappointed that 3 no notice wasn’t enough. Obviously they held room for locals.
Probably won’t go back. Everything was fine but loud.

We had reservations for 6:00 p.m. but ended up waiting. There were a couple of large parties and that were still lingering. Once they left, it took a little longer to get us seated. The only complaint I have is that the front door remains open when people leave. The night we were there was raining and cold. Our table was just on the other side of the partition from the door. Once we were seated, everything was wonderful after that. The service and the food was excellent.
