Decided it was easier to visit with mom if we were't stuck in the kitchen cooking. So we let Zia's do it for us!!! We had a 4 pm reservation and our table was ready right when we got there. The food was excellent and we enoyed a picher of Sangria!!! Our mom had a really nice Mothers Day. We decided to take our sons with us (2 and 3 years old). I was not sure how it would go, but the staff was very good with the boys, food came out quickly, food was good and when my son broke a glass they cleaned it up quickly without making a big deal about it. My only complaint is that I requested a table by the window when I made our reservations, so we could see the river and they did not meet that request. We have never had a bad meal here and will definitely continue to go back. The kitchen staff were friendly and had a moment to chat as they pulled pizzas from the ovens and prepared salads - something interesting to watch along with the sports on screens. There was a pizza special for groups. The dining area was reasonably quiet and comfortable with a great view of the river including lights at night. The Italian decor included bookshelves!
