  • "I had out-of-town friends visiting and selected Zazou for dinner. It was the best choice. The server was the best I've had in ages, and the food was excellent. We had the goat cheese appetizer which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed the lamb skewers, spaghetti, salmon, and pumpkin ravioli. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse and bread pudding -- both were out of this world!"

  • "It was nice that you could make a reservation online. We were a group of 8 people and the table was ready when we arrived. We're all tall people and felt a little squeezed. Pleasant atmosphere, not too loud. Service was very friendly and helpful. Creamy spinach soup was too salty. The filet steak was perfectly cooked but the sauce lacked pepper and cognac. Overall nicely presented and timely served. Thanks to caring waiters I would go back!"

  • "Great local restaurant with great service and even better food! I had the spaghetti with a jalepeno cream sauce and shrimp... omg! Food flavor burst! Loved it and it wasn't over done. Delicate and not overly filling, it's a perfect portion size. The wine list is extensive, the service attentive and the noise level surprisingly perfect. Tables aren't too close to each other allowing for private conversations. Was really happy with the entire dinner experience."

  • "My wife's co-worker recommended Zazou to her a couple of weeks ago. So glad that he did! The food, Filet, Shortribs, Beet Salad, and Ceasar Salad were all delicious. Nice wine and cocktail list. All of the accompanying sauces were also delicious. The Bread Pudding was highly recommended but we weren't sure if we wanted any. It is a must! Sooo good! We can't wait to return. Thanks Zazou!!"

  • "Finding a restaurant last minute on a Friday night, Valentine's Day no less, is not easy. We've been here a few times and have never had a bad meal. Service is always good, staff always acts like they are happy to see you (not all places do that anymore), Took my girl here and enjoyed both the pepper-steak and shrimp-pasta. Very good wine selection, full-bar and easy parking on street. We use Open Table extensively which makes getting a reservation fast."

  • "Zazou is always reliable for good food, good service and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is always personable. Ordered off the menu for Valentine's dinner. They had run out of our wine and dessert selection but no problem. Our other selections were fantastic. We tried the salmon and pumpkin ravioli. Yummy! Will definitely return!"

  • "You never can go wrong with the dinner menu. We've been going to Zazou's for years--special occasions. No matter what we order the food is delicious. I especially enjoyed desert--warm chocolate cake with whipped cream (also added a scoop of ice cream). Yumm,,, Service was a little slower than normal--but that was due to Valentine's Day "understandable"."

  • "Went to Zazou for my birthday, with family. A friend had given us a certificate to use, otherwise we might have chosen a less pricey place. In brief, food was well prepared and presented, excellent ingredients, right-sized, and tasty. The three of us had the seabass special, pasta with mussels, and filet mignon. I really enjoyed the seasonal cocktail, prepared with gin, ginger, and a sprig of rosemary, served in a large glass. Dessert was excellent and came without the Happy Birthday song, thank goodness. Our waiter was excellent, understated but obviously well trained. Timing was impeccable. We all came away happy. An excellent choice for special occasions!"

Antiboise Salad was very good tasting, instead of goat cheese we substituted for feta, deelicious and very crunchy!!! Spaghetti Livornese & the Moules Frites Poulette was devoured to the last mussel!!! "Pièce de résistance" was the dessert!!! Vanilla Brioche Bread Pudding & the Chocolate Monaco just melted in our mouths!!! Again very deelicious!!! Kudos to the chef and the staff working there!!! Very friendly and courteous!!! Thank you for making Rem's bday celebration memorable!!!"

  • "I enjoy going to Zazou's but it is somewhat pricy. For 3 people with a moderate bottle of wine the bill was $200 before tip (and 2 of us only had pasta for a main course and 1 had only a salad for a starter). For a neighborhood restaurant in Riviera Village, I think that's a bit too high. The food is good but not amazing. However, our Brazilian waiter was terrific. He remembered me from a previous visit 5 months ago and he was very helpful."

  • "I took an out-of-town friend here and he was very impressed with the food. The Thai entree salad with beef was good and the Steak au Poivre was very good as well. The Pièce de Résistance was the chocolate mousse which was absolutely heavenly. We also tried the bread pudding which was just ok - not enough bread. I took it home and added a sprinkling of chocolate chips, a teaspoon of rum, popped it the microwave for a minute and voila, delish. The only sore spot was that the food took a long time to arrive even though the restaurant was half empty. However, the wait staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgable so that made up for it. All in all, a very pleasant experience and a great place for a romantic dinner or out with friends."
