I made a reservation on OpenTable to come in with my mom. When we got there, the host couldn't find our reservation, but it wasn't busy and we were seated anyway. Our food was really good--we got spanakopita, hummus, and moussaka. Not the best moussaka we've ever had, but still pretty good. My only issue was that the service was kinda slow, and our waiter never checked in after he dropped off our entrees. We had to wave him down to get our bill.

For an early dinner on a Sat nite, the meal started with a list of things they were out of!! They offer only 4 house wines, but waiter did not know what they were, and had difficulty finding out. Very disappointing in every way.

Our first trip to Zestys and we didn't know what to expect- menu always looked nice when walking past, but the cartoonish logo, white table cloths and fish bar had confused us as what the scene was like. The good was amazing- and we're picky about our spanakopita. Wine lost was just diverse enough and the meats were cooked well. The ambiance was a little dead- few tables filled in the large dining room and we were all spread out. It didn't ruin the delicious meal, just a little different from boisterous manayunk dining. Over all, I'd go back- maybe even for the spinach pie alone.

We went for Mother's Day brunch. Place is beautifully arranged and decorated. Food was delicious and large portions. Very friendly waiter. Would go again. Even the bathroom was cool. The sink had a faucet in which the water flowed out like a waterfall. They have a full bar too.

An over zealous waiter ruined the experience. He asked at least three times if we wanted another cocktail. The answer was the same each time, "No." He brought the entrees before we finished our appetizers. He brought the bill before we finished our entrees and without ever asking if we wanted coffee or dessert. Then he never came back to the table until we asked another waiter if we could see the manager. The manager never showed but our waiter did, complaining that we needed to understand he had a lot of tables to attend to that night. He did make sure that there were only two options on the ipad for tipping him, either 18 or 20%. He got 18%, but was clearly over paid. Have always enjoyed Zety's, but will think twice before returning.

It was probably the first evening where outdoor seating was available. The staff was overloaded and service was a little slow. The food was excellent. Nicely presented and very good taste. Noise inside was loud probably due to a large party seated near by. I would not hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

I really enjoyed the food but the service was awful. My waitress was nice but incompetent. She couldn't answer any of the questions about the food on the menu (what's in that pasta? What fish do you have? What kind of nuts are in that?). She would leave to find out the answers but when she came back she had forgotten we asked the questions and would have to leave to find out the answers to the questions again. It was a really quiet night and maybe six tables were occupied with two waitresses working. The worst was when my friend asked her if we could have separate checks. The waitress said "yes" when she should have said 'no". Because when she came back she tried to split our checks evenly. It was a very frustrating experience.

Recommended by a friend we went to Zesty's not knowing it has been in Manayunk for many years. We met the owner/Chief "Tom" who was very freindly. We loved the fresh fish selection and the delightful Greek wines. Service was pleasant. There were several large groups in the same area, but we did not feel crowded, even though there were just (2) of us. There was live entertainment ( a trio singing in the bar/lounge area), and several young folks were sitting sipping and listening to the Greek songs. We did not know that there was free Valet parking (and hearing the horror stories about parking in Manayunk) we paid $10 to park in a lot and walked a few blocks. Lots of people also walking and window shopping. A delightful eveing all around!

The overall feel of the place was clean and presentable. Our waiter was very kind and polite. The food, however, took a very long time to come out (~50 minutes) and kept being told that it was coming. If it were busy we might not have been too upset, but there were only two other tables ordering food. Once we finally got the food, we were not very impressed and did not enjoy it.

There was no hostess when we arrived at the restaurant, so we didnt get seated until 45 mins after our reservation time. Apparently there was a party going on in the back that took all servers away from the front. The waiters and waitresses struggled to put on a good face but they were exhausted and the restaurant was ran very poorly. The food was good but I still received part of the wrong entree. It was probably the worst experience i ever had at a restaurant ever! I wish the management knew the importance of a server and to adhere to reservation.

When we were at Zesty's, the place was packed & they were overwhelmed. We were told by our waitress that what two of us ordered, a shrimp dish, they had no more. We were offered another drink on the house & we ordered something else. Within a few minutes, another waitress brought over our original order! The other two ordered the Greek combo. I was almost finished my platter when the combos finally arrived, but with only 2 of the 3 parts. The third came eventually. Let me say, the dishes were all delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Sarah, was constantly at our table updating the situation along with another staff member, Fawn. We never complained; we understood the problem. And Zesty's comped the entire meal. We will be back.

We were there(party of 6) at 6pm to celebrate a college graduation. Started off well but quickly deteriorated. Entrees took forever to come out. Waitress was nowhere to be found. One entree came out cold and had to be sent back. Food was ok not great. 2 people ordered coffee after waiting forever to order it and they came out ice cold! And how at 8:00 at night the only desserts left were cheesecake and peanut butter pie. Then they have the nerve to present the bill to u electronically with only 2 options. An 18% tip or a 20% tip. We were still talking about it the next day how bad it was. I do not recommend it at all!
