Great for Lunch
Have dined at this quaint
restaurant several times. Always delicious fresh hot food! Love the Chicken Capelliini! And the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake is heavenly!"

Went for my wife's birthday, which
also happens to be valentine's day. The food and service were great, and it had a fun but classy atmosphere (but not quiet if that's what youre looking for). They had their valentine's day menu, but they let us customize it and brought her their baklava ice cream cake (fantastic) with a birthday candle. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend it for a nice date night."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Took a date here for valentines
day and to my surprise there was a fixed v-day menu - $55 per person. This included a sparse appetizer tray (grapes, apple slices, 2 shrimp), salad, main course, and cake to share. The food was good but WAY over priced. I normally go here for lunch and eat the exact same thing for around $15. The price hike for valentines dinner was ridicules and felt it was a little bit of a price gouge. Also, standard mixed drinks started a $10. I don't drink at lunch so not sure if this was inflated as well. Bottom line is this experience turned me off from eating here again. If you want no hassle better Greek food, try Zoe's Kitchen instead of this place."

Over 1/2 hour late in seating us
for our reservation. Impossible to get a drink. Over cooked fish. No bread at table nor condiments to inspire a Greek/Mediterranean meal. Very disappointing experience"
Dined on 2/8/2014
We normally order the lamb skewers
salad medium rare. Always fantastic!!! The baklava ice cream cake is fabulous!!!"
Dined on 2/4/2014
Overall, Ziziki's is just okay. I
believe the food is key at most restaurants and sadly this food here did disappoint. The taste and description on the menu did not fit what was served. I definitely have had better and the only highlight was the service. Other than that, I will not recommend Ziziki's to any family/friends and will not return. Look elsewhere for food with Greek and Italian influences."

We always enjoy eating at Ziziki's
in Plano when we feel like having great Greek food without traveling to Greece. The wait staff is very gracious and never rush you through courses. Their Greek salad is a great starter and is so refreshing with its creamy dressing. The lamb is always tender, moist, and flavorful and served with their signature outstanding roasted potatoes. It's a great restaurant for both couples out for the evening and families."

My husband and I eat at Ziziki's
often because the good is consistenly good. This particular visit, the service was outstanding. Our waiter knew just the right amount of service to provide, didn't try to hurry us and was knowledgeable and attentive. Another great experience at Ziziki."
Dined on 1/24/2014
A great place for a delicious
Mediterranean buffet. Highly recommended."

We had our girls Christmas
luncheon at Ziziki's recently and all had a great time. The service was perfect - not too pushy or hovering, but there when we needed something. Our food was beautifully presented, yummy and relatively healthy too. My only complaint on this visit was we were seated right as you come in the door, and every time it opened it was very cold. I will ask for a table further back next time. Otherwise, great experience!"
Dined on 12/30/2013
One of our favorite restaurants
that we can always count on a solid dining experience. We love Greek food, good wine and attentive service. Try it!"
Dined on 11/29/2013
Food was average. I ordered red
snapper which did not have the usual texture of snapper & think another fish was substituted. The service was slow."
Dined on 11/29/2013
We visited Ziziki's for the first
time on a very rainy night in October. The service started out a little slow, but did improve. Our appetizers - the sample plate with various typical Greek offerings - and my husband's moussaka were wonderful - probably the best we've had outside of Europe! I was not too hungry after the appetizers and I wanted to save room for the Baklava ice-cream cake, so I ordered a crab cake appetizer from the "specials". It was dry and bland, and had the texture and uniform shape of a mass produced frozen crab cake. Then came the baklava ice-cream cake - and that more than made up for any other disappointments - and was definitely worth the calories! The pluses outweighed the negatives and we plan to return."

