With their farm-to-table approach, you can count on quality ingredients at Zingerman's. However, quality ingredients come at a price, so be prepared. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice, warm ambiance.

As always wonderful, friendly and fast service! All of this and great food on a Michgan Football Saturday is amaizing! Most accommodating to our needs - even though noisy, my friend who has some hearing loss was able to carry on a conversation. Very good BBQ and the Mac 'n Cheese was to die for! The fries cooked have been cooked a little longer for my taste - not as crispy as I like.

I visit the Roadhouse every time I visit Ann Arbor, it is one of my all time favorites. And while experience has shown me time after time how fantastic dinner is, this was my second visit for brunch and how they managed to make it even better is beyond me. We were seated quickly (reservations are a must here), our waitress was high energy fun, and then there were the biscuits in chocolate bacon gravy! Zingerman's really knows their bacon, and my favorite things about their brunch menu are the bourbon and cream coffee, and all the different bacons available as side orders.

Zingerman's owners and chef's have had a singular philosophy since the beginning: use the best possible ingredients and stay true to classic recipes. The Roadhouse harkens back to great comfort food stops of the past like truck stops and roadhouses, the difference here is that Zingerman's absolutely will not compromise on the ingredients. Taken out of that context, the prices may seem a bit high, but for the quality and the taste, what you get is worth every penny you pay. From their own breads, the freshest fish, the finest cheeses, everything is top quality. Service is very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient without being intrusive. Don't skip dessert either!

Love Zingerman's Roadhouse! My husband I love taking a road trip up from Toledo to eat there. Service is excellent and the food is awesome. This restaurant knows how to treat customers. The wait staff is all about customer service and they have been trained well. They also seem to love their jobs. The food at Zingerman's is fresh and the Ari donut sundae is to die for. My husband and I went up for our anniversary and we were treated to a free dessert by our waiter. It is worth the drive if you do not live in Ann Arbor!

My $67 bill for two with out drinks or apps was not matched with quality of ingredients or skill in preparation. Service was friendly but with a line out the door you are handled with an urgency to move on. I'll return for a hamburger or sandwich but will eat my diner elsewhere.

This was our 4th time visiting ZR. I can't tell you how unimpressed we are with the food. I really have nothing else to say about it. The sides need a lot of work. The BBQ entree was not great, the kale salad was just okay. Don't serve that rice.

The food was excellent and tasty. Macaroni and cheese with buffalo chicken was to die for! But mind you, the restaurant i snot for those counting calories or pennies for that matter! All meat and fish items are expensive - Nashville Hot! Fried Chicken for $216.00/$420.00. Are you kidding me? In any case, I didn't order that! The complementary bread was fresh and melted in the mouth, we topped that with the Roasted Heirloom Tomatoes and Olive Oil, yum! Service was great, the server was very friendly and couldn't stop gushing over how good everything was. The atmosphere was noisy but friendly, so not a place to have romantic dinner, but definitely to enjoy a meal with extended family!

We were there for Parents weekend and it was very crowded. Very, very slow service. It took almost an hour to get breakfast. Food was not great, the special doughnuts were hard and crusty. The nacho eggs were not good, too many nachos, not enough eggs, and very salty. We were very surprised, last time we were there it was much better.

The buttermilk fried chicken at Zingerman's Roadhouse in Ann Arbor, Michigan was the best fried chicken I have ever had. I am 74 years old and until two days ago I thought that with the conversion of Colonel Sanders to the dull lifeless, tasteless "baked' chicken it now offers that I would not again see "real" buttermilk fried chicken again outside of the deep South. Now, at last, real fried chicken is available within 20 miles of my home.
