ZengoGood food, Great serviceThe food was very good quality with normal portion sizes. The cost for what you get is a little steep, but you are also paying for top notch service and a wonderful ambiance in a great location. Overall the experience was very positive.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous FusionZengo food is like no other. Its different and spicy a mix of Mexican and Asian flavors. Great tequila selection. Enjoy!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMOff our Beaten TrackSo happy someone recommended Zengo as we have been coming to Denver for years and have missed it.
The offerings were interesting and everything was delicious, beautifully presented and the service was top rate.
I will highly recommend this experience and look forward to our return.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMTrendy, creative food... at a priceWe are vegetarians who love the vegetarian sushi roll, the mojitos and creative cocktails (wonderful selection!), the sweet plantains, and asparagus tempura tacos. The atmosphere is very fun and trendy, with good energy. However, you pay through the nose for the creative selections -- we paid $93 for a light dinner for 2, sharing an entree and a couple dim sum plates with dessert. Great food, but our enthusiasm for Zengo has diminished over our last few visits for the small amount of food you get for the money.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMTwo Nights in a RowSo delicious, I went two nights in a row. I make sure to frequent ZENGO each time I visit Denver. Tasty, unique dishes and a refreshing change to other restaurants.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat night! My husband and I took our son out to dinner for his 18th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We will be back many more times!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst TimeThe food was amazing and the attitudes of all service staff were wonderful. There could have been a little more detail about the menu and the different items, even just the highlights. Additionally it was a little loud but not too over the top. Overall a great dining experience!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have repeatedly visitedWe have repeatedly visited Zengo with great results. Most recently we visited for a 30 birthday celebration with a small group and they surprised us at the end of a meal with a complimentary dessert with "Happy Birthday" written on the plate - an unexpected and very appreciated final touch. The food is very unique and creative. Dishes are thoughtful and well executed. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, attentive, and paces meals well even on the busiest of evenings. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 on ambience is it can be very loud if you are sitting near the bar area, and we visited at dusk and a couple of us had the sun in our eyes for the majority of dinner due to blinds that don't close floor to ceiling. Will visit again and again!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMWe ordered a series of smallWe ordered a series of small plates and were not disappointed. My wife enjoyed the ahi tuna tacos the best. Really a good wine selection and enjoyable atmosphere.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWe tried 3 different smallWe tried 3 different small plates that night. All were fabulous! We ordered 2 dinners - again both were to die for ESPECIALLY the black cod!! I tried several different cocktails - all were delicious. My dining partner ordered "bartender's special" (make what they want) and had one of the best drinks he ever had.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMLOVE this place. Always deliciousLOVE this place. Always delicious food...I like that they change their menu up from time to time.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic w/ 2 commentsZengo has fantastic food, the menu is very creative most things you can't pronounce but your servier will fill you in. I've eaten here 4 times and every time there is something new and different on the menu. I have not been disappointed yet. Two things to mention tho: 1) don't get there before they open because no matter how cold it is they won't let you in and 2) happy hour is only available at the bar.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWould highly recommend theirWould highly recommend their bottomless brunch! What a fun way to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning...and most of the food was really stellar too - not mass produced sitting under a warming tray for hours like some bottomless brunches. Also, Zengo is famously accommodating of dietary restrictions and this proved accurate for brunch too - tons of vegetarian and even vegan options, as well as gluten free, etc.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Back Room dinning....noisFantastic Back Room dinning....noise reduction....the best....plus Jessica Server...the best...fantastic food.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was excellant.Everything was excellant. The four of us started with drinks at the bar. A variety of choices made by friendly bartenders. They make a martini with tequila garnished with a habenero slice that is amazing. once seated we started on the appetizers. We tried to run the menu but had to stop at eight. For dinner we had the crab, very unique and flavorful. we finished off with dessert and a tequila hot toddy. A wonderful night with great food and service.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and service. WeGreat food and service. We have been many times and is consistently good. We are fans of small shareable plates and they have enough variety to make it fun.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was amazing and weThe food was amazing and we had a great experience!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThey have a great happy hourThey have a great happy hour on the patio. It is the perfect way to start your evening while waiting for a table during the summer months.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my favorite restaurants. One of my favorite restaurants. It never disappoints. Creative menu, well prepared and beautifully presented.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were given a quiet, privateWe were given a quiet, private table way in the back away from much of the noise and the DJ. The $35 bottomless brunch was no joke! We ordered endless amounts of food and drink and got more than our money's worth. The quality of food and all the flavors are always amazing at Zengo!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMZengo a Delight! After discovering Zengo during restaurant week, we booked a table for Easter lunch. The special menu was well priced, delicious and fun! It was an 'eat and drink all you can' and the service was fast; we were never without a dish before us. The service was terrific. I think we've got a new favorite restaurant - and we're willing to drive 45 minutes to get there.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMAdobo Chicken Steam Buns areAdobo Chicken Steam Buns are a spicy and textural sensation. Wow. Happy Hour prices are $5-$7 for tapas that should cost much more for the superior quality, plus the fresh Mango Mojito and other drinks are $5.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMI have never been disappointedI have never been disappointed with a Zengo meal. We arrived earlier than the rest of our party and sat at the bar enjoying cocktails and the xo edamame. That is probably the best edamame around. When the rest of the party arrived we went with the sharing approach and ordered a variety of items. Everything was wonderful. Fabulous flavors and presentation. Also, the cocktails are fantastic.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best thing was the service. The best thing was the service. Milo, our waiter was outstanding. Disappointed that we ordered a bottle of wine and when we tried to order a second one they were out. The only other option was a much pricier bottle that wasn't as good or familiar name. Love the food - just wish the tables weren't so close to each other.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was outstanding and quiteFood was outstanding and quite unusual.
Enjoyed appetizers, salads and entrees.
Server was not with it, however. Waited way too long for everything and much longer than the table next to us with a different server.
Our server was very pleasant, just not punctual with us.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat mix of flavorsWe love the unusual combinations of flavors and tastes. Sushi rolls, empanadas, salads, steaks, on and on. Great service. Great tequila selection.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMYumYummy. I was impressed with some of the changes on the menu.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ChoicesThe Latin-Asian fusion concept works. There are many small plates to share, or a good selection of entrees for those who prefer a set portion. It's on the pricey side, but the food and service justify it. Don't miss the mojitos - traditional or otherwise.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMZengo Is A FavoriteThe Vegie Rolls for Restaurant Week were spectacular. The interior texture of the rolls was crunchy and the mix of flavor was superb! Zengo's regular menu is sparkling with culinary surprises every time we go. Make sure you visit Zengo as often as your budget permits!2/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
