Zocalo ClevelandAwesome TimeI took my husband to Zocalo for the first time this weekend and we LOVED it. I had reservations and called to let them know we were having a hard time finding parking. We were about 15 minutes late and they still sat us right away. The drinks (I had a Mango Margarita with FRESH Mango), the food (shrimp tacos for me - and burrito for my husband), the service - ALL oustanding. We're looking forward to trying it again. Super convenient to the arena, and the food was AMAZING. My sister is still talking about the tacos. Don't know if they do this for every show, but was going to see NKOTB, and two NKOTB songs were playing right as we walked in. Restaurant had a really fun atmosphere, and the staff was really nice and helpful. We weren't rushed at all. Only complaint would be that the drinks we ordered were really weak, they tasted good, but had very little alcohol in them. (First time I was ever able to drink three margaritas and a mixed drink without feeling any alcohol effects).6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMThoroughly enjoyedI was with my significant other and we both had a pleasurable dining experience. We arrived early during downtime, so it was very quiet. Our meals were full of flavors that blended well together. Due to weather we did not sit on the patio, but the indoor dining on the ground level was nice and accessible for people of all ages. Our service was fantastic, the waitress was very attentive. Upon going downstairs, the ambiance was quite nostalgic. We enjoyed the view of the kitchen and the vast seating area. The cocktail menu was unique and well priced, even if we hadn't been there during happy hour.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBurst Of FlavorsI went on a date that turned out to be exciting, therefore, my experience may have been influenced a little by the good outcome. The food was excellent. We had the guacamole prepared by the tableside, and it was excellent. I also had a couple tacos with some sort of steak that was an excellent flavor-filled experience. We found it at Zocalo's!! Food was great, had a patio table making people watching a lot of fun. Our waiter was very friendly but did forget to bring our guacamole sampler but quickly got it once we reminded him. They were willing to work with us with separate checks even with such a large party. The servers were great and always on the ball, I was so impressed. Our server was great. The only weird thing was that they ran out of mole sauce (so my friend couldn't get the first dish she ordered), then when she tried to get another dish (some kind of tamale I think), they were out of the corn meal or other ingredient needed.
