As soon as my family and I arrived the staff was super welcoming and friendly. Our waiter was super sweet, polite, attentive and helpful, also making recommendations which we really appreciated. The food was very good, my family and I have been there a couple times and we absolutely love this restaurant. Loved the music and the ambiance. Overall a great experience!

The inspiration for Needle and Thread came from the history of the space located at 45 Peck St. in Downtown Providence. For more than half a century Antonio Conte dutifully served the professionals in the city's center, with an old world style haberdashery, providing suits, outerwear and evening attire. For more than 2 years Needle and Thread was constructed piece by piece with the same attention to detail and love as Mr. Conte poured into every garment he constructed.

All the way back in 1955, the four sons of an immigrant millworker decided to take a chance. They opened a restaurant on Cumberland’s bustling Mendon Road with nothing to their names other than a shared dream and vision - fresh and local ingredients, prompt and friendly service, all to be had at an unbeatable value. They developed a motto and never steered away from it – “If you are not proud of it, do not serve it!”. That restaurant was the original Chelo’s Hometown Bar & Grille, and that motto can be found hanging in each of our kitchens to this very day.
While times change, our values don’t. As a third generation, family owned and operated company, our food is still made fresh in our commissary 7 days a week and delivered to each of our locations daily . Same ingredients, same recipes, same classic food that Rhode Islanders have come to know and love since our grandfathers first opened our doors nearly 70 years ago!

Tyler provided excellent service and made the night enjoyable. His knowledge of the menu and prompt, polite service enhanced the dinner for sure! Food was great like always. Try the Fire Roasted Chicken Wrap or the Salmon!

Food was good and came out quick & good service. Was in the area for a concert which was within walking distance (amica) so that worked out and the server made sure we were in and out knowing we had a show to go too, will deff go back nice out door seating when the weather gets nice :)

It was our first time with our friends. We are vegetarians and but we also like to dabble. We got a bunch of appetizers , what a great variety. We then shared desserts. All I can say is wow! Will be back!!

I had my birthday party here. It was so much fun! The music, the food the ambience was great. The staff was amazing. Myself and all of my guests enjoyed everything about 787 restaurant lounge if you’re looking for a place to get dressed up have a good time good food dance this is the place!
