Another great dinner at 10 Degrees South. Came with a couple of friends and we enjoyed everything we had to eat and drink. We were a little disappointed that 2 of the 3 Rosé options on the menu weren't in stock, in addition to the Kingklip entrée. The private room near our table had a large party who were quite loud, and it was a little distracting. Wish they had kept their door closed to the rest of the restaurant for noise purposes.
Great quality food
My husband and I love 10 Degrees South and always enjoy it. We always get the South African dishes.
Awesome,great food and great service
Beautiful ambiance. Great food. One of my favorites.
The food was great and the service was professional.
Elegant ambiance and delectable atmosphere. Food was superb. Pap (South African grits) were splendid.
We had reservations for a table but upon arriving at the bar, decided to stay and dine at bar to listen to the live musician. Mia the bartender was so fantastic. My s.o. is not drinking alcohol so she made him the most delicious mocktail I have ever tasted. It has lychee syrup. I ended up asking her to make me one as well! I was blown away by how addictive the drink was. We had the mussels. And you definitely should order a garlic bread roll with the mussels. We also had biltong and later got the fish. Everything from the moment we entered the building to the moment we left was excellent. I am going to be back soon
We enjoyed our food and our new friend, Mia.
I enjoyed the Kingklip with spice. It was our anniversary and the outdoor seating was great and less crowded; just right for conversation.
This was our first time here, celebrating our 26th Wedding Anniversary, and we were "completely wowed." The spices for all of the dishes were light, unique, and very tasty. My wife enjoyed the Cape Kingklip fish entree, and I loved the Ostrich entree as well. We especially enjoyed the Calamari appetizer - having it grilled over a bed of saffron rice was a wonderful switch as opposed to the normal (and much heavier) fried options. We are already looking forward to a return trip!
This place was absolutely beautiful inside. The service was impeccable. Location.. a definite plus. The food was terrible!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at 10 Degrees South. What a beautiful decor and ambiance.
This was not our first visit there but it was for our guests; they loved it and said they would be back. They often drive by the restaurant but had never noticed it.
Our Server was wonderful. The peri peri chicken rolls were great.
We really enjoyed our experience in this restaurant, great food, service and ambiance. We highly recommend it!
Very enjoyable dining experience! After our visit to South Africa a couple of years ago, we were pleased to find authentic South African food in Atlanta. Spring rolls , Chicken livers .And kebabs with basmati rice were all top notch!
Mia makes it
We could not fault the food. Delicious and flavorful! A real taste of home.
But... the service was sub par. Not very attentive, we kept having to ask for water. Some of the sides were wrong and an extra side was added.
Most amazing dinner! The Mussels never disappoint. The broth was so delicious, we had to have another order of bread loaf to soak up every last drop. We ordered the lamb chops which were so thick and cooked with a divine sauce. Also ordered the shrimp curry and the combination of flavors in that dish was too good to describe. Can't wait to go again soon. Enjoyed the Spellbound Petite Syrah Blend Wine too. Just a great dining experience.
Everything was great food and service. My only issue was that the staff did not wear face mask. We are in the middle of a pandemic and the staff should have on mask for their along with the guest safety.
Amazing experience- food is always delicious
Great food, drinks and service!
We had a reservation at 6 pm and the place was quiet at that time, just perfect for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday. Service and food were great!!!
I love this place! The food was amazing
Fantastic cuisine, particularly for red meat lovers. One of our favorites in Atlanta.
It was great ambiance and the waiter Chris was amazing! I thought there was outside dining but the experience was awesome. I highly recommend
a party came in just as our food was served- VERY distracting, loud, and taking constant photos - basically ruined our quiet family dinner/birthday
complained to host stand - nothing was done and our server did nothing to control the situation either - the group should have been moved to an more private area in the dining room - plenty of space to do that - disappointing
My experience was amazing as always. I’ve never had a disappointing visit. The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is hospitable and seem to genuinely care about the experience had by each visitor. As for the drinks, you are being naive if you think you’re only going to being to have one because they are DELICIOUS!
Very good food. Very good service.
Always fantastic! Three birn and raised
Has always been one of my Gm fav restaurants.
I have been at 10 Degree South now about 5 times and the service and the food never change, it is always excellent. I come here to eat the ostrich, which is always prepared perfectly, this time was no exception. We'll be back.
Excellent service with traditional South African cuisine. Great wine list of regional wine from South Africa and California with interesting house cocktail creations. The Ostrich and Curry were wonderful.
I was soooo disappointed in my dinner at 10 degrees south. First, when I pulled into the parking lot the valet guy was so rude and uninterested… I mean I get that you do not want to park card in the rain but HELLO! Aren’t you in the valet business? So I go inside and have a drink at the bar while waiting for my guest. Bar was good. Drinks and service! We get seated at our table and order the most expensive bottle of wine on the menu and the waitress knew nothing about it and had to send another waitress to serve the bottle after almost 30 minutes. We ordered our food and she forgot one of our appetizers. I ordered the ostrich medallions but I received some sort of meat, sliced in one inch thick pieces and COVERED in gravy. I asked about it since it was obviously not the MEDALLIONS AND she said it was my dish. It was grotesque and I could not eat it. I sent it back and told her that I couldn’t eat it and she asked if I wanted to wrap it up? She was the worst waitress… mostly other people brought our food and waited on us. I paid for the disgusting meat dish. As we were waiting for the valet, a hostess asked the valet guy if he wanted an umbrella to take us to our cars but he made such a big ordeal that I walked in the rain to my car. (He actually brought a Corolla for my friend who was driving a 7 series bmw. I mean… seriously.) Horrible food, service and ambiance. Too many amazing restaurants in Atlanta to go to 10 degrees south.
Great customer service. The waiter was great with food recommendations, the food was amazing! It was a 10/10
Emily was awesome as a server, the food, wine and beer was good. We always go for a taste of SA when in ATL
Food was amazing, definitely a great date night spot. It’s very intimate. I will definitely go back.
10 Degrees South came highly recommended by a friend. So glad we decided to dine here for our anniversary. The ambiance was calm and inviting. We enjoyed how all of the parties were socially distanced and all staff properly masked. The food was amazing: lobster spring rolls, calamari, and ostrich were our favorite dishes. Will definitely return.
