024 Grille Ratings and Reviews
We went for the Breakfast with Santa. The price was reasonable (a bit pricey, but understandable)...they had nice craft stations for the children (even adults that like to decorate ornaments...ie... me!) and the food stations were perfect for kids and adults alike. They topped it off with a nice raffle prizes for the children. I would definitely recommend this event to families...in fact I already did on my social media page!
The Thanksgiving traditional dishes were great and the tables overflowed. The breakfast options were delicious. Don't bother with the sushi - it's gorgeously arranged but not tasty. The secret is you can fill yourself on the salads, brunch items, and main courses and they will give you a small box of dessert to take home. We didn't find that out till after we tasted our way through the two tables of desserts. We think they need to cut the pie and cheesecake servings even smaller! So you can have each one. We shared them at our table.
The food was very good as was the service. I chose this place based on the reviews and price. It seemed like a great value for Thanksgiving Brunch. But as we left and I got the bill there was a 20% open service charge for nearly $45, I was not told about this charge when I made the reservation or when we arrived. In other restaurants, these additional charges are known n beforehand and not hidden until it is time to leave. I do not like being ambushed like this and quite frankly ruined the experience for us all.
Dined there for a Sunday brunch and got the impression that it's a standard hotel restaurant that attracts hotel guests. I would go again as they only thing that offer better than surrounding outlets is convenience for hotel guests. Food and service were ok while atmosphere is typical of any standard hotel restaurants.
Worst tenderloin flat bread. Old mozzarella.
Crab cakes were super salty.
Service was pathetic. I asked for fresh pepper and the server handed me the full pepper mill instead of crushing the peppers himself. I have never seen that done in any other restaurant. This is the Westin hotel. Please have some training, dignity, and class.
The restaurant is inside the Westin Hotel. It was interesting that open table showed few table available at various times. The restaurant was literally empty. The exposed brick walls and barn doors are a great environment, but I thought the main dining room lights needed to be dimmed a bit for a Friday night. The appetizers were great, the entrees were good. The service was really great!
Enjoyed your Thanksgiving Brunch. Took my 86 y/o Father, along with my husband and I and would consider this every year. Food was extremely good, many offerings to choose from between traditional turkey, breakfast brunch omelettes or prime rib. My husband has some of everything, lol.....and had nothing but a yummy smile on his face! Atmosphere was very comfortable, clean, tables not crowded together. They had a sax player, which enhanced the ambiance of the restaurant. Viviana was our wonderful waitress, she was quick to respond to any need we ask, didn't rush us through lunch and was very kind, a pleasure! All the staff was efficient, very welcoming, which in Houston is a nice change. I feel most places want to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Numerous people quickly stopped by just make sure everything was good. Overall an A++ experience, wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
I'll be honest we got lucky. We went to a restaurant that had a 45 minute wait for our group of eight. Thanks to Open Table we found 024 could take our group right away. I can't say enough good about this restaurant. The menu isn't lengthy but has several great dishes. The food and especially the waitstaff (and manager) were the incredible. Made for a very special occasion. We hated to leave!
This restaurant looked highly rated. Went there with 2 other couples. Food was not that great. Waitress was very good but we were the only table she had. There is no ambience. This restaurant is the Westin hotels restaurant. Will not go back.
A quiet little gem of a restaurant at The Westin Hotel!
The food is always tasty and well prepared...they will gladly accommodate your request on changes. The service is always courteous.
My Mother had the Jumbo Crab Cake which was full of crab and very fresh. I had an excellent Club Sandwich. They didn't have Honey Mustard but were happy to bring me a those cute little room service jars of Dijon and Local Honey and I mixed my own.
The food was amazing, the chef really did it not just in terms of taste, but also value and the presentation of the food. Overall, the meal was beyond delicious because of the details such as sea salt and pepper (just the right amount) on the french fries. The value for the carafe of mimosa was wonderful, not to mention the flavor and nice wine used of the peach agave. The flavoring of the andouille sausage and cheese on the pizza was the best and I would definitely come back for an experience of this chef's flavors.
Easter brunch, at $55.00 per person, was very much overpriced. The food was just okay. Nothing spectacular. The service was good, but not excellent. Gratuity of 20% was included, but not mentioned by the server. I was offended.
Went for Easter Brunch after having eaten here for Mother's Day last year and loving it! We were disappointed in the food offering to say the least. There was much less of the high end items (shrimp, crab legs, meat, etc) than we expected which did not justify the cost of the meal: $50 pp. We were also charged a $50 "Easter Brunch" surcharge on top of the per person cost which was not mentioned on the website or the big display sign outside the restaurant. A 20% tip was also included in the bill, which was definitely earned by our server, however I would have liked to have been informed of that before hand as well. After reviewing the bill that afternoon, I noticed that we had been charged the regular seating price of $55 pp rather than the "early seating charge" of $50 pp that we should have been charged since we had a reservation for 10am. Over all, the experience was a very pleasant and tasty one over all, but was definitely not worth the price we paid.
Very nice menu, and if they could have actually prepared the food properly, it could have been an excellent meal. As nice and polite as our server was, how can it take 30 minutes to cook a piece of fish and a steak, yet they both come to the table undercooked? I hate to send it back but i did. Of course i waited another 15 minutes to be served the now way overcooked dinner. Server comped one cocktail which was nice, but i still wouldn't go back.
