A word from Zesty's
It’s a great pleasure having you here and we thank you for your continued support through the years.

We’ve seen a lot of changes during our time here, and we are very pleased to introduce our new gastropub, Munk & Nunn; complete with a brand new marble bar, state of the art lighting system, and a touch of old world charm. Our custom hand-crafted church pews provide comfortable seating near the bar, and our traditional café style seating is perfect for dinner parties or after work gatherings. If you’d prefer to be outside we’ve got you covered--our sidewalk seating is perfectly shaded in the summer and comfortably heated in the fall.
Our goal is for every guest to enjoy all we have to offer, from our unique and flavorful small plates to our famous whole fish and traditional Greek favorites. Quench your thirst with the coldest beer on tap in Philadelphia, or share a delicious treat from our signature cocktail menu. Once you’ve been here, you will always be considered a friend.

Diner Reviews
  • "It was probably the first evening where outdoor seating was available. The staff was overloaded and service was a little slow. The food was excellent. Nicely presented and very good taste. Noise inside was loud probably due to a large party seated near by. I would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant."

  • "Menu provided on-line, Zesty's site, is NOT accurate. Restaurant does not serve 'small plates,' and other items. This was a disappointment."

  • "Wonderful Greek food with very fresh fish in a quiet environment. I have been there many times and am never disappointed!"

  • "I really enjoyed the food but the service was awful. My waitress was nice but incompetent. She couldn't answer any of the questions about the food on the menu (what's in that pasta? What fish do you have? What kind of nuts are in that?). She would leave to find out the answers but when she came back she had forgotten we asked the questions and would have to leave to find out the answers to the questions again. It was a really quiet night and maybe six tables were occupied with two waitresses working. The worst was when my friend asked her if we could have separate checks. The waitress said "yes" when she should have said 'no". Because when she came back she tried to split our checks evenly. It was a very frustrating experience."

  • "We've been to Zesty's often and selected it to celebrate 2 birthdays. They were still using the Valentine's Day menu, but there were more than enough choices to satisfy all of the diners. The food and service were excellent. I love this place."

  • "Recommended by a friend we went to Zesty's not knowing it has been in Manayunk for many years. We met the owner/Chief "Tom" who was very freindly. We loved the fresh fish selection and the delightful Greek wines. Service was pleasant. There were several large groups in the same area, but we did not feel crowded, even though there were just (2) of us. There was live entertainment ( a trio singing in the bar/lounge area), and several young folks were sitting sipping and listening to the Greek songs. We did not know that there was free Valet parking (and hearing the horror stories about parking in Manayunk) we paid $10 to park in a lot and walked a few blocks. Lots of people also walking and window shopping. A delightful eveing all around!"

  • "The food is always outstanding, especially if you like fish and lamb. The wait staff and bartender are friendly and accommodating. The bartender makes a great martini. Zesty's is never disappointing.."
