  • "We came to the resteraunt for the WV fundraiser. We sat for at least 15 minutes before acknowledged by someone and that was just for water. We waited for more that 25 minutes before we got to put in a cocktail order. We were not offered a second cocktail until we were done with dinner. The WV youngmen were incredible. They even were helping the waitress. The food was great as usual. Just a bit more attention would of been nice. We got there way before the huge crowd for this event. The wait for dinner for us and the other tables was not too long at all. Kudos to the kitchen. Our waitress was super plesant"

  • "I had the beat service as Zesta! I have dinned at several 5star restaurants and this is high on the list. I would recommend Zesta to friends, family, and Yakima Valley visitors. Our server, David was delightful, energetic, and well organized, he did an outstanding job!"

  • "In a town where the food (and the service, for that matter) can vary from excellent to downright insulting - even at the same restaurant from night to night, Zesta has never undercut our expectations for great food. It's the one place in town we know we can go and the food will always be top notch. The secret of course, is no secret at all - hire great chefs and treat them to keep them. I don't know how the chefs are treated there, but it's apparent that the food is not prepared by busboys or dishwashers as is one or more of the local popular restaurants. From presentation to temperature (never cold when it should be hot) to tableware, it's consistantly very, very good. The wait staff can be odd occassionally, but last night it was perfect."

  • "My husband and I have favorite dishes at Zesta Cucina. The Foccacia Cambozola is delicious, the chicken ravioli is the best in town. The salads are fresh and light and the décor makes for a festive and cozy dining experience. It gets a little loud for us but the food is worth it and the service is exceptional!"

  • "Zesta Cuccina is a great place to celebrate the new year! It's decorated wonderfully. The food is exceptional and the service has always been over the top. Our favorite place to go when we have something to celebrate or just want exceptional food for lunch or dinner. It can be very noisy at times with a lot of people celebrating."

  • "We took a guest with us for dinner. It was great as usual. They food was very good. We had diver scallops and dungeness crab parpardelle as entrees w/ their chowder as a starter. Our server was excellent. Her knowledge of the menu was perfect and she was always there to attend to our needs."

  • "Food was excellent. The restaurant was busy enough that the server had problems keeping up with the load. Server was friendly and nice but seemed hurried and flustered. Service could have bee a lot better."

  • "We had hoped for a pleasant dinner out with just immediate famiy before the Thanksgiving Day dinner the next day with the extended family. I picked "energetic" for noise level but it was more like frenetic. While the food was exellent the noise level in the resturant was to the point we couldn't really converse with each other and felt like we were in a sports stadium what with the roar of the crowd. Great food but the venue needs to work on acoustic logistics. Too pricey to not be able to talk with the people you came to have dinner with."

  • "Food was incredible, what a surprise. The sauces for all the dishes were divine! From the starters (calamari, stuffed mushrooms), salads, steaks, scallops, pasta and dessert-pretty. Some of the very best food in all of Yakima. Everything was presented artfully. Portions were generous, so the moderate prices are justified. Vibrant spot, noise level tends to be 'energetic', so a quiet dinner may be a challenge weekend evenings. Service was amazing, we wanted for nothing. They predicted everything we needed or would need before we asked for it. Lovely decorations of hanging glass lanterns, warm and inviting, artfully presented and I personally loved the white lights on the tree branches-a food wonderland for all senses!"
