Went for their happy hour. The restaurant is located on the lower level and not big but they have an overflow area in a lobby like area. Food was good, service was excellent
A lovely little fine-dining establishment. Well rounded enough to be either a casual experience, or a romantic date. The service was very timely, and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and friendly. The drink selection was superb, with a nice range of local beers, specialty cocktails, and well priced wines.
My husband and I had a great experience at 10 Below. Everything we ordered was delicious and our waitress Jeanine was excellent. We only wished we could have ordered more things on the menu, which I guess means we will have to go back.
We started with the madras curry eggplant leek fritters. Such interesting flavors, and we loved it. We followed by sharing the salt roasted beet salad. Another amazing dish.
I ordered the special, which was halibut served on fingerling potatoes and carrots with an amazing sauce. And it was only $24! I usually pass up halibut because it's too expensive (another restaurant recently wanted $40 for what sounded like a similar dish), so I was very happy with this. My husband ordered the dry-aged New York sirloin, and it was cooked exactly as he ordered and it was very tender.
We want to go back for the blta, the angel hair pasta, the wagyu burger, the scallops... Lots of good dining in our future!
Excellent meal. Had the special and it was unique and perfectly prepared. The waitress was attentive and made sure our needs and wants are seen to.
Great food, good choices for those who don't eat red meat. Eclectic setting.
Cassie is the best! My friends enjoyed their 10/10 . I ordered the fritata for the first time. I thought it was good but I didn’t know they burn the bottoms to make them. That made it a little unpleasant but I am used to eating bad cooking as that is how I cook🤣
Saturday morning breakfast. The brioche French toast with berries was delicious - moist, eggy, rich bread with swirls of cinnamon. The coffee was surprisingly weak, although it was served with warm, steamed milk. Service was casual, less attentive than ideal.
We had the very best burgers in town and a great carrot cake for desert. Fast service and friendly staff made this a pleasant evening out.
My friend loved the 10 for 10 or whatever you call the lunch special. I loved the beet salad and soup.
I have already written a review of 10 Below since it is a place to which I frequently return. This time I do have something to add because we ordered dessert, which is a rarity. Our group of 4 seemed to be mirroring each other in our choices. Both of the men ordered the turkey panini for their meal and both women ordered the burger. Everyone was happy with their choice, although I must admit that I am actually addicted to the Pacific Cobb Salad with salmon and will likely go back to that dish next time.
Each couple ordered the bread pudding for dessert. If you like bread pudding you know that it can range from overly soggy and unpleasant to overly dry. This bread pudding was actually perfect. The insides were moist but not soggy and the top had crisp peaks and a light crust. The flavor was fabulous. There are not many places in this town where bread pudding is offered, but it's good to know there is one place, 10 Below, that does a good job.
I believe that because our reservation was for a late lunch (1:00) it was somewhat understandable that some of their featured menu items were no longer available. However, that was somewhat disappointing.
Great food and service!
We have dined at 10 Below on several occasions. This time, we took out-of-town guests there for happy hour/dinner. The happy hour menu has shrunk considerably and there were only a few discounted options. The adult beverages were still good (it's one of the few places in Bend with decent happy hour wines). Our friends ordered the "golden salmon" and the pacific cobb salad with golden salmon, while I ordered the Draper Valley crispy chicken with Dungeness crab. The salmon were both more blackened and more cooked than on previous occasions. Since I wasn't eating them, I can't say if they tasted as good, but our friends both loved theirs. The chicken isn't something I would order again, since the fried chicken was a bit over-done, and it was swimming in Hollandaise sauce. The taste of all the other parts (spinach, asparagus, rice) was great, but I could hardly taste anything other than sauce on the chicken and crab. It was impossible to scrape much of it off since it mixed in with the chicken and the crab and spilled over into the other meal parts. But that's just 1 dish I normally wouldn't order anyway.
The only other issue on this occasion which we hadn't had previously was noise. There was a group of women in the bar area that were very loud. Since it was probably an occasion for them, I don't expect it will become a normal issue at 10 Below.
Overall, I still greatly enjoy this place. It's one of the few places in Bend that is usually quiet enough to have a conversation, and the food is consistently quite good. I also think the prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food (our meals ranged from $14 - $18).
Service was slow and the food was disappointing. It took nearly an hour to get our food. The Sea Bass was super salty.
Value for food offerings is good--service was about as bad as it gets in Bend-very unusual for the number of times we have dined/drank at 10 below. Wedding anniversary, and not more than three tables when we were seated. Waited long enough that I got up to ask the bar tender if we could order a drink--then extended waits throughout dinner and check presentation. Had we had more options (not realistic on a holiday weekend), we would have walked and found another place to celebrate. Usually don't post reviews like this, but they were definitely off their game that night.
My wife & I did Valentines at 10 Below. Our first time. Duly impressed. Cozy feel. Love the bar. Had a cocktail after dinner. Great dining experience 😊👍🏻
Valentine Day Prix Fix Meal idea was great but the execution was not. The steaks were tough and one had to be sent back. The server was very accommodating . This was not, however, indicative of other meals we have enjoyed at this establishment.
We enjoyed this modern art designed restaurant. We had the baby romaine salad and the dressing was great. One of our friends had to try the draper valley crispy chicken which was surprisingly good. The bronzed king salmon was also very good. The bread pudding would have been better with a whiskey sauce. We would definitely recommend this place for dinner.