Having frequented the Travis
location, I was excited to try another one, and was not disappointed. The dolmades are accompanied by fresh veggies, the Greek lasagna is food fit for a king, and the sliced leg of lamb as succulent as always. There is a gorgeous patio for outdoor seating. Being there for lunch, I cannot speak as to the dinner items nor the wine list. There was a table tent advertising a free order of Ziziki bread appetizer if you text a # for their alerts, which I did, and I'm glad it was free because I would have not liked paying $7 for some bread covered in cheese. The server forgot to take it off the bill which I didn't notice til the next day, bummer. There were long stretches of time I didn't see our server, busy lunch hr."
Dined on 10/10/2013
Lunch was fantastic, as always.
The food here never disappoints. Only reason for only giving 4 stars is a beer that was ordered but never rang in by the server."
Dined on 10/5/2013
Ziziki's is one of our all time
favorites. The salmon souvlaki and spanikopita are outstanding, and the service is always excellent. While the Plano location lacks the intimate ambience of the original in Dallas, it is a beautiful and sophisticated space that attracts a diverse clientele."
Dined on 9/29/2013
The who was fantastic the
atmosphere was great. I would recommend this to my friend."
Dined on 9/20/2013
Dolmades were delicious but the
garnish of 2 tomatoes and 2 olives and red onions with feta were the same on all our other dishes I personally ordered the lamb and found the pieces on the kebob to be too tough to swallow. The waiter said that he understood and brought me a half order more which was the same tough meat so I didn't eat more. My wife and I were not comfortable with the noise level of the entire restaurant such as the bus crew stacking glasses noisily in a partition behind us and the music not appropriate for dining with the only sound to be heard was boom, boom, boom. The restaurant was crowded so evidently a lot of customers like the ambience, but they just lost 2 clients and our friends as well!!"
Dined on 9/21/2013
Food was great, not as quiet or
romantic as I was hoping. Seemed to be kid friendly."
Dined on 9/21/2013
As always the service was
terrific. Any special request for food preparation is always taken care of."
Dined on 8/23/2013
Great place to celebrate a special
occasion whether with family or friends. Our meal on 8/16/13 was outstanding and one of the best meals we have ever had at Ziziki's. We have gone with a group before and you can reserve the special area for your party provided you plan ahead. Love that it is a Neighborhood Gem and close!"
Dined on 8/17/2013
My wife and I were entertaining an
out-of-town couple, and we took them to Ziziki's because we knew that we could count on a great meal that was just a bit out of the ordinary. I resisted the temptation to have moussaka or souvlaki yet again and opted for the stuffed lamb loin. Our menu selections were delicious as usual and the service was attentive without being over-bearing. The restaurant also accommodated our request for a quiet table suitable for conversation."
Dined on 7/26/2013
Great lamb, yummy sauces,
fantastic dolmas, bar created quality drinks, service was spot on, small place with romantic feel... baklava ice cream dessert.... dang..."
Dined on 7/13/2013
Really enjoyed the food. My family
tried different menu items and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Will be back."
Dined on 7/14/2013
Love the food here as well as the
wait staff. We had another great dinner here with our friends and will definitely spread a positive word about Zizikis!"
Dined on 7/13/2013
Great service and great food.
Really have liked all the experiences we've had here (3 visits). They impress every time!"
Dined on 6/23/2013
We've been coming to Ziziki's for
several years now. We always enjoy the food and have never had a bad experience. On this last visit, we brought our son who has multiple food allergies. I really appreciated how attentive our waiter was to my son's needs and how knowledgeable he was about what on the menu would or would not meet his requirements. Yet another reason for us to love Ziziki's!"
Dined on 6/2/2013
The Rack of Lamb was excellent.
This has become one of our favorite restaurants!"
Dined on 6/15/2013
The red snapper was excellent-
thick, moist and well seasoned. The baclava ice cream cake with nuts and honey was decadent!! Glad I split it with a friend. Will dine here again soon. The atmosphere was well suited to the Greek theme."
Dined on 6/10/2013
We decided late on Saturday to
dine out with another couple and were happy to be able to make a reservation. The place was full but we had a nice table. Food was delicious!"
Dined on 6/2/2013
Love the food here. Been to a
couple of locations of Ziziki's and the food is wonderful."
Dined on 5/30/2013
The only complaint that I have is
that the crab cakes were very bready ... unlike the description that stated lumps of crab lightly breaded ... the crab cake was mostly bread. Everything else was delicious."
Dined on 5/18/2013
This was our first visit to
Zizikis, and we couldnt have chosen a better place than this. The food is awesome, staff very friendly. We asked for recomendations, and John, who took care of us that evening, made some really good suggestions. Try the artichoke hearts, they are to die for. The lamb salad is terrific, and so is the greek lamb burger. Overall, a great place for food, good wines and a great experience."
Dined on 5/12/2013
My family and I went to Zizikis
for Mother's Day brunch. The food was wonderful, and the service was impeccable as usual. We had a lovely time."
Dined on 5/12/2013
Reservation was easy to make and
when we showed up we were seated right away at a very nice table. We had a very nice evening. The restaurant was full and seemed like everyone was happy. The waiter said that the printer ran out of paper and that is why we got out appetizer with out dinner, but he took it off of our tab. That was the only negative of the night,."
Dined on 4/4/2013
We had dinner here on Easter
Sunday afternoon after the brunch rush so it was pretty quiet. The service was very good and we very much enjoyed our meal. It's a bit on the expensive side for me but nice for a special occasion. Cute bar area so will come back and check it out at 'happy hour'."
Dined on 3/31/2013
Love this place..I have liked
everything I have eaten here! Wine list is nice. It's Greek food--all the usual stuff. If I want to go light, I order the Greek salad with some meat (usually chicken) for me. Medium hungry, I like the souvlaki. The "specialties" are pretty big plates here, but I've like the ones I've gotten. I've liked all of the appetizers. My least favorite thing here is probably the desserts--but I'm not a big dessert eater, and am so full when I am done, it's not even a factor. From an atmosphere standpoint, it is nice, but not stuffy. You don't find super-quiet tables or booths, but the noise level is very manageable and two couples can carry on a conversation just fine."
Dined on 3/30/2013
We love Ziziki's! Delicious food,
attentive service, it's also so nice that you can carry out conversation without yelling at each other."
Dined on 3/23/2013
Although we have eaten here
several times, it was our daughter's request for her 16th birthday that brought us to Ziziki's this time around. Each of us ordered something different and each meal was delicious and out on the table quickly. The special request I made of having a piece of baklava with a lit candled delivered to our daughter after our meal was honored and appreciated. Our wait staff, John, is spectacular as usual and really does the restaurant proud. So glad to have Ziziki's in our neighborhood! Fantastic restaurant!"
