I went with my husband and two boys. We ate mostly off of the happy hour menu and sampled differ appetizer. THhe empanadas were flaky and tasty. My son LOVED the wagu beef and chorizo tacos. My boys loved the virgin fruit flavored mojitos. Service was great and the outdoor seating. We had the churros for dessert which were delicious.

Zengo always knocks it out of the park. The service is fantastic, right down to their handling of food allergies. My girlfriend is allergic to nuts and everyone on the waitstaff who brought us food made sure to specifically say "here's the XYZ dish with no nuts in it."

Came here for brunch for the first time and it was totally worth it! Love the concept of all you can eat without the buffet, we were able to sit and be served the whole time. Also loved the small plates, so we could try a little of everything and it was all delicious. Definitely coming back.

When we first sat down, the waiter came over a couple of times looking for an order. We weren't quite ready, but ordered wine by the glass. One glass came pretty soon, the other at least 10 minutes later. Then, we had to look for the waiter to give our order about a half an hour later. The food came after a while, and we told the bus boy who delivered it that we wanted another glass of wine. We never saw the waiter again. Finally, we flagged him down and ordered the wine (half way thru the dinner) We got the wine, and then really never saw the waiter again. we were talking for about 30 or 40 minutes, he never offered desert or coffee or other drinks, we just got the check and left. It was not a busy night!

The service left a lot to be desired, it was slow and somewhat scattered. It took around 20 minutes for me to receive my drink. I realized after leaving the restaurant that neither I nor my friend commented on the food, good or bad. It was unimpressive, the ceviche was mostly pineapple with just a little bit of fish, the tuna tacos had little flavor and my margarita was very disappointing. I ordered a jalapeño margarita and it tasted like a plain margarita, no spice or flavor of jalapeño. I also thought it was strange that it came in a martini glass, no ice, and 2/3 of the way full, for an 11 dollar drink I was expecting something much much better. Overall I will not be returning here.

The food was good but the portions were hardly snack-sized and the prices are completelybridiculous. $72 to feed two people there and not fill either of us up. The staff wasn't very approachable nor friendly and it took forever to get our food. Would never go there again evem if it was free.

The food is flavorful and unique. And very delicious for those who can tolerate spice. Unfortunately, for us everything was spicy. We ask in advance to recommend mild dishes, but everything had kick. Because of health reasons that is not an option. Server was a little arrogant from the beginning......like she did not want to be there. Got a little better as the evening went on. But was disappointed factoring in the total cost of the meal This is not an inexpensive location......worth every penny, but expect better service

Nice enviornment...friendly waitress....good appetizers....flavor-LESS entree's ...Miso soup virtually tasteless, recommended Miso Black Bass slightly under done, but worse...no flavor....the asparagus was fine, but the diakon fries had a strange taste that did not complement the fish...likewise scallops and pork belly entree were without taste/flavor...pork belly had virtually no taste at all, and the scallops next to none....the waitress, at least discounted the meal, however, $70 for a worthless meal was still excessive.

This was my second time at Zengo and it was even better than the first. The food is Mexican/Asian fusion and everything was great. You have to try the Wagyu beef on the hot stone. Zengo was great! However, it would've been fantabulous is they afforded us the same Tequila menu at the restaurant that they had at their sister Tequila Bar. The food, service, etc. were all great. We will definitely be back. As a matter of fact, I am traveling to DC in 2 weeks and have made reservations for Zengo there.

I took my parents here when they were in town, and we were all a little disappointed in the food. The menu looked amazing, but the execution led to many of our items being less than satisfactory. Our waiter was also serving a table of 10 people, and it ended up being 20 minutes or more after we received our appetizers to even order our main courses. Overall, not the best experience, especially for the price.

This is the second time that I have dined here with a friend and it has been great both times. Interesting and exciting menu with Latin and Asian fusion. We ordered 4 plates to share, which was plenty for 2 people and we found that they did not take too long to come out. They also have a good drink menu with unique cocktails, which are not all sweet/fruity drinks. I had the cucumber cooler, which I would recommend to people who do not like very sweet drinks. Service was great both times as we did not feel neglected at our table even though there were many other people in the restaurant. Definitely will be going back as I am impressed with the unique fusion menu and have a had 2 very good experiences here so far.

Went here for an anniversary dinner with my wife. Both the food and the service were exceptional. Each month they pick an Asian and South American cuisine to blend together, which makes for some very interesting combinations. And they clearly spend the time and effort to let the waitstaff become familiar with the menu; our waiter's recommendations were our favorite dishes.

I dined here with several guests from Canada who enjoy Asian cuisine. They found the Latin-Asia fusion motif at Zengo to be quite tasty and interesting - a nice touch when you are with guests who might want something beyond the usual. The table and the noise level were quite conducive to conversation, also a positive. My entree, the pork chop with mole, featured well balanced flavor with a colorful and inviting presentation. Recommended.

We had a party of 6 for dinner & we were all blown away with everything. For starters, we were offered a choice of tables; we chose to dine on the patio. Our waiter was fabulous from start to finish. Each dish was wonderfully prepared and presented beautifully. We enjoyed sharing tastes from each others choices including desserts. It was so much fun. The location near Confluence Park made us feel like we had left the city behind and were on vacation. The surrounding area is really lovely. We all came down via the lightrail and walked 5 minutes to the restaurant which was super easy; though they do offer complimentary valet parking. We were all very impressed with Zengo and highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food.

My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary, wanting to try something new. We heard from a friend that this was a test kitchen environment and the food was good. The staff and food was pretty good. For similar food we have had elsewhere that was just as good, if not better was about twice the price. For 2 drinks, appetizer and 2 entrees (which doesn't include a side) was almost $150 after all was said and done. I didn't feel we ordered anything extravagant, black cod and lamb chops. Good food and service but way overpriced. Won't be coming back anytime soon with those kind of prices.

The food, wine, and atmosphere was good. The service was lackluster but that seems to be the trend in Denver. There was nobody there to greet us when we walked in but a line of people. None of the staff seemed to have any urgency which is troubling when you wait 10 mins for a glass of wine. I would go again for the food and the wine list has some of my favorite regions represented. But go somewhere else for a special occasion.

We had a nice time at Zengo but the food was not as great as expected in that it came out fast and had good flavors but was nothing to write home about. Our server was fairly lack luster and seemed to have had a long day. The pisco sour was not very authentic and both drinks were very light on in terms of alcohol content. I would not race back to this restaurant. The host was lovely and friendly and I am sure its a great place but I was just not overly impressed given the reviews.