The only draw back is the small, underground space that can get a little crowded. Other than that a must when in Bend!
The service was outstanding! Bevan took great care of us, knowledgeable of the cocktail list and the menu and made great recommendations. The salmon salad was super good. The scallops were nicely carmelized but a bit overdone and a little pricey for 3 scallops. Overall a good experience and would absolutely recommend it.
Nye menu was uninspired and poorly executed. Nice wine list; duckhorn by the glass was pleasantly surprising. Reservations were 45 minutes late to seat, valet nowhere to be found, beautiful fillet was over cooked and wrapped with overly smoky bacon (a nostalgic nod to 1991 perhaps?), and the "intermezzo sorbet" never made an appearance at all. Missed our ball drop party due to the incredibly slow service and seating. Disappointing. :\
Fantastic breakfast, wonderful service
I realize we went for a nice dinner on Christmas Day, and probably none of the staff wanted to be there but wow, what a let down.
We are local to Bend and have enjoyed 10 Below’s bar and happy hour many times. But dinner was a big disappointment. Slow service, slow to get drinks when the bar server was not very busy. Food was ok but overpriced for what we got. Once again yes it’s Christmas Day so not totally surprised. Ran out of dessert substituted another desert. Couldn’t even get our water glasses filled when servers walked by with a water pitcher. Waitress was very non ingauged but apologized for the wait. I’m assuming hoping to preserve some kind of tip. Sorry 10% is all I could manage.
If you can’t do it right, just have the bar open and serve snacks.
The best part of the night was the valet service. Hands down.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. We enjoyed the piano music as we arrived. The staff was all very friendly and the food was excellent. Would eat there again.

Four of us ate our Thanksgiving dinner at 10 Below. It was wonderful, great service and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant plus it was on the quite side. It was a great choice for us. The guys tried the Absinthe drinks - very fun and a unique experience.
This is a ‘hidden Gem’ ...We have enjoyed eating at the 10 below restaurant at least a I/2 dozen times or more over the past 10 to 12 months. Most of our eating experiences there were for breakfast or a late brunch. So we were fairly confident that our Thanksgiving dinner would prove to be just as good as anything we had experienced eating at 10 Below. the quality, service and ambiance of the Thanksgiving dinner did not disappoint ! The food prep was outstanding and beyond our expectations. Everything is fresh and not prepared far in advance...The Butternut Squash Soup was truly amazing, our entrees, sides & deserts were done perfectly (or as close to it as one can)..the wine list was very good and carried quality named vineyards, ambiance is ‘classy casual’, well done & modern, not crowded, while being totally comfortable. Our waitress VANESSA (who has served our tables in the past) was awesome! We both left here totally contented & look forward to the next opportunity! We both travel a lot, enjoy dinning out and prefer better foods, etc..
(so ‘raving’ over a Restuarant is not taken lightly)

We ate at 10 Below for the first time , prior to going to one of the jazz concerts offered at the Oxford. Loved the entire experience.
We have been there before and it's been great but after last night not sure we will go back. Beautiful place, lackluster service. Lots of staff standing around. Waited forever to be seated. I am Celiac made a huge deal about NO GLuten. Salad comes w breadsticks on it? Then the scallops were disgusting. Fishy, no caramelization, unevenly cooked. The risotto was not cooked (hard) and what was cooked wasn't cooked properly. Super starchy. I sent it back and they took it off the bill but what a bust for date night 😢
I chose the $10 lunch special as I've taken it before and friends advised me about how good it was. Unfortunately this taco dish was almost inedible. Cold tacos. Dry. Just hot sauce to add to it. But wait staff was good--just the right amount of attention given that this was lunch. If you want a quiet, easy to get into, restaurant, and don't mind being completely indoors, this is a great spot. Just be careful about ordering...I am not sure I'd go there again given the great lunch options we have around town.
Service was very slow which hasn't been our experience in the past. Drinks took too long to arrive too so wasn't just the kitchen. Wasn't crowded so not sure what the problem was.
Excellent food. Delicious grilled salmon over sauteed spinach, cheese and meat platter tasty. Would return when in area.

10 Below was a great place to grab a bite and a few drinks. Their menu is comprehensive enough to provide options for all. We had a Cobb Salad, with salmon. A nice size piece of fish, properly prepared, over a huge, well put together salad. Add a meat/cheese platter to that, and a couple rounds of craft cocktails, and we had a great time out. We will return. It is convenient to everything, and a beautiful space.
