The lamb was gorgeous, full of flavour, melt in your mouth. Bar was beginning happy hour. Our waiter Fernando was attentive and made great recommendations of the notable dishes of the chef. My wife had the kufteh tabrizi stuffed with duck and I had the lamb sirloin. The rose preserve in the baklava was very memorable. The desert was awesome especially the Baklava.
I would recommend ordering pistachio meatballs and smoke trout salad.

We all loved the Middle Eastern- Mediterranean fusion feel to the food. Pistachio meatballs, smoked trout, eggplant appetizer - all winners. But the real stars of the night go to the entrees - braised lamb, beef cheeks and even the lamb burger. All juicy, delicious and flavorful. Everyone was swooning til the last bite! Noise level got a little too high in the curtained area because of a large group but it was manageable. The beef cheeks entree in parsnip puree with pickled cauliflower and mushrooms was delicious; so was the chocolate dessert! I am a long- time fan of Emily Luchetti's dessert cookbooks. I was thrilled to actually taste some of them in situ! The oysters, too, were wonderful. We even had two from my home town in Rhode Island. What a terrific surprise. I had the quail with wild rice whih was plate licking good combined with the fabulous pomogranate molases reduction. Definetly try the meatballs which are light and fluffy and have a yummy sauce accompnying them.
My husband had the dangeneous crab pasta and it was just ok, not really enough crab or any interesting flavours.

The Maitre D said he would seat us early if he could which was nice. Bartender made great cocktails. Dinner was pleasant. Pistachio meatballs had a much too tart pomegranate sauce for me. Lam shank was tasty, falling off the bone the way I like it. Pumpkin bread pudding was delicious but the TINY scoop of anise ice cream needed to be bigger. so when I asked for more, the waiter kindly brought me 2 more scoops with another almond biscotti.
